Sam and his team are some of the most helpful & pleasant dudes in Tech Support I've ever dealt with, and I've worked directly with jerky Software Engineers for major studios for over twenty years . First time I came in Pre pandemic he gave me a sidecar donut from a box that one of the other clients brought after he fixed my crappy MacBook Pro from 2013. You had me at free fancy donuts. Then It lasted about a few more years, and I went in again to try to fix it but it was dead and time to get a new one. I called in the morning to find out if I could bring in my laptop for them to run a diagnostic as it suddenly decided to slow down to a snails pace. Marvin indicated that he could work with me remotely which was amazing as I did not want to leave my computer unattended since I have private data on it. He worked on troubleshooting for over an hour while I was able to watch every move. I was impressed by his abilities to just go through all the different applications and try to determine the root of the problem. The more I thought about it the more I wanted to come back and update my review. The practice of charging the diagnose fee was problematic. 1) Under any circumstance no one should pay for an unsolicited examination of other parts of the computer. 2) The charge was not stated BEFORE the examination and requested only AFTER it happened. 3) For a lean student who just wanted to get his laptop back, the only way is to agree to give a five-star review so that the diagnose fee can be waived. How many people who gave the five-star review was treated with the similarly unjust way? I don't know. But I just had to come back and share the unhappy situation before I regret it anymore. read more

I strongly suggest anyone needing repair to look elsewhere. In the end, they couldn't fix the original issue and screen (that broke in their possession). And the reason for the my 1 star review is the horrible customer service and lack of accountability during the entire process. - I was the one that always called and asked for updates. - I was the one who had to waste time and money to pick up a broken computer. - I was the one who waited well over a week to get nothing resolved. For a situation like this, a simple 'sorry' didn't cut it. And I seriously question the legitimacy of all these 5 star reviews. Tech Studio had recently done a hardware install for a PC I purchased and they did such a good job that I asked them if they could do a 3D printer assembly for me, even though it wasn't really in their normal scope of services. As expected they did a great job and finished the assembly quickly and inexpensively as well. Even when there was a slight wire management issue after the assembly was completed Sam took care of it for me free of charge.
