I saw the Caviar Indulgence Omakase on TikTok and I knew immediately that I had to surprise my mom with this experience for her birthday. I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!

Cute spot to grab a cocktail. It's tiny so can fill up quick depending on the crowd and time of day. Services were excellent. Bar bites available to order in addition to the drink menu and full bar.

Cozy, intimate hotel bar, The Maybourne Bar, is one of my new favorite spots on the Westside! Located inside The Maybourne Beverly Hills Hotel, it's a nice spot for a small group of friends or a pre- or post- dinner date. Service is friendly and fast. Prices are normal West Hollywod prices but the drinks live up to the costs. Every single drink I tried was good, and we ordered the steak carpaccio, which was great, too. I would definitely return!

vivier and juli provided exceptional service at the maybourne bar, an intimate beautiful space with an extensive menu, including the most unique cocktail combinations you could dream of. we ordered a demon slayer and a blonde giraffe, before heading to dinner. the demon slayer was woody and bright, while the blonde giraffe was sweet and creamy. perfect pre-dinner drinks to start a beautiful evening. demon slayer 10/10 blonde giraffe 10/10 beautiful, intimate bar with exceptional service. highly recommend. ambiance: 5/5 food: n/a drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5

My husband, myself and some friends came here for the first time on a Saturday night before heading to dinner (Christmas weekend), around 5:30. The bar is immediately located to your left as soon as you walk thru the front door of the hotel. Right off the bat, you notice how quaint and chic the bar is! The Maybourne has a few seats at the bar and the rest are 2-4 seater tables. 5/5: Service was perfection! The waiter quickly provided water and a nut mix for the table. The staff was also very kind enough to take a few pictures for us as well! 4/5: The drinks were quite good! The menu is unique as well, something for everyone; and they even manually hand stamp your ice cube with the Maybourne logo! *SKYFALL Botanical. Floral. Crisp. $25...Grey Goose * Botanist Gin * Lillet Blanc... My husband loved his drink and normally doesn't go for drinks that have Gin in them. *CROUCHING TIGER Floral. Clean. Refreshing. $25...Kaoliang * ES Soka * Jasmine Syrup * Lime * Aloe Air... I ordered the Crouching Tiger; I wouldn't order this one again only for the sake that the Lime was a bit tart for me. Something about this drink also reminded me of something I had in college (which gave me some type of PTSD!, go figure and not to any fault of the bartender). *LEGENDARY BIRD Silky. Tropical. Effervescent. $27...Appleton 8yr * Campari * Clarified Lime & Pineapple * Champagne * Whey... Sweet and delicious! Overall, despite the cost; I would definitely return!

Wow great date night! The drinks were amazing and the vibe is quiet and intimate perfect to start off your date night :) we enjoyed the snacks they provided and we got the Olympic, Midas and heat culture drinks. The Midas is spicy but the flavor is WOW! Great service from the bartenders and cocktails were immaculate. When you walk in take a left and it's right there by the front door :)

I recall that the hotel bar when it was owned by the Montage was closer to the restaurant and far more spacious and refined. Now the bar is near the reception counter, much smaller, cramped and  looking rather makeshift and provisional.  The friendly, convivial bar manager mentioned that the original bar was being renovated, and that the present space is temporary.  But I'm wondering why not have retained the old Montage Bar when it was perfectly fine, and the Maybourne would have a sophisticated, working bar immediately upon taking over?  Anyway, hope that the new, renovated Maybourne bar will be at least as chic as the one that was the Montage bar.  Started by ordering Roku Japanese Gin with its own proprietary blend of herbs which was refreshing, rich in velvety mouthfeel, smooth, mellow sweetness, complementary aromatic fragrances. The crystal clear cube of ice added to its look of purity.   One can order from the restaurant menu: 1) Their vaunted Fried Chicken is breast meat chicken "fingers". Breast meat, which is often dry and mealy, is moist from brining or a light marinade.  "13 spice blend" was not particularly evident. Covered in crispy Japanese Panko bread crumbs, fried, drizzled with what seems like aged Aceto Balsamico & finely chopped chives. Accompanying agrodolce emulsified sauce on the side. Not bad for chicken fingers, but at $28 a pop, it must help pay for the $450 million purchase price paid by Maybourne.  2) Marquis de Chocolat: " with sour cherry ice cream, whipped amaretto ganache, smoked bitter chocolate sauce". Nice sweet-sour combination of fruity, chocolatey, creamy, almond. Pretty presentation for $18. There is even a pairing of Niepoort 'LBV' Ruby Port 2017 for $13, but I thought sweet on sweet was too much for me that night.  There is a cramped, claustrophobic feeling to this Maybourne bar which I hope will change with the opening of the new bar.  Also, the pre-Pandemic Montage had well seated bartenders who had a more confident, hail-fellow-well-met demeanor that was more engaging. As the new Maybourne staff matures, perhaps there will be a more open, warm hospitality that will be formed. The manager is a good start.  3+ stars

Nice selection of mezcals for Cinco de Mayo

The Montage is now the Maybourne and the bar has moved closer to the lobby. Nonetheless, its a great place to grab a drink before a b'ness event like I did. They have a good selection of mezcals, and the staff is friendly & warm. I have also been here for an after dinner drink and the experience was positive. If you are in the heart of BH on Canon, do yourself and stop by the Maybourne Bar. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice little bar in this gorgeous hidden gem of a hotel in BH. We were looking for somewhere to grab a drink and sit for an hour and saw good reviews of the drinks here. It did not disappoint! Small little lounge area - maybe 12 small tables and a bar. A mix of people meeting to do business and just have a drink on a Thursday late afternoon. Excellent drinks and nice atmosphere. Service was very nice. Hotel looks amazing!

The Maybourne Bar is newish and has been long awaited by residents and locals. It's located to the left, after you valet your Rolls, step inside the hotel main lobby and turn to the left. Must show Proof of Vaccinations card. It's decor is modern and classy. Limited booth seating and small travertine top tables with comfy leather seats. The menu is limited but impressively offers selections for picky dukes and duchesses ;) Service by the staff was professional, knowledgeable and cordial. I'm so glad I can literally walk downstairs from my condo suite and have something special. The bar has half a dozen seats, with cool sexy Buddha lounge music fills the air to seduce you into the mood of relaxation whether you're with a date or flying solo ...santé!

Espresso martini! Ask for "the whitney" made with kahlua and baileys instead .
    Whitney P.

Chris , the bartender makes the best espresso martini's I've ever had. Ask for "the whitney" it has baileys in it. We went here every night while we were in Los Angeles. The ambience and the lighting can't be beat. We will return!

The inside is cosy and casual, and it's a bit romantic. There's usually a nice buzz of people in the late afternoon. This intimate bar first opened in West Hollywood in 2013. The entrance is on the side of a beautiful historic Hollywood Spanish Gothic style building on Westbourne Drive, off Santa Monica Boulevard. You could almost miss it from the street as it's kind of hidden which is definitely part of its charm. About a century ago it was a studio for silent film star Charlie Chaplin and later a library for Sherman, which was the name of West Hollywood before it was incorporated. So this is a beautiful and historic location with a fascinating history, V Wine Room serves about 30 different wines by the glass and a large selection by the bottle, mostly small California wineries from the Napa Valley. The menu also features sparkling wines, natural wines and sakes from small Japanese producers. They have food to accompany the drinks as well: delicious Roman-style pizzas, cheese boards and charcuterie, fish and even chocolate. I've always managed to find free parking on side streets just up the street like on West Knoll for a couple hours, but there's also valet parking right in front and a city parking lot about a block west

I didn't make it here until March 2026 and after my first visit, I'm sorry I didn't come earlier. My husband and I came here on a Sunday night, with a last minute reservation I'd made on Resy. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in around 5:30ish. A lot of the tables were empty. They had both indoor and outdoor dining available, but the majority of the seats were indoor. The ambiance here is dark and chic, it reminded me very much of restaurants in NYC. It would make for a good spot for a date night or girls' night out. We made it here in time to order one thing from their happy hour menu, the tater tots. These were heavy but moreish, it was hard to stop eating them even when my stomach was telling me I was full. We also shared the corn, which I believe may have been a special/seasonal dish. It will go down as one of the best corn dishes I've ever eaten in a restaurant. My husband got the burger for his main and I got the mussels. The mussels were pretty fresh and silky, and were overall excellent, but I didn't love the broth they came in. My husband's burger was fantastic. It's one of the best burgers I've eaten at a restaurant in LA. Service was lovely and efficient. We got water right away and then waited a little bit before our server was able to get over to take our drink orders. We had Bloody Marys along with the Prosecco that came with brunch, and both were yummy. For the first course, we got one of each option for the table: the bacon-wrapped dates, fruit, and walnut sticky bun. ALL delicious. They ended up coming out at the same time as our entrées, which were omelettes and chicken and waffles. Some people might not love the timing, but honestly, we didn't mind at all. We just grazed on everything together and enjoyed the whole table. It seemed like there was one server handling pretty much the entire dining room, and he was working his ass off. We let him know that we could see how much he was juggling and that we were perfectly happy being patient. Even though he was clearly slammed, he regularly did fly-bys to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. Dine LA is hectic, and he was doing his best to keep up with a very busy room. Thankfully, they were also participating in the Dine LA event! I believe it was around $30 per person, which was honestly a pretty good deal. I loved the food and our server was amazing. However, I unfortunately didn't love the service from the host. We had a reservation for 12:30 PM, and we were seated outside (mind you it was like over 90 degrees). I normally wouldn't mind outdoor seating but it was WAY too hot in their outdoor area, even with the mesh covering. They definitely need to invest in some misters/fans, especially during the summer (it's also 2026). I asked the host if we could be moved indoors since I could visibly see multiple open seats. She told me no because those seats were reserved for "4 people," which didn't really make sense to me when I could literally see with my own two eyes that several of the indoor tables were occupied by parties of two. When I pointed that out, she didn't really have anything to say back. The whole interaction honestly left a bad impression of the restaurant as a whole. I don't want to assume anything, but it did make me question whether racial identity may have played a part in how we were treated, especially after noticing that the guests seated inside appeared to be non-POC. I ended up asking the host AGAIN if we could please be moved inside because I genuinely couldn't bear the heat anymore, and she was finally able to accommodate us with an indoor seating. Also, especially on busy weekends and during events like Dine LA, I think they should consider having two hosts instead of just one. It seemed like a lot for one person to manage. Overall, the food was really good and our server was great, but the hosting experience and outdoor seating situation definitely could've been better.
