I love walking around the shop looking at all the little figurines, jewelry, and pipes they have for sale. Minds Eye is heavily scented with incense, so if that's not your thing, just be aware. Great little head shop hidden away in Norwalk. This place is absolutely fantastic. They are always giving discounts on their equipment and everything is VERY reasonably priced. The best part about this place is that they GIVE you stuff when you make purchases. For every $25 you spend you can get to choose a chip from a box. Found this gem in Norwalk and bought my first pendulum! My grandma and I were so In love with everything in here. The energy in here is my favorite and the lady there helped me and was very knowledgeable. I was attracted to an owl piece with an evil eye. The owl spirit animal is emblematic of a deep connection with wisdom and intuitive knowledge and the evil eye is not about demonic spirits or things of that nature at all. Oh the peace I felt just coming in here was heaven sent. Every single person I encountered was beyond helpful. We actually ended up staying so long that I required a chair to sit down (I have MS and walk with a cane). They brought one to me and actually rung me up from the chair! Their kindness really meant so much. I took the shop woman's advice and let the stones call to me and then read their perfectly labeled pieces by the stones. They had a wonderful collection of not just stones themselves, but rings, brackets, pendants, books and so much more! As I am newer to this healing form I asked many questions. They never treated me as though I was a bother. In fact they steered me in several directions that I hadn't considered. For every $25 spent you get to pick from a treasure chest and I got several incense packets on my first visit. They also gave me a incense platform to burn it on and explained each thing to me. I want to start by saying I just recently became more interested in crystals and stones so I looked up local shops in the area and I am extremely thrilled that I stumbled across this place. Immediately upon entering my girlfriend and I were greeted by Dani (forgive me for the spelling) and instantly we felt very invited and welcome into the store, which created a very relaxed environment to look around. She let us know if we had any questions or needed help to let her know, yet she also gave us our own personal space which I truly appreciated because some places either hound you or don't make you feel welcome. Thank you Dani! Onto the crystals, stones, etc. They have descriptions for just about every type of crystal and even encourage you to take photos-- awesome! We spent easily an hour in the store just gazing at everything, reading all the descriptions, and checking out the variety they have. The store is well-organized, easy to navigate, and spacious. They have an interesting pricing system so be sure to ask any one of the friendly staff to help you out. They also give out little coupons and gifts depending on how much you spend. I usually go to spiritual or metaphysical shops in Long Beach, but after moving out of town I found making the drive to LB for those shops was simply not worth it unless I was already nearby. I found The Mind's Eye on Yelp and needed some sage and crystals, so I stopped by on my way to run errands. Since this was during COVID times, the shop's owner was only handling business at the door and not allowing customers to walk around, which is understandable since a lot of items are touched in these types of shops. I was unsure of how satisfied I would be since I wouldn't be able to shop and walk around the store. Although my movement was limited, the owner not only had all the items I needed but was able to assist me in finding all other products I was interested in (and less time-wasting at other stores since I'm a one-stop-shop kinda girl ). She included so many other extras at no additional cost and I'm so grateful because it can be overwhelming learning about all these items! I am so glad I visited this shop! I was a bit nervous because it was my first time visiting. I've been to other locations with friends and the staff at those locations were not so welcoming. That was not the case at The Minds Eye II. The customer service was excellent and the owners/staff were super friendly. If you had any questions about anything they were always happy to help you out. I felt very welcome here and became comfortable right away. There were so many crystals and their varieties were amazing. All of the merchandise were priced clearly and had explanations about their properties so that there is no confusion about what you are purchasing. I was told that everyone is also welcome to take pictures of the explanations which was extremely helpful. I feel that the prices were fair. You know exactly what you're getting versus ordering online. They also have a table located in the corner with discounted items. My experience was wonderful. I came to purchase some stones for my girl scout troop's bridging ceremony. My girls wanted a more personal and spiritual ceremony. They suggested having symbolic items and doing some meditation as part of their ceremony. When I explained this to the sweet woman who helped me, she was more than accommodating and offered some free stones as a gift to my girls. At the register I was also given little gift pouches to put all the stones in and they were girl scout green! I was actually planning on purchasing some but now I don't have to! We were also given meditation incense for each girl and myself as well for being a good leader. I will definitely be back here to buy more goods. I absolutely love this place. I've visited the local metaphysical/crystal stores around my area and decided to go a little farther to this one because nothing at my near stores really enticed me. This place is literally JUST DIFFERENT. The aura inside is amazing, the decorations are beautiful and the selection is so diverse and amazing. I spent an hour in there just gazing at their amazing crystal selections. They have a huge very well organized wall of labeled stones and carried some of the rarer stones like Moldavite. Their sage is also comparatively cheaper than most crystal stores. The staff were extremely helpful to all the customers, even though it was very past everyone of the staff were helping. I see why this place is so popular and will definitely happy drive 40 minutes to visit. They even have a cool rewards program (?) where if you spend a certain amount of money, there's a little gifting booth at the back where you pick baggies and win small cute prizes. I got 2 $2 discount gift cards and a pack of incense for free! And since I was a first time shopper they gave free goodie bag of a small selenite and another $2 gift card. I picked out a beautiful crystal and didn't know what it was and one of the staff was very knowledgeable and immediately identified what it was. I wish I took more images of the store itself but I didn't. I'll be back for sure! I definitely recommend all rock hounds to go visit! read more
