I went for lunch at 3 pm on a Wednesday so it was pretty quiet. The staff were mostly young women, my server was sweet, not super attentive but it was nice. They have a happy hour 3-5 where some appetizers are half off. So I tried the deviled eggs. The Ambiance gives off this sexy and upscale vibe. Great place to take someone on a date if you are trying to impress them. Not sure what it feels like with people in it but the decor and furnishings were nicer than some of the other local restaurants. I ordered the seared salmon and deviled eggs. Seared salmon - 4/10 The salmon was pretty good and not fatty, but it was covered in the burre blanc sauce that totally over powered it. It made it flavorful but salty. The quinoa on the side was a large serving and it was probably good that it was a little bland so it balanced out the salmon. Now... I love Brussels sprouts but these were not it. The seasoning and the texture was all off. Not good. I did end up eating all of the salmon and quinoa. Deviled eggs - 2/10 Not seasoned well. They simply tasted like hard boiled eggs with paprika. I am not sure if I just ordered things that were not great or if I came in on an off day but I wouldn't suggest coming here to eat. But I would come and sit at the bar on a date. The server said that their pastas were great and their burgers. She also said their seafood was good. So if there is a next time I would try their burger but definitely not these 2 dishes.

We were looking for a place to go in for a happy hour or a quick drink before dinner and went into The Metropolitan. The place is nice and spacious inside. We ordered a few drinks and a few appetizers - like other places, they did not have the appetizer we ordered from the menu, so we chose something else. For a drink and an appetizer, the Metropolitan is okay.

    Prime rib

Friends made reservations for a group to celebrate their daughter graduating from UW. When we arrived we were told that they were just hit with a very large group. We were told that our orders would not be placed for at least a 1/2 hour from our reservation time. We were fine with the delay and were seated. The wait staff (Jazlyn?) were friendly and attentive. We ordered drinks and appetizers which arrived in a timely manner. Our orders for the main course were taken at the time delay they told us. Our table of three ordered the same meal, prime rib. One was ordered medium, while mine and my wife's were ordered medium rare. Our food arrived in a timely manner. When I cut into my prime rib it was not medium rare. It was well done. I figured they might have mixed it with the other order at the table. When all three of us cut into our prime rib they were all cooked to well done. The fingerlings and asparagus were spot on. We ate our prime rib. It was tough and flavorless. To top it off, our table finished our meal before three in our group got their much more simple meal.

    Lemon Shrimp Pasta

Definitely came to the best place in town. Great ambiance, intimate lighting, and excellent service. Couldn't decide on apps so we got it all. For dinner I had the lemon shrimp pasta. Washed it all down with an old fashion that was so good I had to order two.

We had a quick lunch and all items were pretty good. The burger was better than the Spinach Artichoke dip, but both hit the spot, along with the unlimited lemonade. Nice waitress as well.

Black cod is phenominal! Get it.

The miso black cod is lights out. Ths best I,ve had, period. I would sub mashed potatoes for rice. The service top notch, the calamari and mozzatella and house wine cannot be beat. Cannot wait to come back!

One of the best restaurants in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Portion sizes are great and loved the dessert. Everything is very fresh and tasty too.

In terms of romance and ambience, this modern chic eatery will make you forget you're in little Cheyenne Wyoming. The dark elegant dining room and bar look like something from New York or San Francisco. I was solo so just grabbed a bar seat, and was served a by a busy but very friendly barman. $17 Prime Rib Dip...a sizeable portion of tasty sliced prime rib in a French roll, nothing more except the juicy au jus dip. Meaty deliciousness, but didn't have a "wow" factor. I subbed out fries for salad as I was watching my belly size, salad was good enough with a variety of dressings to choose from. I was here for brunch, but I imagine dinner would be great.

Power bowl w/ half portion salmon
    Elle L.

I love the power bowls here so much I simply cannot order anything else. Today I got it with salmon and it was chefs kiss! I ordered a half portion of the salmon and was surprised it was small, but before I could say anything my waiter brought a plate with double the amount because he felt bad that it was so small.

    Bison Pasta (half portion)
    Julian V.

The food here is so good! As is the ambience and decor, and the service. The manager was super sweet, she was the best. We had the spinach and artichoke dip which was great, the deviled eggs, grilled cheese with tomato soup, and our favorite the bison pasta! It's in a tomato vodka type sauce. Delicious.

Strawberry tequila fizz and blackberry mule

Great restaurant! We went for lunch and had the salmon and the bison pasta and the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. The salmon was phenomenal along with the drinks! The bison pasta was a unique dish but still great! The spicy sausage complimented with the sweeter pasta sauce made a great lunch! Our server was very friendly and attentive and I never felt like I was looking for her. I did love the vibe of this place. It feels upscale but casual enough to pop in for lunch or dinner.

The meal was delicious, only problem was it wasn't served hot enough. Needless to say, when we mentioned it to Sherrie, who runs T-Joes & makes sure everything is served to perfection, she brought us steaming hot servings, including plenty for a meal to take home. I would have been happy if she'd just put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Needless to say, the meal was delicious, and the take-home plate was an added bonus heated-up at home the next day... T-Joes is our "to go place" for a good prime rib, steak, shrimp & hamburgers. They also have a nice full bar that serves great drinks. Sherrie & her crew make sure their patrons are happy with their food & service. Great place to gather for special occasions like birthdays, graduation, or any other excuse to celebrate. They also fix "to go" boxes which I get to take to the ranch for a nice evening meal. We consider ourselves lucky to have T-Joes in our area for our "go to" place.

Despite coping with…read moreownership changes, fires, Covid shutdowns and bad economies, this restaurant is a survivor. The decor is part rustic, part casual, part strange, but very comfortable in a cozy way. It's probably as close to "fine dining" as you'll find in the Cheyenne area, with a high-end "country club" menu that doesn't look like it has changed much in 65 years. I mean, where else would you find Frog Legs in a Rocky Mountain restaurant with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Perry Como on the background music? Steaks, chops, chicken, fish & shrimp will give any diner an array of choices. Everything we ordered was really very good (see pictures), not spectacular, but taste and quality was well worth the price. And, the bar knows how to mix great cocktails! Plus, service was OUTSTANDING, with our waitress, Cheyenne (seriously), who could not have been more helpful & pleasant all evening. Bottom line: I'm giving Little Bear Inn 4 solid stars, with one caveat if you'd like to get to 5 stars: I'm asking management to do a little more on plate presentation. The food is great, but it's served as if we are in a cafeteria, with no thought in the kitchen to making it "look pretty" before it gets to the table. I'm sure the kitchen can do better with some effort. A little more attention to making your dishes look as good as they taste would go a long way to keeping customers happy. I'll definitely be back, but I'm hoping for just a little more effort in dish presentation.

We told the host 4 times how many people was in our party and they kept saying the wrong number. We sat down ordered drinks. They came fast. Then asked for recommendations. Got lunch recommendations. Then after we placed our order including their recommendations they told us they're not serving lunch for 20 more minutes if it's ok if we wait for the order to be put in. That was awkward and uncomfortable but we waited it out. Though my daughter ordered off the kids menu , the only menu provided to her and it was breakfast items. So her waffles came out first then she waited 15/20 minutes for our food to come out to eat with us. Her food said it came with strawberries and whip cream. It took 3 trips to get her order delivered properly. I will say the food was delicious. It was weird though when we got the check that we were up charged for regular fries with our burger and the bacon for my daughters waffles. The server asked her with her waffles if she wanted bacon or sausage without sharing it was an upcharge. That's my fault for not reading the menu. Though I do believe when you are offering an item you should tell the guest their is an up-charge for that item. Then when asked what sides come with the burger she said fries, salad or chips. I chose fries. Then when bill came I saw the fries were an upcharge. When waters were refilled it was spilled all over the table. Cup should have been removed from table to refill not pour over. Food was great ! Service was very disorganized though their personalities were good . The food isn't good enough to make me want to give them a second chance with the service provided
