Heard about this place from Fort Worth Foodies on Facebook so I had to give it a try. Ordered the wagyu tri-tip and German sausage...WOW! On a side note, Ty provided excellent customer service by coming out to our car to receive payment and deliver order, he even sanitized my credit card for me. We were down the road wanting a chopped beef sandwich and we didn't feel good about the looks of the menu. So we opened Yelp and saw we were a mile away and they had great reviews. First time enjoying lunch at this place. We wandered in a little after 2p and when I told the guy at the counter we were eating lunch here, he turned around and told the kitchen "don't turn that off yet we have another lunch order". That in itself is rare. I had the hot dog and OMG it was great! Everything is locally sourced so I am told as well as made fresh in house. It was an f-ing hot dog but the quality is the details. Dog- Kobe, chili- spicy and meaty, onions and chili peppers check, cheese- sharp, soft, freshly grated. This is not your father's hot dog joint. Btw they also make chips in house that are very good as well. This place was also extremely clean and orderly. The staff attentive and courteous. What a neat concept! Freshly made food for a reasonable price right inside a premium butcher market. I had a delicious mixed greens salad that had feta and dried cranberries and amazing candies pecans with a nice mild balsamic vinaigrette- topped it with steak . 1st time here & will definitely be back. Today I tried the signature grilled steak sandwich very delicious. Seasoned perfectly & blue cheese crumbles were spot on. My friend had the hot dog which she raved about the added chili tied it all together. Bonus the owner personally visited with us. I always appreciate that extra touch of making sure guests are happy. For openers, they have the most beautiful selections one could ever hope for, but they are incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic to help you with your selection. I wanted to be schooled about beef rib plates, and while not a novice, I wanted to be fully knowledgeable before I cooked. I can't wait to see how they come out! Picked up a great 1.5" ribeye today and we just had the most delicious dinner! The staff are all extremely friendly AND knowledgeable. I can't wait to get a wagyu strip next time they're in stock.
