Excellent Mexican restaurant with so many options. We visited twice during the holidays. We ate once in the main dining area and once in the bar area. Great service in both areas. Chips and salsa were served in large bowls with fast refills! Good beer selection and great margaritas. Huge place with their own parking. This is so nice. We will be back soon. read more

Just moved up to the Temecula area and we were excited to try out this Mexican restaurant that from the outside looks very appealing and clean. Was definitely impressed when we came inside and sat down but everything from that point forward was terrible. Probably the worst Mexican food I think I've ever experienced dining in a restaurant. Ok, went to the Mexico Cafe and very disappointed. Loved the one in San Bernardino and frequented it often. Got chili relleno and shredded beef taco and both dry, tasteless, and not enjoyable. The refried beans were a saving grace as I had to take a scoop with each bite to have any taste. The chili relleno was barely filled with cheese and they used a corn tamale like batter, 1/4 thick on the chili. No sauce at all. Taco was street size and lots of lettuce and each bite shattered the shell showering pieces across my plate. Hubs had a Carnitas burrito and again was super dry, no taste except a sweetness which is odd in a burrito. He spread it out and there were small pieces of pineapple in it. He also liked the refried beans best along with the warm fresh chips they serve when you arrive. Place was large with good separation of tables and very clean. When we entered we were greeted by hostess wearing a mask and I saw a few others in masks but the servers were maskless which was confusing. read more

Came here a few week ago for the first time to try their brunch. I have to say, I was very impressed. They have huge selection of mexican food and the price was good for the amount and selection you can chose from. The resturant looked very clean besides the restroom which looked like it was previously flooded with water. My husband ordered Carneasada cheese fries with no sour cream because he's allergic. They came with the sour cream on top. He said he asked for no sour cream, so they apologized and took it to be remade. They brought it back, it was obvious they just scraped the sour cream off and added more cheese because you could still see the sour cream under the new cheese! When we told Manager all she did would take it off the bill. He literally said he's allergic. If it were my restaurant I'd offer the entire bill off. We didn't even have that much food! The Carneasada fries are just an appetizer! I ordered chicken enchilada and my son a kids cheeseburger. It was handled all wrong!!! Will not be back! Plus, usually when we come, we have amazing service. This time, she took forever with drinks, then, she stood there talking to other table with our drinks on her tray. So frustrating! read more

What can I say had a few customers rave about this place. But what a let stopped by for lunch around 1:15pm and it took an hour and twenty-five minutes to be seated and get our food and drinks. Service was super slow the bus boy moved the fastest. Food was average at best three of us ordered the same item and each plate came out different???? When I asked what happened to the drink, I got a reply of " I thought someone had brought it to you. " The iced tea I ordered had no ice , there were no napkins of any kind and no silverware. Food was OK, not memorable, . The drink was supposed to be 50% off due to Happy Hour but could not get an itemized bill and what I did pay seemed about $5 to high. Overall, a big disappointment. We came for a second time to this restaurant yesterday. Lacie was our server and gave us outstanding service. Started out being knowledgeable of the menu and just got better from there. We lacked nothing, she had extra napkins, glasses full and condiments refilled before even thinking about it. Great attitude the entire time and gave great recommendations. The food there is good and the atmosphere is nice. It's a new place with a light and bright vibe with outdoor seating if you'd prefer. Many different styles and flavors of salsa to choose from and their tortillas, both flour and corn are fantastic. I liked the corn the best as they were a little thicker than I'd ever had and it made them extra great in my opinion. We will be back for more good food and great service. read more

Outstanding Mexican restaurant in Temecula! Wife & I tried on recommendation of our daughter. Simply great service by Gabby, Jeanette, and the rest of the staff. I had the carne asada & shrimp, and wife had the carne con chile combo, which is chile Colorado and chile verde. We also ordered the handmade corn and flour tortillas. For drinks, we had the Skinny, and Cadillac Margaritas, but upgraded to better tequila- and there wasn't a horrendous up-charge. We also got a sampler of various fresh salsas, which were excellent. There was MORE than enough food for leftovers, so we'll have to go back again to try dessert. read more
