We failed to connect because opening time are inconsistent on the web depending on where you look. Definitely need to mange your web data. The inside is welcoming and bright with a loft like industrial feel of big windows, high exposed ceilings with exposed utilities and natural woods. Bar sits stage right as you enter and is HUGE. Nice and deep to easily accommodate food and drinks without feeling all elbows while negotiating plates. Once we ordered were offered a small plate of sliced Granny Smith apples and a generous portion of what they consider their famous secret apple dip. A whipped and creamy taste play of sweet and tart cream cheese, cinnamon, maple and lemon juice perhaps??? Tasty! A really nice touch while you wait. Smart in that it gives you something nonstandard to ponder while you wait..."I wonder what's in here...???", and consider how nice that some had the forethought to deliver something out of the ordinary which took just a little extra effort and thought! This place was incredible. We started with Cappuccinos (which were quite large) and some Mimosa fights. Those Mimosa's were FIRE. The combinations were outstanding. It was VERY difficult to pick a dish because so many sounded amazing but I opted for the Bfast tacos w/chorizo and the hubs for the shrimp and grits. Tasty and fun spot located in downtown Milwaukee. We walked in on a chilly winter's night and was warmed up by the warm tea and maple-y flavors. We were seated and while we were waiting for our order, the waitress brought out a yummy maple cream cheese dip with apple slices. It was a fun pre-meal treat. I ordered the pecan chicken salad and it was delicious. I loved all the flavors and had it with grits- something that I do not see very often but enjoyed very much. My dining partner had the rueben and thought it was good. My tea came with a choice of different sugars including raw turbinado brown sugar which I don't find very often and absolutely love. The only strange thing was that it seemed as if we had two half waitresses and they weren't sure about whose table it was. So good! We went to Racine to check out a kids store and decided to stop here for lunch. It was unexpectedly great. They have so many things in the menu that we wanted to try. I ended up getting the half sandwich/half soup meal. I got the chicken salad sandwich and potato soup. The potato soup was sooo good and creamy!! I mean to take pictures, but got sidetracked by the food :) We've made the drive from Milwaukee to Racine (totally worth it!) twice now to check this restaurant out for breakfast. Large seating area, friendly staff, good coffee, what more could you ask for?! There are a lot of options on the menu from pancakes, to Benedicts, to breakfast tacos, so no one will be disappointed. Very homey with great food. They do have a great sounding drink menu but unfortunately it wasn't a boozey brunch day for us. The fresh juices were delicious though. All the egg entrees were very large and had great sides! Pancakes were delicious and fluffy. Took a while to get seated so would definitely recommend a reservation on the weekends. I love the ideas of their dishes, but I don't recall it ever wow'ing me. A lot of people around me do like it though so don't let my opinion stop you from trying it. I recently tried their avocado toast called Green Eggs and Toast. It was good, but it was missing something like a balsamic glaze or something that would add more flavor. I'm also one of those people who try and/or like to eat everything on my plate. With that being said, these gross leaves were mixed in with the other ones I ate. Every time I go there I am always amazed. The people are wonderful, the place is clean and really nicely decorated, and the food, most importantly, is always reliably delicious! So happy to support The Maple Table! I picked up (2) meals - Fish Fry Friday and the food is Awesome as usual! 2 Stars for the 3 ignorant staff members standing at the Hostess Stand. I pulled into the designated "Curbside" parking spot and realized that I needed to throw away a disposable mask. When I exited the vehicle one of the girls glared at me and threw her hands in the air because I walked towards the garbage can instead of the restaurant door. Not even a second and I was inside the restaurant and grabbed my To Go bag as the 3 of them who had obviously been complaining amongst themselves because they ASSUMED that I was not a patron. Stereotyping and bias behavior is no place in a restaurant during these difficult times. This is an example why people stop supporting good restaurants - horrible pathetic staff! Great new restaurant in downtown Racine! We checked out the Maple Table on Saturday and were not disappointed. It was an overall really good experience. We arrived pretty early around 7:40am and it seemed the young women hostess was just waking up because she barely got out the words how many. It would have been nice to get a hello or good morning or welcome or something. The dining room is decorated super cute with farm to table theme with a long bench on one side of the room with multiple tables and chairs lined up. It was fine until people were seated on each side of us and in such close proximity you feel almost like you are part of their conversation. Our server was training another server and greeted us with hello. We ordered drinks that came out in nice mason type jars with paper straws already in the drinks. Thought it is great that you are using paper straws but would like the option to have a straw instead of it already put in my drink. Then it seemed like it took awhile for the servers to come out again to take our order. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict with hash browns and hubby ordered the breakfast burrito. While we waited the server brought out complimentary apple slices with a maple cream cheese dip which was a nice touch and very good. When our breakfast arrived it looked great however mine was luke warm but hubby's was piping hot. The portions were huge and neither one of us could finish our meals. The hollandaise sauce was cooked perfectly I just wish there was a bit more of it since it was covering an egg, pulled ham, and a gigantic English muffin. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and seemed very fresh and not made from a frozen bag which was awesome! I wish they offered half orders of the Benedicts as the muffin is very large and I was full after eating one half. My husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito and said it had a bit of a kick. Again the portion was huge and the presentation was beautiful. The bill totaled $27. Overall a good experience. We look forward to going back to try other menu offerings and think this restaurant is a welcomed addition to the area. It is definitely worth checking them out if you have a chance! read more

Despite wanting this new spot to thrive in downtown Racine, we were unfortunately a little disappointed with our experience. The atmosphere was quaint and the place has great potential. The monkey bread is lick-the-plate good, get it! My husband's benedict had amazing hollandaise but was pretty skimpy on the pulled ham to giant muffin ratio. I had the big boy burrito and was not impressed at all. There were so many hash browns it tasted like all I was eating was a potato burrito, with a side taste of egg. I only had two bites with noticeable chorizo that were super tasty. The salsa was incredible, but I needed more to drown out the taste of potato. We would try it again (mainly for more monkey bread) but would need to have a better experience to make it worth coming from Milwaukee. If it was unimpressive a second time, we probably wouldn't visit again. read more

Everything was above my expectations! I had a rumchata chai and it was so good. We ordered some of the mini donuts, an omelette and the cinnamon roll pancake. I really don't know which of these were the best because they were all amazing. Service was excellent and the apple slices with dip was unexpected but so appreciated. Fantastic addition to the vibrant Downtown Racine breakfast/lunch (and Friday night dinner) scene! Just enjoyed our first meal at The Maple Table and walked away impressed AF. Extensive menu (the one I'm posting is actually the abbreviated version!) and space for all of your personal or business needs: front bar seating overlooking Monument Square, big main dining room, private dining room that would be fantastic for corporate gatherings or small events AND an additional big dining room with views west over Wisconsin Avenue. The coffee was fantastic, to start, and was served alongside complimentary fresh apple slices with homemade maple cream dipping sauce. We followed up with Green Eggs & Toast and Corned Beef Hash, the latter of which James declared amongst "the best he's ever had." I'm very impressed and so glad these small business owners decided to invest in our gorgeous downtown district! Open less than two weeks and yet already rocking the restaurant scene. Have had a couple of lunches and the Friday night fish fry here. All were quite good - lunch sandwich selections include a very good BLT made with thick-sliced bacon. Fish fry (served Friday evenings) features fried or baked cod, coleslaw, potato pancakes and a waffle shaped jalapeno corn bread. I started a new job in downtown Racine today and was treated to a great lunch at The Maple Table. I have to say... I would have loved it even if I'd had to pay for it myself! :) Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy their lunches - or in some cases breakfasts - and the folks who had eaten here before said they'd never had a bad meal here. After lunch, I could believe it. I had a combo of a half Reuben sandwich and half Harvest salad. The salad had a great combo of maple bacon, blue cheese, apples, cranberries, pecans and balsamic dressing. Everything was really fresh and tasty. The Reuben was even better. I wasn't sure about the parmesan crust on the exterior of the bread at first. Thought it was pretty strange... until the first bite - it really worked! Corned beef was great and the pickled red onions were another nice change from the typical Rueben. Overall, an easy five stars for The Maple Table! read more

The white cheddar grits were scooped out with cheese sprinkled on top. Please fix this average preparation of your food. Service is given with a smile from the front desk, to the busser. The wait staff is great and happy. At Halloween, you will be entertained by the artistic costumes worn by everyone. I ordered the chicken and waffles for the first time and was very disappointed. The waffle was very thick and dense, not fluffy at all. The chicken was completely overcooked Our server also forgot the side of fruit that we ordered, and we just had her take it off the bill. My daughter ordered a non spicy Bloody Mary, which was extremely spicy. Also had it taken off. The time before ( 2 weeks prior) we enjoyed the food for the most part but we were served the wrong food for one of the dishes. I know that restaurants are having a hard time with staffing these days, but that's when the owners need to step up and oversee the food that is being sent out.
