Again, I priorly asked the hostess and waiter if it was okay I sit for 20 min. Before they close. I feel like I want to puke now. Idc about professional service, or whatever it's called. I communicated that I would've found another place if they just told me that they're not taking sitters. Not nice. Never returning again. Edit: The reason why I felt like puking was because I was glared at while feeling bad about scarfing down my meal faster than I anticipated. I took home my Mac and cheese short rib and I am on my 3rd attempt at finishing it! My son's burrito was so large I wasn't sure how he was going to get that in his mouth. He was able to eat most of it. The home fries were nicely prepared and seasoned well! Our drink glasses were never empty. I watched the staff and they were constantly engaging with customers. You felt like you were visiting a friend's home. I watched them celebrate someone's birthday, greet regular customers and every customer was given a warm acknowledgment. This place deserves all the hype it receives and I'm sad it has taken me so long to try it!

What I had cannot be reheated. She said well I'll leave it here because I'm throwing it out either way. Crepes with fruit on top just don't reheat well! At the point that the manager finally came by to bring the food my friends were 90% done with their meals! Everytime I looked at this manager she was on her cell phone, talking, texting or staring at it. I went to the bathroom and came out of the stall and the manager was doing talk to text in the bathroom. Perhaps if she stayed off her phone orders wouldn't be getting screwed up or patrons would not be sat at dirty sticky tables! Her whole attitude and demeanor ruined our whole experience there. She truly didn't seem to care. My friends picked at my dish but I was too annoyed to eat. I have eaten at Toast in Patchogue and Bayshore and enjoyed both experiences on every occasion that I have been there. I have eaten at this Toast three different times and every time I have left disappointed by the service but this is by far the worst! For all that aggravation she took my meal off and that was it. This place is disgusting. I ordered a rancid shrimp dinner, and when I complained to the manager, he had the nerve to tell me, no refunds because "only one shrimp was rotten". If you are going to tell me my dish is fine because "only one shrimp" was rancid, then your establishment is seriously lacking integrity. They're simply desperate. Rotten standards, in a run down dive, really sums this place up. When the waitress can't recommend one good entrée, on a menu with over 100 dishes, you know there's a problem. I really can't understand some of the negative reviews!! I have been going to the Millenium Diner for many years, (practically the start) and have never had a bad experience. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive to the needs of the customers, and the food has always been exceptional whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner! The Millennium Diner is a favorite of ours whenever we are on Long Island. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast, friendly and accommodating. The interior feels very chic and urban, unlike a lot of other diners. We have eaten here for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night and have always enjoyed it.
