I was recently back at the Grateful Goat while I was out of town for work. Unfortunately this place fell off a bit since the last time I visited. Some of the food didn't look or taste fresh (I.e. the beer cheese) and the homemade tots that I ordered did not taste like tater tots at all. A coworker had to send her spaghetti and meatballs back because the meatballs were burnt to a crisp. I am surprised they even served them in the first place. The service was just okay as well. Attended a work happy hour event here with about 50 people in the back room. It was brightly lit and spacious, with TVs all around the room on sports channels. Thank goodness! I was SUPER IMPRESSED by the staff that managed to keep up with drinks in this horde of people, all moving around the space and socializing. I wish I'd caught our server's name because he was awesome and I'd like to give him props. They served some BBQ wings, which were big, juicy and delicious, excellent fried Brussels sprouts, and these loaded tots things that were yummy too. I went to the Grateful Goat while I was visiting a college friend near Harrisburg. It wasn't very busy for a Saturday afternoon, which was nice because we were sat right away. The food was good! We started with the beer cheese smothered fries and side salads, which were pretty decent in size. We also really enjoyed the crispy bacon that was on top of the fries. My friend and I each got a pizza, I had the hot honey and she had the fungi. The pizza came with six slices each, which was great because we had leftovers. My other friend enjoyed the cheesesteak and said she really liked it! For it not being very busy, we felt like the overall service was lacking. My friends both ordered beer flights and they both had something wrong with their beer choices. We barely saw our server, which made it difficult when we needed something. read more

We were the only patrons in the dining room area. This made it a little tough to get solid service, but the server was helpful when she came around. Seems like the bar area was busier. Burger was cooked well and the bacon was a little thick which was appreciated. Friends got the lobster roll and lobster bisque and said both were tasty. Fries were crispy. They have homemade tots, but the waitress pointed out it is more like fried mashed potatoes. They have a good selection of fruit-flavored seltzers and ciders, which is appreciated. Went here over lunchtime with my boss. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend. I got the salmon BLT which was excellent and came with fries that were so crispy and delicious. Our waitress was responsive and very kind. She had her hands full but still did a great job and we never waited too long. The vibe is really cool! This is one of my favorite places to go to! I have been several times and I have never had a bad meal! Their drinks are also outstanding, especially the espresso martini and bloody mary! They have an awesome brunch on the weekends, which i have been to twice and absolutely love. We ordered the cast iron crab dip which is stated to be served with soft pretzel pieces - we got bread. The grateful goat burger (2 orders of this item) was flat & tasteless. Such a huge disappointment because the description sounds fantastic. The burger (made from short rib brisket???) tasted like plain hamburger w/o salt/seasonings. The strawberry fig jam was a small smear on the bottom of the bun & the flavor did not stand out at all. All you tasted was red onion, feta cheese & a tasteless burger. Drinks were tasty. Lobster mac & cheese - no complaints from the person who ordered this. Crab cake platter -rainbow carrots were over roasted (very dark) & looked like zucchini was also a part of the veggies. Crab cake was OK. Fish & Chips - no complaints Hot honey Pizza - WOW - what a disappointment. Again, description sounds fantastic but is NOTHING compared to what was served. Description says, "house-made marinara." What was served was a thick spread of tomato paste. Several people tasted the pizza & agreed it was pathetic! Hot Honey - where was it??? Honey might have been drizzled on it, but it was nothing special. We did agree there was plenty of pepperoni & the crust was nice and chewy. First time here and ordered a flight of Lagers! Tyhler our server was very polite & did a good job attending our needs. My flight consisted of 3 lagers and a porter ale. I really enjoyed the Blood Orange and Mexican Lager with lime my wife agreed with me on thee two. My wife ordered a Hail Caesar Salad - Imperial Caesar dressing, croutons, organic romaine, shaved Parmesan with Blackened Chicken, I ordered the Pretzel Burger Fried egg, short rib brisket burger, Bourbon bacon, gruyere cheese, pretzel roll. Our dinner club had a reservation here. When we arrived, we were told they couldn't seat us in the dining room as a large party of 15 just sat down. When my friend made the reservation, he was not asked if we wanted dining room or bar. We were told that we could wait until something opened for our party of 7 or go in to the bar. We were seated at a high top table in the bar which was narrow. We order a lot of food and we were cramped. Now on to the food! We ordered 6 appetizers. The food was good but the portions were small. Brussel sprouts, Maryland deviled eggs, ahi tuna, crab dip, loaded fries and of course the large pretzel! All were tasty! We each ordered our own entrees and enjoyed all of them. For dessert, we tried the fried ice cream. It was good and plentiful. The chocolate cake was moist and it was so giant that it didn't fit in to a to go container! One of the most beautiful breweries I've been to this year. Amazing logo, love it. The staff were all real nice. The tables are covered with construction packing paper for easy clean up. Which makes sense for a BBQ place but not a brewery. My daughter got the Mac and Cheese which she loved. I got the pretzel burger. Both the pretzel bun and the burger patty were on the dry side but it came with a fried egg on top which the yoke helped. We both got the natural cut fries which were fried and seasoned perfect. We also got the Maryland deviled eggs which were just ok and on the small side for the price. Really a 3.5. Server was very friendly and helpful, endured beer refills done before the end of happy hour. However my glass of water was never refilled. Ordered the Buttermilk Chicken sandwich figuring it would be moist and juicy. It was not! Over fried and dry! The little bit of sauce drizzled on it did nothing to help - not even putting extra on. Let me first say that I went into this expecting the worst food ever based off of the reviews from google and Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised. I went in at 11 am for a big group meet up and the place was practically empty. We didn't have to ask for waters, as they were already brought out for everyone. I normally dread breweries because I don't drink beer aside from the occasional cider. I was so happy to see that they had a cocktail menu and a lengthy list of ciders to offer those who aren't into beer. I went with the strawberry cider but want to try a few of their cocktails next time. They only offer brunch on Sunday's, which was a little disappointing, so I went with a pizza. I got the honey hot pizza that came with pepperoni, lots of mozzarella, and a hot honey drizzle. I was so pleased that it came out piping hot. The crust was so chewy, yet soft. There was the perfect amount of cheese and sauce on the pizza so it held up really well too. The prices were fair and the pizza was large - I took half of it home. Around $20 for a cider and a pizza on a weekend wasn't bad at all. Definitely will be back! This is really close to home and I'm looking forward to trying some of the pasta and sandwich entrees, as well as the Sunday brunch. read more

I didn't realize there was a new business at this location and was passing by around lunchtime, so I decided to check it out. I was seated quickly - I opted to sit out on the small patio. I ordered the House-Smoked Pork Sandwich which was surprisingly good. Pork was moist & tasty ..and the bun was good, too. Also had Mac & Cheese as a side ..was ok. Coleslaw was good. Ambience: typical sport bar vibez Service: I was a bit disappointed in the service for brunch at this particular place. Our waitress that was serving us was coming to our table a little too frequently before we even placed the order to access what we wanted so as someone felt rushed. The brunch menu isn't really good compared to other places within distance. The food presentation was a bit horrible as you can see if you look at the deviled eggs it almost look like they was just thrown on a plate. There was also another server who was walking around in a sports jacket who appeared to just come in from smoking cigarettes based on the smell of him and when he brought me something to my table I can't remember what it was but he didn't say a word he just put it on a table and walked off as if he had an attitude of some sort. Food: I probably wouldn't come here for brunch again but I would be willing to try their dinner menu to see if they put any more effort into it then they do the brunch. Visited this place while stopping through the area. The restaurant is fairly new and I love a new experience. I was totally underwhelmed with this place. The best part of my meal was the Caesar salad. No one at my table really loved their meal. I had Parmesan encrusted chicken . It wasn't hot and the "encrusted" was just Parmesan crumbs on top of a creamy sauce. It was not a good meal. The wings were just okay. They just had a sauce on top with no seasoning. I didn't enjoy my drink which was a simple fruit punch and then a strawberry lemonade that was just okay. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. I wanted to like it. They did split our bill with no problem and we had a good waiter. They had a pretzel appetizer that seemed to be a crowd favorite. read more

Given the amount of people in there no more than 1 line cook to run it. Drinks: house Bloody Mary's. Nothing exciting here. Looks VERY generic.. Celery was SO soggy it bent and you couldn't bite through it, should have NEVER been served, certain things just need to be on the shrink list! Food was mediocre and that's me being nice. Not sure if they had a new line cook, wait staff running line, or no one running the line. ANY dish at our table with eggs, looks like it was cracked left on one side to turn to dark brown, almost black and slapped on a plate. Totally inedible! In fairness they did offer to cook something else for the 3 people at my table who had eggs, they all declined. The "strawberry" French toast is cheap pink artificially colored and flavored cheap spread put on plain, barely battered French toast. No warm aroma of buttery cinnamon and vanilla. Just plain awful! Wait staff was very chatty amongst themselves and did eventually come over. Would not return. Costs a good bit of money to go out these days, save your money and go where you can actually eat the food. read more

WingCraft is a very nuce re-invention of the former Arooga's in Camp Hill. I stopped in on a recent evening for drinks and a preliminary visit. In addition to a full bar, WingCraft brews a rotating selection of small batch beers. I tried the Rip It and Sip It IPA as well as the Wing Craft Light. My companion tried the Belgian Wit. All wete quite good. Service was friendly and attentive and WingCraft definitely had sufficient staff on hand during my early Saturday evening visit. The space is very nice with a large bar area and adjacent pub-style dining. There are ample TVs and monitors for both sports and the draft list. Noise levels were very decent during our visit and we could easily carry out a normal conversation at the bar. WingCraft also features a nice additional dining area featuring padded booths and linen-covered tables. We did not try the food (hence the 4-star rating) but the menu is a nice mix of formal favorites like steaks and seafood as well as pub favorites like wings and pizza. We will definitely be back for a future dinner since my companion can't wait to try the lobster BLT. read more

Warning: associated with Aroogas so the food quality is exactly the same. Love the interior of this place the name and the logo. Service was wonderful. My smoked old fashioned deserved five stars. Why the low rating? They have a very extensive menu. I would recommend cutting it and focusing on doing really good items done well. We had pizza (not good) french onion soup (not rich and beefy no flavor) deviled crab eggs (ok) Wedge salad (good but overly dressed with dressing and lettuce needed to be washed better as it had that dirt taste to it) Parmesean chicken (bleeeh) Chicken wings (basic) The french fries were great. I really like the food here. The beer and drink selection is awesome. And somebody put a lot of thought into the design and decor. That said, the service is a bit scattered but always friendly. The cleanliness is also a bit questionable. I was served a can of n/a Sam Adams with an absolutely filthy glass. My wife's fork was so gross and greasy. But everything seemed relatively clean otherwise. Also, there's often some issue out of left field. My son's stuffed French toast seemed very undercooked. He also got a craft brewed root beer for $4.50 in a small glass packed with ice. No refills. We were sandwiched in a narrow space with another table, which made it hard to get in and out. All-in-all great food, great location and great service. I guess I think there may just be a lack of an eye for detail. read more

The omelette was also open-faced and overcooked, the children's pancakes were rubbery, the brisket tasted like chopped steakums, and the bacon was past overdone--it was literally burnt. We decided to enjoy the weather and eat outside on the patio. I ordered the Tavern Chicken Sandwich with tots on the side. Well, this poor little piece of chicken was " murdered" on the flat top!! Waitress was non existent to the point we had to bring our plates (my husband needed a box) in from outside. Then we stood there waiting for the bartender to acknowledge us. I showed her my chicken and told her the waitress never came to check on us after she (bartender) brought us our food. Ok!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First, the bill for our take-out was about 75.00. We ordered a Pretzel App, French Dip with the House Made Tots, Fish Tacos with Tots, and a Kids Meal with Chicken and Fries. Pretzel - The dips were good. The pretzel was lacking. I was hoping for an Auntie Anne's style, or a German style. This was more of a spongy bread style. It looks nice. But not up to par at all. French Dip - Bread was very dry. Not enough cheese. The meat was flavorful but dry. We did not get Aus Jus with it. Which basically made it a dried up steak sandwich with some cheese. And ..the sandwich looked like it was annihilated. This was brought from Grubhub, but it couldn't have gotten this bad in transit. Fish Tacos - A little fishy. But otherwise, flavorful. The tots were basically mashed potatoes and tater tots mixed. Did not like the seasoning. Kids meal - Was supposed to be boneless wings with fries and a sprite. Came as chicken fingers and no sprite. Wasn't horrible. But forgetting things again is making this meal less appealing. Then when I spoke with management to talk about the order, they said someone else would email me.. but two days later... still no email. The lack of customer service, when a pandemic is killing restaurant profits, was mind blowing. Save your money and go somewhere that wants to retain customers and pays attention to detail. read more

Prizes given for top winners. The food and drinks are also fantastic! Everything I've ever had from this place has been amazing. It's spacious inside with table seating, high tops, or a bar. OK I'm gonna get this out-of-the-way first and then I will discuss the food. The butcher paper on all the tables I think it would be fine if you were doing like a seafood night, but I have this done daily really is not good. It was rubbing against my big fat belly throughout the night and actually I got a paper cut from it. I advise revamping your table cloths. With with that being said, I thought the food overall was pretty decent and the drinks were really good. I think this place is a very good option for the local community and also out of towners should give it a try. The bartender actually even made us a drink that wasn't on the menu which I thought was pretty cool, but I don't know if I should really promote that because then it now everyone's gonna be asking him. Didn't even know this place existed, although apparently my husband did. We got two flights of beer. They do small production so it rotates frequently apparently. We really enjoyed the beer, and we can be picky. For food, we had pretzel, bacon steak, Cajun trio, and a burger. We would get all of them again and the burger was cooked to our specifications. Great service and food. We were a little disappointed that the blueberry cheesecake and their dark beers were apparently seasonal for the colder months and were not available last week. Stopped by with my mom to grab some drinks and dinner. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was incredibly friendly and quick to serve. My mom had the Rip it and Sip it Grapefruit IPA which she really enjoyed. I'm not a IPA kinda person, but the Moscow mule was great. We ordered the cast iron crab dip to start, the dip and chips needed some salt. There was also way too much corn and not enough crab in the dip. For dinner I got the lobster roll with homemade tater tots and my mom got the ahi tuna bowl. The lobster roll was great and the homemade tots were impressive. My moms bowl was delicious as well, the tuna was cooked perfectly. Wednesdays at Grateful Goat appears to be trivia night, so it was a bit crowded. Had dinner here tonight that started with flight of four of their house brewed beers. That was enjoyed along with orders of their brussel sprouts and truffle tots, both very highly recommended. For the main course that was the Vegan Buddha Bowl with blackened tuna, whilch was also very good. For dessert there was the cheesecake covered with Grateful Goat Blueberry Kolsch compote - unbelievably good. This was enjoyed with their own porter.
