Took my girl scouts to do an escape room here. The tomb of the forgotten. The location is a little tricky to find. They are a little hidden. They are across from chuck e cheese and 3 doors down from barwarchi. Corner of prospect and south college. I guess google doesn't always take people to the right spot? The inside waiting area is kind of set up like a movie theater which I thought was unique and pretty cool. Booking was easy. We booked our room in advance online. Right now its still private rooms due to covid. So your group will not be set up with someone else. The site was user friendly and very easy to navigate. The staff was super friendly and helped make the experience fun. The girls got out of the room just before the time went out! I guess this particular room is 50/50. So they were pretty excited. If we were going to do an escape room again we would definitely consider this venue to come back to! read more

I have done a few escape rooms in Fort Collins. This escape room was the most fun I have had yet! We had the Egyptian room and the quest and clues and layout was excellent. From the decor to the way the clues in the process were set up I was very impressed. My children also enjoyed the room and the evening! We will definitely be back for the next escape room. From entering and being greeted by a staff member to the history and review prior to going into the escape room the experience was excellent. We felt like we were VIPs and we were well taken care of. The facility itself is very clean and well organized. The attention to details both outside the escape room and inside are wonderful. If you were looking for an Escape Room in the area I highly recommend Markey. Book ahead and lock in your reservation for an evening of fun and challenge. My friends and I did the "Tomb" Escape Room. There were four of us and our first Escape Room experience. I couldn't believe how quickly the hour went - we were moving fast solving the puzzles. I went with a group of 5 adults and 3 kids and we had a blast! There was a great mixture of difficult puzzles and easier ones so that we all had a part to play. My friend, boyfriend, and brother all went with me to their Alice in Wonderland escape room. There were plenty of puzzles to work on at the same time without all of us working on one, which was neat and allowed each person's strengths to come forward. The theme of the escape room was really solidly focused on from the moment we entered The Markey, with the storefront worker being very in character when presenting the puzzle to us. It had a surprising amount of new places to investigate, and was a great time! We escaped with about 5 minutes to spare! The only reasons this isn't a five star review are the following: I would be a bit concerned with more people in the space, as it was cramped a bit with just four people in there, and while just my boyfriend and I rarely need hints, some of the puzzles weren't as intuitive as other escape rooms (which in some ways was refreshing but others felt like too many clues at once) read more

My coworkers and I did the Tomb of the Forgotten at the Markey and it was so much fun! They had some very unique puzzles I had not seen in an escape room before. We only had to ask for a clue once and ended with 10 minutes and 20 seconds left on the clock. I also enjoyed the atmosphere as we were given flashlights before entering the dimly lit room. What fun this room was! Suzanne gave our group excellent instructions ahead of time, and instructed us how we could ask for a hint if we got stuck. And our group did need to ask for a hint a few times! The room has a lot of attention to detail and a fun back story. It's challenging but not impossible. Highly recommended. read more

It was just the two us trapped in ancient Egypt, trying to solve the puzzles before the sun went down, unfortunately we are still trapped in the tomb. This was a great outing, almost solved it utilizing only a few clues. Variety of puzzles to solve, good props, friendly family business, will be back when the next rooms open! read more
