Can't go wrong with this platter, except those two were a little cold, needed to sit in the fryer a bit longer. Either way, scarfed. Cider, beer, sake cocktails. No hard alcohol. The sour beer hit the spot and Jamaica cider too. Ordered the smashburger, had to give it an honest rating. It's made UFO style, so all sealed in like an uncrustable, never seen this before. We had a race in Big Bear and saw this place was close with gluten free options. What a cool vibe. Gluten free beers and buns, yummy menu and the decor is so unique and fun. It reminded me of the sexy Harry Styles scene in don't worry darling when we sat at the back booth . The owner served us and was super great. We will be back! read more

We'd been talking about stopping by this new place for a while and decided today was the day. We were on our way home from lunch and decided to just stop by for a drink and check out the place, we were definitely intrigued by the mountain/space decor this place offered. We got a beer and a margarita and some pretzel bites and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We also got to meet the owner (Kara) who was very friendly and nice to chat with. This place is located close to the ski slopes and is a nice place to stop by for a quick drink. Can't wait to come back and enjoy their outdoor seating area when the snow is gone, I hear they may be putting in a stage to have music on the weekends, can't wait to come back and try that out! read more

Very accommodating for celiac. Apparently the owner has celiac disease and so almost everything on the menu is gluten-free other than their beer cheese and their regular bun. We had gluten-free chicken tenders, gluten-free waffle fries, and gluten-free saucers, which were a really cool uncrustable-looking cheeseburger that they have there. read more

Beer took 20 minutes and we waited for 65 minutes for food to arrive (and we ordered chicken tenders and pretzels). So as long as you have ample time to hang out and play. Orders did not come out in order and sort of confusing by waitstaff. Instead of checking numbers they would ask in"who has hunger fingers?" Note: staff said we had to order from app. Bartender then said never order from app or it will take forever, so good luck! edit: we left without food. They'll bartender was quite rude saying he "has had a stressful weekend and we should know food will take while." We have had a great weekend at big bear and this won't ruin it, but this place is trash. Positive: Ambiance is nice. Kids and dogs can hang out playfully. But eating wise and ordering beer probably go elsewhere. read more

Great service and the animal style wachos were amazing. We asked for them in a to go box because we weren't eating the whole serving while hanging out. They put them in a to-go box. Shhh...it's a secret spot! (The Locals Village) The first time I came to this restaurant, I had come by myself and ordered a smash burger and their beer on tap! Both are good, don't believe me, ask for a sample! They have three tvs behind the bar. This particular night the Dodgers game was on. It was a fun crowd with opposing fans as we all watched the game. The 2nd time, I went we ordered the sampler which had little bites of a variety of food they serve. Perfect item to share between two people with a couple of beers. Luke is the friendly bartender and Matthew is the server that efficiently brings out the food. Some nights they have a band and live singer to entertain. They also have an outdoor seating area, which feels so good on Summer nights. Breathe in the cool air as you enjoy your food. The vibe is low-key and casual. This place is super cute. We wanted a fast bite to eat after our long drive. The menu we found online looked different than in person just FYI We got the smash burger and the buffalo chicken and they come in a cute design that's like a calzone but different. The meals come with chips (which I wish there was an alternative because I don't like chips at all). But it is at least a brewery with excellent food. First time in here. It's great to have a place on Moonridge, closer to the Zoo and golf course. Greeted warmly when I walked in around 5pm on Thursday. Ordered a glass f wine. Looked up the wine on the internet. It sells $5 per bottle, but the cost here is $48. It was the Chardonnay. I ordered an appetizer of the beer pretzels with warm cheese. It was very good. The vibe in here is laid back and comfortable. If you are older or have knee issues don't sit on the bar stools. The bartender was nice and attentive to my needs, but spent all of his time talking to the locals and took no time to engaged me in any conversation, even after everyone else left. For a new place, it was good. There is definitely room for improvement, as expected. I hope this review helps you and them. Give this place a try and let's help them succeed. They absolutely nail gluten free food and it's so great for us celiac to be able to enjoy good food. They just opened 2 weeks ago with Beer and Wine and a limited amount of food but what I tried was good. No liquor. Did the Dum-Dum Chicken and Torpedo Shrimp with a nice tasty Blonde on tap then a flavorful IPA. A friend ordered the Pretzels and it isn't your large homemade style pretzel, it's more of the bar/snack out of the bag pretzels. Luke bartender and Robert are great people making you feel welcome and inform you of what they have to offer. Newly decorated and dog friendly with plenty of outside seating and fenced area to play in. This is a great addition to the Moonridge area and a nice place to come unwind. read more

Came here with a friend on Labor day weekend for some chill vibes and local brews! Service was quick and efficient with the use of QR code menus - so easy to use! We didn't order any good this time, but the menu looks stellar! I did subtract a star for the ambiance, the patio itself is cozy with picnic benches and hanging string lights. But there was a boat, not sure if this was decoration or just being stored there. Children were climbing and violently rocking to boat side to side which did stress my friend and I out. I could see where it could be fun for little ones to play on, but it did kill the relaxing vibes. read more

Cute, locals only vibe place. We got the app sampler, Wacho fries, tacos and shared. It was tasty. My favorite was the shrimp and some sort of egg roll/taquito thing. The texture on both was great. I had the guava seltzer on tap and it was delicious. The others had a pale ale on tap that they said was good. I would stop in again should I be in the area. This is a very nice friendly place. They have happy hour Thursday through Sunday. I had the Chardonnay called Moon x and it was yummy! My partner had the Off Piste IPA and he loved it, he is truly an IPA expert. We had the Chicken Dum Dums so good. We stayed at the APPLE INN just down the street from them and decided to give them a try. The food is good, the prices are ok, although the service is lacking. The parking is ok, they have an outdoor section that is 4x bigger than the inside. The smashed burger and chicken strips, with waffle fries were pretty good. read more
