I've been coming here since before I turned 21 with my aunt and nana, it's their favorite place down here when they visit. The interior is a total dive! And we love it haha. Cool decorative bar, friendly bartenders that recognized my nana after some time, and kind servers. I thought twice about giving Miracle 3 stars, however the other night with takeout during the pandemic was not their best, and I did take into account my better visits during normal circumstances from the past. I placed a decently large order that fed 5 people on 7/22/20, over the phone. It was the end of the night for the restaurant around 8:30 when I arrived for my food. I chose not to pay over the phone and give my cc info (makes me uncomfortable at times). When I walked inside the front entrance through the liquor store portion of the restaurant as that's how you must enter for pickup during COVID-19, I saw the order tables pushed forward where those taking food out are supposed to grab their food and go. My order was all set and sitting there, however I have not paid. I'm standing there for a solid minute or so until one woman yelled from the bar "Are you being helped?". I responded with "This is my order right here I need to pay for this I'm ready." She goes "I asked you.. ARE YOU BEING HELPED?" I said back, "NO", to which sparked her to swing around the bar through the kitchen to me. She snags the printed receipt that someone else completed my order with, and mumbles under her breath issues that another employee made. She asked me "You need to pay for this?" I said "Yes..." She goes "Cash or card?" I handed her my card, she seemed frazzled and not happy at the end of the night. Understandable, but I'm still a customer. One of my friend's I was eating with asked me to ask for extra blue cheese for their wings. So I did, and her response was. "Well did you order it that way?" "No, can you please go grab some from the kitchen?" She proceeded to do so, then got all nice and sweet as I was writing off my signature and tip, mentioning not to forget my popcorn they give out. $0 for the rude, older, blonde ponytail woman. I could have saved time, effort, and interaction with someone very rude if I snagged and left. Although I have morals. The food was good, except for the multiple orders of fried pickles. Should have known they are best fresh in person out of the fryer. Soggy and cold. Will not order takeout again, but will probably be back for in person once things are better. My only complaint about coming here when it's normal is the staff is not the most attentive when you need something. read more

Unfortunately I have to give The Miracle Pub a bad review. I'm torn over having to say this but, we were a party of three. We asked to be seated at a table that would generally seat six, now before you judge me for wanting to take a big table rather than wait for a smaller one, you should know that at the time there were two, yes two empty tables that seat six. Now the youngster who was hosting at the time said that they were keeping the tables for a reservation and a bigger party. Now really, a reservation that, by the way was already late and--- what did you say--- a bigger party??? I saw a sign that literally said "please don't be late for your reservation because we won't hold your table after the reservation time has passed ". Now it was already ten minutes past the reservation time for this person or persons but still the hostess refused to seat us! Disgusted with this treatment we opted to place an order to go, and, I have never heard of this, but she straight faced said that @we aren't doing to go orders " What the what?? No to go orders?? So, needless to say we left, reluctantly, we left. My family and I have been going to The Miracle Pub for years and we have never, NEVER, been treated so badly. I'm sure that this review will fall on deaf ears but I finally had to get this off my chest. Sorry Miracle Pub but you won't be seeing us back anytime soon!!! read more

Called and asked to speak to owner but he apparently doesn't like to talk to the customers. Received a very insincere apology from Debbie and a gift card from the restaurant. We have really been enjoying this place! The bar itself is very welcoming and most of the bartenders are awesome. They have a great choice of alcohol and lots of different flavored vodkas! The food here is what surprised us the most. We have tried quite a few different things and they have all been SO good!! Nice cozy spot for food.. and the selection is terrific! If youre down the shore for the weekend, hit up miracle pub. The fact that they have broccoli bites wins me over for sure! This place sucks! Customer service is soo poor! Me, my 76 year old mother my 56 year old sister and my 62 year old aunt were refused service based on nothing. We left my sisters house and wanted to go to happy hour for food. The female bartender approached us after 10 minutes and told us while covering her mouth, that she wasn't serving us. We had not ordered a thing at this point and she didnt want to serve us and didn't have the decency to say why. This was totally inappropriate for her to do. Never again. Stay away folks. read more

If your thinking of coming to this place, think again.... They have rules and I'll tell you exactly what they are. 3 Hours, doesn't matter what your doing, if you been there longer then 3 hours they tell you your done and make you cash out and leave. Yes, even if you drank all the water you can handle, they still make you leave and that is a fact! I have my receipts to prove it and will put them on here if they deny anything I'm saying. They also have a 2 shot limit now, so if your looking to pregame before a night out or go somewhere to watch the games, I would suggest going somewhere else. My wife, her friend and myself went here to watch football at 1pm. We ordered food at the bar, Miller Lite drafts and waters to stay hydrated while being here. In a 3 hour span we consumed 6 drafts each, 2 waters each, and 4 different appetizers!!! After being asked by the bartender to cash out because of a shift change, we did the right thing and started a new tab so she can collect her tips which is fine. As soon as we start a new tab, 1 beer each and sliders, we get told by a different bartender that they have a 3 hour limit and they can't serve us anymore. Let me remind you, 6 beers in 3 hours including 2 waters, NO SHOTS and 4 different apps! The bartenders blame the owners for it because they are paranoid about serving anyone after 3 hours so they told us we can't have another drink and have to cut us off. Needless to say the owners of this place should just sell if that's how they are going to run a business. It was absolutely embarrassing being told this in front of other people as well that were there. We were minding our own business, not being loud, eating and drinking water with our 6 drafts in 3 hours and still were told this. Pathetic.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Office lounge is up the street or even BWW. Sawmill or Spicys, Tuscan House or McIntyres. All are better options especially for sporting events where u know your going to watch a game that always lasts 3 hours or more. You will thank me when you do. read more

I used Miracle Pub for catering a dinner I was having this past week. First I found their pricing very reasonable. Second and most important, the food was out of this world delicious. All my guests just raved about how good the steak bites were. The children who pretty much only eat chicken nuggets came back for thirds. The pierogies and roasted potatoes were also a hit! I've never heard of a two shot limit. Not two drinks they said I could keep drinking beer but no more than two shots. That makes no sense, I was attending a show across the street and going back and forth the night for four hours. My first and only Yelp review ever but felt compelled this time. Used to make the trip down a few Sundays a year to watch the NFL games. Never again. Been cut off 3 straight trips before 3pm not due to our behavior or condition but rather due to a formula they use to determine if you've had enough. Asked the waiter this last visit if this was still their policy and he assured me we'd be able the see the end of the 1pm games. That was not the case. Food is outrageously good, I go here at least once a week. Their specials get updated weekly with seasonal flares and they have a huge selection. Pastrami Reuben is ridiculous, fiesta poppers with red jalapeno halves and cream cheese filling I think I order every time I am there. You absolutely have to try their signature prime rib melt. Awesome spot with exciting staff. Large menu selection, but you must have the flatbreads or cheesesteak egg rolls! The decor of the pub is very diverse. Tons of bar swag and salvaged trinkets lining the walls giving it an exciting and never dull to look at moment! If you're into sports they are always playing something important on their flatscreen tv's that are viewable from any spot you're seated. Usually there is a wait on the weekends as its very popular, but you can kill the wait time by playing their new shuffleboard and sipping a drink from the bar! read more

I just realized that I never wrote a review for Miracle Pub! What can I say, I don't actually go to drink at bars all that often, since when I do feel like drinking, it's so much cheaper to just drink at home while watching the game. That being said, this place is a great place to go and watch whatever sporting event you're interested in. There are plenty of Giants and Jets fans during football season, and one time I came in when they had a few of the Jets cheerleaders in for some reason. The only downside is that the place is a little small and fills up quickly, so it's hard to get a seat, even at the bar. I really love dive bars like this, though. The music isn't so loud that you can't maintain a conversation. It also operates as a package store, so you can buy six packs and cases of beer to bring home to keep the buzz going. (But seriously, if you think you have a drinking problem, please seek help.) And most importantly, the food is actually, surprisingly, really good! Sure it's your standard pub fare that includes thin crust bar pies, wings, burgers, sandwiches, fries, and plenty of beer to wash it down with. But sometimes, that's all I'm really looking for. The wings are jumbo sized and have plenty of sauces to choose from. Burgers are good, as are the ultimate rib stack sandwiches. But tonight I just had their "Kiss my Blarney" sandwich special for St. Patrick's day. It's a hot corned beef sandwich on rye with some melted Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and coleslaw. It was so good! I might have to stop by and get one of these again before the Irish theme this month is over. I probably never would have stepped foot in this place if my little sister's good friend didn't work here and talk up their food selection a few years ago. To say that the place doesn't look like much from the outside is an understatement. I never knew this place existed, despite driving past it countless times over the two decades since my family moved to Toms River, and even working right there at Community Medical Center for a while. I suppose my experience with the service at the Miracle Pub has also been on the good end, since I know a few people who work here. Shout out to Zach! I ordered gray goose on the rocks. We had our cocktail then we ordered food and when the bill came there was a separate charge for "the rocks" $1 .75 they were charging me for the ice that they use to put this drink on the rocks. We called the waitress over and questioned the charge. She explained it was a house rule we asked to speak to the management. The manager came over and said when you do a "pour" on the rocks you get more liquor therefore the check for the ice. I said I have been drinking in bars way before you were born; and I have never been charged for ice to have a drink "on the rocks". Watch out with some of the bartenders skimming your money and when talking to a manager to bring issue up, not believe the patron, but standing by bartender who denies accusation and the customer gets "flagged" from bar! I just had lunch there with my son. Food was absolutely delicious and pleasantly served. Social distancing being in place we were not crowded near other diners. I've been trying to go here for a few months now. The place is always packed. I usually take that as a good sign. So my g/f and I were finally able to get over there this weekend to watch some football, have a few drinks and some delicious food. Walking in, it was a bit smaller than I thought it would be. It's by no means tiny, but the amount of cars in the lot suggested a much bigger place. It is long, but shallow inside. A large bar, with tables and a package area. We considered the bar, but it was packed, so we opted for a table. They have my favorite cheap beer, Miller High Life, score! The g/f was doing vodka cranberry and there was a football special on those. If I remember it was $4. We started with wings. I got Asian red pepper which were delicious, but not too hot. Even if you aren't a hot person, give them a try, the heat factor was minimal, while the flavor was great. They were nice jumbo wings, cooked well and tasty. I got the Jersey Shore burger, which was a burger with pork roll and american cheese. It was so good. Nice, juicy, cooked perfectly and pretty large. We are hoping for a return visit soon. read more

I have been going here for years. My last two experiences this weekend and last week and have been horrific. The waitresses and the hostess act like you're not even there. Last wknd We were presented with 4 out of out five meals, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for grilled cheese and french fries?? Tonight just my wife and I went there we were told it would be no longer than 10 minutes we waited 15 to 20 minutes which was not a problem. We were finally seated at a table we waited 10 minutes we were never acknowledged, we were never asked if we wanted a drink, we ended up walking out. I let the host/hostess know on the way out that we were not happy and this is the last two times we have had very poor service. if i could give this no stars i would. it is a complete joke. i am 49 yoa, last night i went there with 2 friends both 44 yoa to grab a bite and a few drinks. we sat at a table order dinner(which was less then average) and 2 mix drinks while we ate. we were then flagged and kicked out of our table. WHAT? we were not obnoxious loud unruly or rude. why serve us any drinks if u flag us after havin 2 in over 2 hours. This place is a dump, the bathrooms are way too small and disgusting.
