She is not seeing you simply as a scheduled appointment (this unfortunately was my experience with others prior to Tagi) but as a caring friend who genuinely wants to see you glow the day of and after your facial treatment. Her routines are customized depending on skin type and she always makes a new assessment of your skin before she begins any treatment. I work with my hands for a living, and my nails genuinely needed proper cleaning and prep before tips were applied. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly ask for basic prep work while being made to feel uncomfortable for speaking up. The tips were then applied with excessive glue/product underneath the nails, leaving thick chunks underneath that make the nails difficult to properly clean. When I expressed concern, I was told the glue "had to be there" to make the nails strong. I have been getting my nails done for decades and have never had a technician argue with me for not wanting large globs of hardened glue underneath my nails. When I said I wanted to stop the service, I was told "let me fix it," but the issues were never actually corrected. The nail lengths and shapes were inconsistent, the filing/shaping was uneven, and there were visible imperfections, debris, and rough edges throughout the work. I also had concerns about sanitation. The UV lamp being used appeared dirty and damaged, and the drill/e-file bits looked visibly unclean between clients, which made me increasingly uncomfortable during the appointment. She paid close attention to every detail, especially my request to retain length, and was always transparent about how much she was cutting, which I really appreciated. She was also so easy to talk to and incredibly thoughtful, constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable, whether that meant offering coffee or water or making sure nothing hurt. Her scalp massage while washing my hair felt heavenly and truly elevated the experience, making it feel so luxurious. In addition to her amazing work, the location itself was beautiful, clean, and such a lovely space to be in, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved my haircut, and Shannon made me feel beautiful not only through the cut itself but also through her kind compliments and care throughout the appointment. After the consultation, they asked for a $200 deposit through zelle (later realizing it's weird they only accept zelle) My appointment took 5 1/2 hours including removing the korean style braid in extensions i had in my hair. Which they forgot to tell me is an extra $100 to remove. I asked about the ads i saw on instagram and how it said in the ad that first time clients receive 20% off. She said to give her a moment. She was talking to the owner who was next to her in russian but never mentioned anything back to me. At the end of my appointment when it was time to pay, i mentioned the discount again. She tried calling the owner and she didnt pick up and just told me "no we dont have that here" i even found the ad and showed it to her. Also never got that "good discount" i was told id get either. I specifically asked for more volume as my hair is pretty thin and when i grab my hair with all the extensions in, it is so thin! Also the extensions dont feel like real human hair...or good quality for that matter. The moment i got in my car i just gently ran my fingers through my hair and a bunch of hair (extensions) came out. I just got this done yesterday and the extensions are coming out nonstop. This is ridiculous. What did i pay over $1500 for. I dont even want to go back for it to be fixed. Will be finding another place to get it removed and fixed. I feel scammed

I was charged for "extended" root touch-up, despite the fact that I touch up my roots every two weeks and only ever have two weeks of growth which needs to be touched up. Hmmm. 2. Syuzan would ALWAYS try to upsell me on all kinds of things, including trying to convince me to switch from my current nail place, get facials from the aesthetician (who by the way was a grouchy lady who seemed to just hate me for no reason, even though I never even spoke to her or got any services from her), etc. 3. I would have to remind Syuzan what my hair color was, and she also struggled with cutting my hair. One time, she said that she needed to make sure all my hair was black, and went off to mix color. I told her that my hair has NEVER been black. One time, she hacked my hair too short, then another time, she barely cut anything, and I had to go back in to have her correct the cut. I just got tired of the miscommunication, hidden charges and upselling. There are other places I can go, where I don't have to struggle with communication and get all these distressing extra charges.
