Best computer repair service! Anthony helped me with my computer issue and I am so glad I got his help. He was professional and kind, constantly updating me on his progress with my computer via email. I've never felt so "in the know" with what was happening during a repair process. My computer got cleaned up and they also discovered a video issue with my hardware that Apple extended a repair service for. Anthony made sure that I knew about my video issue, and explained to me how to get Apples repair service, which ended up being free! It is so rare to find a business that will tell you an issue with your device and then tell you how to get it fixed for free! They could have charged me that repair the problem, but that is not how The Mac Studio does business. I will always use this business for my tech needs, I am a customer for life! Anthony provides exceptional customer service and responds to our requests within 24 hours. He provides on-site service, which extended the life of our 2011 iMac. He also is an expert at remote troubleshooting. After downloading the new OS, our 2015 iMac was having connectivity and performance issues. My Mac keyboard was diagnosed and repaired within 24 hours, and I was updated via email and text. Nice touch. The computer actually runs better than when I took it in. I opted for the higher quality glue, which really does keep the computer running much cooler than before. My battery on my MacBook had completely died to the point it had to be plugged in at all times. Anthony was the only person who was willing to help me on New Years Eve day and actually had the battery in stock. He is really knowledgeable and the whole turnaround time was only about 2 hours. I was in a bit of a panic when my son knocked a cup of coffee onto my Macbook Pro early on a Monday morning. Anthony responded right away when I reached out and explained the process he would take to try to prevent damage. I met him that day and he took the back of my computer right away and suggested an ultrasonic cleaning. Two days later I got my trusty Macbook Pro back, good as new and perhaps even better. He thoroughly cleaned the whole computer and it feels like new. It's running faster than it was before after some software checks he did and it's running cooler as the fan is working less after 3 1/2 years of dust, dirt and whatnot were cleaned out of it. The price was reasonable, I was updated throughout the process and the end result is that my computer is going strong and seems to show no sign of the caffeine java bath. The pleasant professionals at The Grove Apple Store tried for a couple of hours to figure out why my MacBookPro suddenly stopped charging. They finally decided the solution was one week and $800 at their Kentucky facility. Yikes! Called around and The Mac Studio was highly recommended by another repair shop that didn't handle newer Macs. Romero at The Mac Studio simply plugged in a charger and ba-boom - it immediately started charging. Call it luck. Call it a miracle. Who cares. He was able to diagnose the likely issue over the phone, confirmed he could do the repair, and provided a reasonable quote and time estimate. In terms of the service, he was very thorough and meticulous in doing the repair, and even noticed and fixed a minor keyboard issue that I forgot to mention. After spilling red wine (I know..) on my laptop, I called Apple for assistance. They recommended a repair shop, so I drove there right away. It was on a Friday around 2:00 - 3:00 PM and the shop told me they wouldn't even have time to look at it until Monday. I didn't feel great about it, but what other options did I have? I took a stroll on Abbot Kinney later that day and I wandered into a store and found Anthony's shop in the back (closer to 5:00 PM) and popped in to tell him about my dilemma. He affirmed that my concerns were legitimate (as wine is caustic) and that my laptop would likely be ruined sitting unattended for a full weekend, and offered to take a look at it right away. I hastily returned to the other shop, requested a refund on my retainer, and dashed back to The Mac Studio. Anthony got to work on it right away and was communicative / updated me throughout all of his repairs on my computer via email and ultimately saved my laptop from demise!
