I always go to Jazmine for all of my haircut and makeup needs. She always gets the exact look I want, even better than I imagine. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I have never felt more beautiful while still feeling like myself. You know how you go to the salon and most times you leave feeling refreshed and revitalized, sometimes feelin like a whole new woman ? I was hoping some lavender color can brighten up my day and so I booked an apt for a "One color Pastel Balayage" I had a two toned faded ombré look going into the salon, and had some reference photos of what I wanted. Which are included at the bottom. Now, I know I have a lot of hair, that's why I'm picky with who I book with. I just moved to walnut so I was looking for a professional colorist who was local. This session ended up being $230+ and the desired color was never achieved and she made it seem as though I would at least have the color I wanted for at least a month. I allowed the color to settle a few days, fade with a cold wash, but the demipermanent dye she used washed right out within less than 5 days. I wouldn't suggest booking this service unless you know you're gonna be spending about $200 every week just to have colorless strands 5 days after. And then having to wait however long to pay another $200 that might not even achieve what you want. I understand hair is a process however I've since had a stylist fix my hair to the desired color and I believe it was not executed properly. To update: thanks for your response back. I just do not care for the approach taken on my hair. Due to its known darkness and thickness, other stylists suggested better approaches which would have taken much less cost and would have resulted in a closer lift, color, and ending texture. The balayage was booked because it was the closest thing to what I wanted but as discussed lavender was to achieved. So doing the balayage just made it a 3 step process verses a shorter less expensive process. It just makes much more sense to get a better lift the first time, verses picking out the dark brown hairs again and re bleaching what is already done. Ultimately taking it longer and much more $$ to achieve the desired goal. Had I known, I would not have booked at this location. There are places which can do the lightening and toning for cheaper especially if it's a step process which would bring you back. Do your research folks I suggest maybe asking realistically what you're gonna be walking out looking like and if it's worth it to do it the approach she will be taking. I believe communication is definitely lacking on the salons part and unfortunately it just seemed unprofessional and rushed from any other experience I've had with my hair. read more

I came to Jazmine after having a horrible dye job at another salon (stay away from OMG in San Gabriel), based on a friend's recommendation. Jazmine was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and listened to everything I wanted which is especially important after having a bad salon experience, as I had with my previous salon. She even knew how to work with the tricky cowlick in my bangs, which no other stylist I have gone to ever has. My hair was brassy with harsh dye lines, and completely unblended and uneven. Jazmine clearly knows what she's doing, and perfectly blended and corrected the color. She even trimmed my bangs because the cut was also uneven. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my new combo balayage ombré hair! :) thank you Jazmine for saving my hair. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still in love with my hair! Eli is the best! My mom and I have been coming to her for years since she was at Salon Lavish and I have never been disappointed. I love her new location at the Mane Co-Op. It's so cute and very quiet. Before coming to her, I always wanted to be blonde and I always box dyed my hair and I obviously could never get it to the color I wanted lol. Like many people I am an avid social network go-oer, especially with instagram. I was in need of a new hairstylist. I found a lot of nice pictures from Jasmine! I loved her work and instantly texted her! She has the sweetest personality and is very welcoming! Initially I had wanted to get a baylage and had set up a consultation appointment with her to get a quote. Ho9wever, I had a change of heart and decided to go with black ( I KNOW BIG DIFFERENCE) but it is just so striking and I know that bleach will be harsh on my thin hair. When I informed her of my change of heart she was perfectly okay with it and informed me of how hard it will be to go lighter later on. She has a promotion right now which consists of a free haircut with a full color. I was not aware of this deal and she kindly offered it! She and others just opened up their own salon. It is located it Sola salons. Once you enter the doors you make a left and she is in suit #24. She was very neat applying the dye and gentle with my hair. She offered some snacks and water and just made me feel like I was at home. She did an amazing job and I could not thank her enough. She made me feel like a million dollars walking out. Oh! I needed to find a new place for my much needed color and trim mid-length hair and I was so happy to find this little gem from yelp and Instagram and immediately made my appointment with Eli. This salon is located inside the Sola Salons owned by three sweet ladies and just newly opened a month ago. Once inside, I was greeted by Eli's warm smile and a variety of drinks to choose from. She asked me how I want my hair to be styled and viewed the pictures I prepared. We discussed a little bit and she started to work right away. She is very confident and efficient and carries on good conversation; I know immediately that she knows what she's doing. She also schedules her appointments well; while I was waiting for the color to sit in, she gave a client a haircut, and when I was about done, the next client just showed up, so she is busy but has her 100% attention on all her clients which is a big plus for me. The result turns out to be great and I am very happy about it! The balayage is smooth and subtle and very pretty! She told me how to take care and style my hair and also grow for couple more months before the next haircut to fix my previous disastrous too much of a texture haircut to achieve the style I want. I had my first appointment with Eli about four months ago and now I won't go anywhere else. I was in bad shape when I first when in with my multi-color shades of red and damaged ends, and she was patient with me.
