Tuesday was Trivia Night but we were still able to get a seat at the bar. Bartenders were very friendly and there was a decent draft selection. We decided to take the easy option with Miller Lites. There was a wide range of ages from people in their early 20s enjoying a late meal to people in their 60s playing trivia. Tons of TVs, I enjoyed watching west coast baseball during my visit. Beer was cold, bartenders were friendly, I'd definitely like to return and get a bite to eat. Dagwoods certainly feels like a strong option for drink or food. I just wish they were open past 11 PM.

The corn beef is lean and deliciously full of rich beef and spices (mustard seed, black pepper, and maybe coriander?) on warm rye, softly cradling the spicy brown mustard encased beef. The potato salad is like a cool l, creamy, and savory puree: my favorite potato salad of all time. The sandwich, potato salad and pickle (if only it were a half sour) is every bit as good as Langers in Los Angeles, a landmark for New York deli, but 1/16th as crowded. The dining area has fewer than ten tables. I hope it's always here when I return.
