I was looking to rent, but it seems they strongly encourage purchasing the items. Certain items would've costed more to rent than to buy! Although I did like the items, ultimately I felt for the price I could buy a brand new item. Renting for me was the eco-friendly route, and purchasing an expensive one time wear just didn't make sense. I would come back here again for vintage digs but I would probably focus on more casual and everyday pieces. The staff was helpful and it was definitely worth going right when they opened. They helped me accessorize with shoes and gave jewelry options. They soon started getting busy and had to help other guests. I did experience a little of the personality of the owner that other reviewers commented on - but I think it's part of the charm, right?

They received the product and told me that I will not receive refund because the product looks like it was used. I told them that I had not used it. They said they never accept any used product returns so it's impossible that I would have received a product like that. So I told them to send it back to me since I paid for it. They won't even do that. So basically I paid $27 for their product that I don't even have. Tim Vargas and Ben Johansen are the managers I guess. They clearly do not care about customer service. As soon as you walk inside, you are immersed in the "Spirit of Halloween". There are decorations everywhere, big and small. This location, in particular, used to be a Toys R Us, so it feels very open and well lit... almost like a Halloween fair of some kind. Some of the bigger decorations are very detailed, very creepy, and motion activated. You can step in front of them for an extra scare. In terms of products, the store is very well organized with very clearly labeled sections. There are tons of costumes for adults and kids alike. There's even a few sections for the more "adult" themed things. You know... the typical sexy swamp creature and stuff. It's honestly amazing what you can make sexy these days. They have full costumes, but they also have an entire section full of wigs and other accessories so you can put together your own thing. There's even a dressing room in the store. The employees are very friendly and always walking around seeing if you need help with anything. They also have a good amount of fan merch. I ended up getting a really cool looking Assassins creed jacket for a friend who's big into the game. Stranger Things is obviously very popular this year, and they have a whole section on that too. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Not only is it pretty much everything you could hope a Halloween store would be, but I have the added benefit of living right across the street from here. I'm going to be sad to see it leave in a month, but while it's here, I'm taking full advantage of what it has to offer.

Upon arriving to Volcano Bay, I immediately went to the Sales/Tickets counter to purchase Mom's and my tickets. I wanted to purchase the tickets with gift cards I had. Gift cards can only be used on site and can not be redeemed online. (I was also able to pay for parking at Universal with one of the gift cards.) Lockers are, of course, available for rent. It was 7 of us so we got a family locker. That didn't work. We had to rent another family locker to hold all our stuff. The family lockers are not big enough if you have multiple bags. Some of the staff are cool. We encountered one team member who greeted almost everyone in the Kopiko Wai Winding River (lazy river). Every time we winded back around to where he sat overlooking and safeguarding the river he spoke. His attitude was hospitable and refreshing.

In all seriousness, Typhoon Lagoon is one of my favorite water parks. The wave pool is fantastic, and Castaway Creek--the lazy river--is wonderfully relaxing. There are plenty of rides for thrill-seekers, while the entire park is beautifully themed around the aftermath of a tropical storm. Even the walking paths are thoughtfully designed, with little water sprayers keeping the pavement damp so your feet don't feel as though they're marching across the surface of the sun. There are plenty of dining and drinking options throughout the park, and the atmosphere is cheerful, immersive, and unmistakably Disney. The after-hours event is also a tremendous amount of fun, especially with the park illuminated at night. Seeing the slides, palm trees, wave pool, and storm-tossed scenery glowing after sunset gives the place an entirely different personality--almost as if the typhoon itself has returned from beyond the grave. Whether you want to relax, ride some excellent attractions, float along the lazy river, or be spiritually cleansed by a six-foot wave before receiving complimentary Dippin' Dots from a benevolent ghost, Typhoon Lagoon is well worth visiting.

I had peeked into Artroom several times finally last year I signed up for a class - the format was really nice ( adult oil ) first weeks all newbies were given a beginners project and Linda walked us through it in detail sharing wonderful tips that I did not even get from Valencia professors - no offense - most importantly her expertise in teaching and reading the class is incredible - she knows each student their capabilities strengths individually and coaches accordingly - giving honest constructive feedback in a very warm manner. People joke that it is a lot cheaper than therapy and works even better. After the initial project everyone works on a project they want and Linda coaches everyone individually on their projects finding bringing resources - recommending references. It is a group class so this level of individualism surprised me in a good way. My only regret is that I did not find artroom sooner

Let me save you money. I would not recommend this school for any child learning to swim. I truly…read morewanted to love this program, but there was too many things about this program that were problematic. 1) NOT EFFECTIVE: I spent about $800 and my child still can't swim. My child was in this program for 7 months. Granted, he has made minuscule progress. Nothing close to being able to swim. This program is designed to be progressive, when your child reaches a milestones they progresses to the next level. However, most of the class is spent acclimating my child to the water by dunking him underwater. It's a 30 minute class. The downside being it's a group setting, so how much time your kid gets training is based on how many kids are in the class. So 5 or 6 kids show up, your kids gets maybe 5 minute of attention from the instructor unless you're in the pool with them taking the initiative to follow along with the instructor. We stayed as long as we did, because we liked the instructor my child had, His name was Mateo. But overall, the way the program progressed over several months it still wasn't worth the money. 2) POOL ISSUES and LATE NOTICE: The pool has issues often. Resulting in cancelled classes. Several times a month, mostly the beginning of the week. Seemingly mostly Mondays. I'm thankful they regularly check to ensure safety for the children. The problem is sometimes I'm in the parking lot or almost there from my hour commute, met with a voicemail 20 minutes or less before the class starts letting me know it's cancelled due to pool related complications. On a good day 30 minutes notice. The pool belongs to a gym, so it's shared with all gym members. Some just stare at the kids. The first lane is reserved for the swim school. The water is always freezing cold. And the swim school members aren't allowed in locker rooms/ bathrooms. They can only use one single family stall on the other side of the gym. Changing stations are 3 small tents near the pool. 3) COMMUNICATION: Communication is poor. I've gotten different information from multiple employees on the same questions. I cancelled classes in person. I was later charged for the following month. To find out, cancellations can only be done over the phone or by email. I wanted to complete the makeup classes I had in my British swim school app. I paid for these classes already, but I could only complete them if I was still enrolled. Any makeups would cost $10 each. The staff shows no accountability and customer service is vastly underwhelming. In conclusion, Not worth enrolling. One on one private lessons would benefit your child in the long run. $30 a lesson seems like a steal rather than a lump sum, but ultimately , your child is learning less and paying more overtime.

Normally, I wouldn't wait to take a photo with a character when the wait time is more than 30-mins. Yup, half an hour is my threshold max that is why I have no photos with any characters at Magic Kingdom (Day 1). When we saw that the wait time to take a photo with Mickey and Minnie was 30 minutes here at their exploration headquarters (aka Adventurers Outpost) we went inside for the photo op. It would be our first character photo. Mickey and Minnie are dressed in their safari outfits. Inside, the walls are adorned with memories from Mickey and Minnie's expeditions around the world, including pictures from their trips to destinations at the mountains of Nepal and the savannas of Africa. A staff member was kind enough to take photos with my phone and she captured some nice ones including my hug with Minnie. That photo is actually my favorite. Ariel looks weird, mainly in the face…read more While I still enjoyed this ride and thought it was fun, the overall quality of the animatronics was a step below most other rides at Disney World. I thought maybe that was because this ride opened around the same time as the movie in 1989. However, I was a bit surprised to learn after the fact that this ride actually opened 23 years after the movie, in late 2012. On the ride, you board clamshells that take you on an adventure under the sea. Pretty much all the characters from the movie make an appearance and the ride is filled with Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's popular songs like "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," "Poor Unfortunate Souls," and "Kiss the Girl." The "Under the Sea" song and dance segment is bright and colorful. It reminds me of going to E.T.'s planet in the E.T. Adventure ride at Universal Studios. It's a festive party; both rides have that neon-colored, crowded "creature party" aesthetic. During our visit, the animatronic Ariel in this section was broken and inanimate. Kind of funny and creepy. During the "Kiss the Girl" segment, the plastic water coming out of the fishes' mouths didn't look great. It added to the overall sort of "knock-off" and kitschy look of the ride. Also, right before the end of the final scene with King Triton and the wedding of Ariel and Eric, the ride stopped on us. So, I was able to get a good, long look at the different animatronics and scenery. Finally, I thought the transitions between the high-quality video and the actual practical physical ride props were a bit jarring. Other rides do it better like, for example, the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. We had Lightning Lane passes at around 1:47 PM on a non-holiday Monday and experienced no line and no wait.

It is a slow moving ride that goes on a flat track and will move your clamshell 365 degrees, as well as going backwards and tipping backwards as well. It does not spin fast and as someone who gets motion sickness, you should be fine. The seat has a lap bar for the entire row and is not comfortable at all. It is a very hard bench. I find this ride becoming more of a favorite probably since it is super cute and the line is never very long. The line can get long at times, but I recommend waiting until the wait drops below 20 minutes. The line starts outside which has little shade and is very hot in the summer, but then moves inside, where the majority of the line is. Inside it is covered and much cooler. It is actually really dark inside and my eyes always have to adjust. This ride is very colorful, very musical and very fun. If you know this movie, you are going through the story quickly. There are a few dark areas throughout the ride as well as a couple of loud parts. This rides also "stops" as well. There is not a time we have been on this that it did not have a stop for a a minute or so. This ride is designed for children, however, as an adult, it is becoming a favorite of mine. It is nice long ride, that you can sit and relax. This is a must go in the summer for us! Cool, AC, sitting down, sign me up! I would recommend this ride but only when the line is 20 minutes or less. Otherwise, wait and come back later.
