If I could give 0 stars at this restaurant, I would. The food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered a bbq burger and my food was undercooked. I asked for their melt sauce on the side and the employee in the front stated they did not have any & the only condiments they had was ketchup but later noticed that they handed out sauce to customers after me. The music was way too loud and we had to clean our table ourselves because none of the employees were cleaning the table. They were all extremely negative & even a simple Hi or asking if we had a question about the menu at the counter was not the standard at this location. This was my first time at this location & it will be the last. The rivermark location is way better. read more

The chicken bacon garlic Mac was alright but it had way too much garlic it made me feel nauseous the more I ate it. The water had a CO2 leak so it tasted nasty. The homemade ranch was mid. Milkshake was great though and we did enjoy the patio seating. We gave this place a try likely won't be back though read more

Dined in at the new one in Sunnyvale CA. Dinged 2 stars because employees are still (in this day & age AND in CA) still gender labeling people. The server outside AND the guy taking orders behind the counter referred to us as "ladies" several times and I do not identify as a "lady". This could all be rectified if you tell your staff to start greeting & addressing people in gender neutral terms. Such as, How is everyone today? Hello everyone, Hello or Hi folks, Hello friends, Hi there, how many in your party? Hi, how are we today? Greetings, how is everyone? And, just say "enjoy your meals" without adding a gender tag. Why do your servers feel they need to add genders to everything? No need to alienate people. Come on Melt, you can do better. Food was good. Expected to get a burger that looks like the burger picture at the counter where you order. It was oozing with melty cheese. Did not come out looking that way. BUT, it was juicy and good. Paid $1.99 extra for spinach and got literally two leaves of spinach. No joke. To be fair, I like to load my sandwich with all the add-ons, but if they are going to charge you for each add-on, maybe put more than two leaves of spinach. I'm sure the cooks making this stuff would also be upset if they went to a restaurant and were charged extra and were given two tiny leaves. It's insulting. Also we sat outside last night and there was a vagrant standing and watching us eat the entire time. We ended up having to call Sunnyvale PD which never arrived. Don't fall for the "free fries" scam when ordering. On the checkout it says sign up and get free fries. It says nothing about downloading app to sign up. At the restaurant they said I had to go through the app. I opened up the website again as if I was ordering. It did recognize me and said I now qualify for free fries, but then I ordered a chicken sandwich and it says I did not meet the minimum purchase to get the free fries. I am just traveling through town and my son was upset he did not get fries. If it says get free fries it should apply on the first order if not the checkout page should make that clear! read more

Hip vibes and a casual dining spot with covered tables outside. Great food, especially if you like a Philly cheese steak and Mac n cheese. The noodles weren't mushy like so many other places. Their spicy sauce isn't just spicy, it also has great flavor. They were quick to clear tables and brought some cookies for everyone around the dining room to sample. The BEST burger in the Bay Area! I had Swiss and Mushroom burger and garlic parm fries. The burger was so juicy and while I thought ranch would not work well, it was the perfect condiment. Quite possibly the best spicy chicken sandwich Ive ever had. Crispy flavorful with a good kick. Literally had me savoring every bite. The bacon cheddar ranch fries made the perfect contrast to each spicy bite. The dining room was spotless. Melt has a chill laidback vibe that makes me feel very comfortable. But the absolute star of my visit was Lee. From the time i walked in, to my first bite until i walked out the door to leave. Stellar. Customer. Service. Checked in on every single diner multiple times. Anticipated what people needed almost like magic. Working the dining room floor and flawlessly jumping from one task to another. it was pretty amazing to watch actually. Ive worked in the food industry for 15 years and have been a manager for 10 of them so id like to think i know what im talking about.
