The Miracle Pub is a long standing Toms River watering hole. The building from the outside doesn't look like much, but just look at how many cars are almost always in the parking lot. That will tell you whether the establishment is a popular one. They are a "dive bar" in the sense that everyone is always welcome in any way that they are. They actually always seem to have an extensive beer list. They do have craft beers on tap, which get rotated in and out. Believe it or not-- their food is good. Deb the hostess or manager was incredibly rude. She had an attitude the second we walked in. We greeted her with smiles and she greeted us with an attitude and eye rolls. We asked to move tables and she was a complete ass hole about it. We were only getting wings and we were going to be on our way. The bar was completely packed and there were mostly all the tables open. We just wanted to sit near the wall instead of sitting right in the middle of this mess of an establishment. The server walked up on her phone and stood there without saying a word for 30 seconds and then walked away? So weird. The wings are good but they're not that good. We literally just got up and left. Service is very rushed, portions are ridiculous small and beer on top is not cheap but is a cute place.

It was nice outside the other night so we decided to be outside for dinner. Our waitress was great, awesome service. We ordered the nachos to start, they were great . I got a coors light and then ordered the southwest wrap. It was delicious and filling. The menu is pretty big so I gotta try more things next time. Also gotta sit inside as well. The bathrooms are really small like 2 people max. Plenty of parking, the place itself looks really cool too, definitely recommend if you're in Toms River! read more

Food is worth the visit. Hit or miss on service. Some members of the service team are true professionals. Others are very rough and completely rude. It's not a rough crowd and does not warrant that behavior from the staff at 4:00 pm on a Sunday. Not to mention the awful comments a female staff member was making about customers as they were leaving. Our local favorite! May be the best spot in Toms River for food, drinks and a comfortable vibe. You know a place is good when there's everyone from toddlers to seniors dining. And always busy. Burgers, apps and flatbreads are awesome, but the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon are my favorite. Kids love the pork roll fries. The menu is huge. We tried the brunch and October fest events as well...all great! They have lottery and packaged goods, too (so if you're on a date and don't want to watch sports, get scratchoffs lol). This place is always super busy and now I see why! Food and drinks were great, wait staff are super attentive and our waitress Ashley was so friendly and made our experience great! The menu has a wide variety of options. You also get a basket of popcorn while you're waiting which was my favorite part. This place is super lively and overall a very fun place to grab a drink. This place sucks. They let under age kids drink here and not people of age paying the price. I drank 3 beers here and ate an ENTIRE WRAP and fries and the bar tender said "you are cut off, even though you did nothing wrong". Love going to the Miracle Pub! Great food, staff and atmosphere. It's very clean and comfortable.

First of all, you know this place is special as soon as you walk through the door. Why? Because you seen an array of beer marketing signs and trinkets that adorn the walls. Really cool! Plus on one side of the establishment is a bar and the other is a package goods store. 2 for 1! Trusting the vibe you will be implored to sit down at the bar where you will be greeted with a basket of fresh popped corn (big time stuff). Grab yourself an iced cold beer and order some wings (best in the greater Toms River area). In fact, while the Buffalo wings are good, I could make the argument that the garlic Parmesan wings are the best of that version that I've had. They are covered in a buttery garlic sauce which really enhances the flavor. Highly recommend a stop at Miracle Pub if you are in the neighborhood. read more

I have been going to this place for years since moving to the area but time to move on. Food is good for moderate bar fair but just flat out tired of the BS attitude of the bartenders. $6 for a Miller light and they act like they are doing you a favor to bring you another after walking by you 10 times with an empty drink. Sorry I even left a tip for such crap service with a frown that never changes. The world must truly be desperate for bartenders to keep some of these folks employed. Becoming our favorite place to enjoy good pub food in a vibrant eclectic setting. We had previously eaten during COVID period and were very impressed by the way the facility followed and exceeded the rules in place. Spoke volumes about ownership. Had lunch today. The pastrami Reuben was off the charts good. My wife had a vegetarian wrap which she loved. We were greeted warmly on arriving and promptly seated on high tops right next to the beer refrigerator. At a different stage of my life that would possibly e a recipe for trouble . Despite the setting we were immediately waited on by a lovely friendly staff member. Immediately felt very welcome. Even the Jersey City native gentleman ( could have been an owner) restocking the beer refrigerator greeted us and was very cordial. The tv array had my head spinning- golf, Eurocup, subway series, track and other choices. What a dilemma Simply said we loved the whole vibe ( reminded us of Cheers where everyone knows your name) and the restaurant/ liquor store mix. Clearly a great local family place. We went here a few times during the pandemic and sat outside. Food was great, they did a great job of accommodating patrons. We went back Friday to the open restaurant. This place is a favorite local spot - great bar, great food, friendly staff, and don't forget the popcorn (complimentary). You will not be disappointed by anything on the menu. Talk about a great turn around story, this is it. For years this dive of a pub featured a few old men and a liquor store that everyone knew. Few people ate there and although it was a landmark ( or blight) in town, it needed some new blood. Enter Mike Browner and family. The entire place turned around and it started with the food. Better than good bar food at reasonable prices. Beers you can afford to drink- unlike so many chain bars you see too much of everywhere, and great and friendly service. There is a dart league on Monday nights and football packs a crowd as well as just about any other sporting event. Sunday brings a very reasonable brunch. All in all, this is what a neighborhood bar and restaurant should be. Well done! read more

This is a throwback, divey feeling kind of spot. You know it's popular with the locals, there wasn't an empty seat at the bar at 3pm midweek. Yes, you read that right. It's a very low key, laid back type of vibe. When I say divey, that is not meant as an insult, they have all kinds of cool decor. First time here. Stopped in for a couple of beers, & to check out the place. This is one of those, don't judge a book by its cover, places. From the outside it's any other neighborhood bar. Once inside, you can see it's more like a Cheers type of atmosphere, where the locals gather. The bartenders are friendly & attentive, as was the doorman. The decor is regular bar fare; save for the signed Brett Michaels guitar encased in a display box on the wall near the rest rooms. As for the rest rooms, I can only comment on the men's room. It's tight quarters, with only 1 stall & 1 urinal & a sink. It's small enough to have to wait. For a decent sized bar, this is a drawback. The menu goes far beyond the standard bar fare, with dishes from beef, chicken, pork, & fish. Along with some interesting sides like, pulled pork bbq egg rolls. I didn't eat there, but there were a lot of people eating, so that has to say something about the quality. They also have, fish & chips, so I'm looking forward to trying it. The only caveat being, they only have the tall tables & stools, so, probably not that easy for everyone to navigate. They also have a few t.v.'s which were showing games, & I think they have game day specials. They also have a take-away menu, which I saw a few people come in for, so, again, that has to speak for the food quality. I'll update my experience once I eat from there. All in all, I'd recommend it for a night out, & am looking forward to going back. It's a casual place for a few drinks, dining, & even a date. That is, if I can get someone to go on a date with. Ok today I just wanted to go out to eat before food shopping . Iam solo. Most places have no seats or reserve the table for more then four. It's hard trying to go out alone right now with the co vid thing . The person who sat me got me , and I was so grateful. The menu was a pleasant surprise. What a variety of foods . I ordered the steak bites . Them came cooked to my temperature med rare, another wonderful surprise. Most places burn them . The side sauces were teriyaki and a creamy mild wasabi sauce . Both perfect . I highly suggest going here or at least looking up the menu . You will not be disappointed. Lots of family's eating dinner as well . This is the perfect hidden gem . Sat outside. Not too busy. Good calamari. They do it in strips instead of rings. Always better! Got it with the bang bang shrimp sauce! Reuben egg rolls wee soggy AF, the fryer should have been hotter. Food was okay but there were 2 of us initially and we were there just under an hour and explained our wives would like to meet us. He said he'd set us up but mentioned we were there an hour already and they had a 2 hour max table time and the clock was ticking. He spoke to the head waitress and we could see she was giving push back. They never even thanked us or even made eye contact as we left. Puzzies. She informed us she couldn't reseat us with our wives. This is crap customer service and worse business acumen. We spent over 60 bucks before tip and surely would have at least doubled that. So we told them forget it and we'd go elsewhere. So they lost at least another 60 plus gratuity and we'll never go there again. There are Way 2 Many places around here to spend our money and that's what we'll do. We're locals so you just lost year round customers, not tourists. We were in the pub at the bar and asked for 2 vodka and cranberry. The barmaid splashed a little vodka in the glass. I said, that's a pretty stingy pour. She snapped at me and said, what did you just say. I repeated, that's a stingy pour, she said, well that's our pour and called another bar maid over who verified the pour. I'm calling the ABC on them. This is an illegal practice and they deserve to be reported. Another customer told me that if you order anything other than a beer in there, they cheat you.
