Quite possibly the best spicy chicken sandwich Ive ever had. Crispy flavorful with a good kick. Literally had me savoring every bite. The bacon cheddar ranch fries made the perfect contrast to each spicy bite. The dining room was spotless. Melt has a chill laidback vibe that makes me feel very comfortable. But the absolute star of my visit was Lee. From the time i walked in, to my first bite until i walked out the door to leave. Stellar. Customer. Service. Checked in on every single diner multiple times. Anticipated what people needed almost like magic. Working the dining room floor and flawlessly jumping from one task to another. it was pretty amazing to watch actually. Ive worked in the food industry for 15 years and have been a manager for 10 of them so id like to think i know what im talking about. The BEST burger in the Bay Area! I had Swiss and Mushroom burger and garlic parm fries. The burger was so juicy and while I thought ranch would not work well, it was the perfect condiment. I have to write something that doesn't seem right. The picture on the kiosk doesn't sell. The sweet potatoes fries look so greasy and old. The chicken sandwich so greasy and fatty. I order both because I was hungry. I don't like greasy food but whatever. When I saw the fries, it looks so fresh and yummy. When I bite into it, crunchy and delicious. The chicken sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. It looks so refreshing. I couldn't take any pictures, I ate it so fast. My only complaint is look at your kiosk pictures, replace it with how the food looks. Food is excellent, picture not so much. read more

The food was good, I got the western bacon burger and sampled my son's Mac & cheese, but I was disappointed that fries didn't come with the burgers. You have to order them separately. Came here for the community day. It's a very nice location with inside and outside dining areas. The employees are friendly and although it was busy my order was ready within a few minutes. Had a great lunch at The Melt today! The staff is welcoming and helpful. I had the Italian Job sandwich (cheese with grilled mushrooms on spicy garlic bread) and french fries. Sandwich had gooey cheese and lots of grilled mushrooms. I can't say I tasted a lot of garlic on the bread, but it was perfectly toasted. Fries are delicious, too, - thin, nicely spiced. The outdoor eating space is perfect -- fully covered so you are sheltered from hot sun or rain. What a wonderful addition to downtown Sunnyvale! read more

You can immediately tell that the ingredients in the food are top quality. My go to is the Spicy Mission Melt Burger with a fried egg.
