I was just trying to sell my house. I wish I knew beforehand that they do not care about deadlines. I used to be a huge fan watching Albert Preciado on social media giving advice and talking about his life story, so when I saw his company's name on the loan of an offer I received, I accepted it: It was for the amount I asked for, it was a conventional loan, and cool it's The Mortgage Guys! I felt like I was in the presence of a celebrity company. This isn't my first time selling my home concurrently to buy elsewhere. I am a patient person. My original contract in April said to close in 17 days. My realtor has worked in various jobs of the real estate/loan business since 1992 and she had to almost harass the vague Silvestre to reply since they kept misleading us about being ready to close many times yet were totally not ready and wouldn't tell us until after the deadlines. As for you Silvestre, nobody gives a bleep about you bragging about having other businesses and that rant you gave my realtor made it sound worse like you put this loan on the back burner. We had every right to demand answers. How about don't be vague and don't mislead people? Imagine having a family and a schedule and trying to schedule your summer with your family in addition to movers and child care and work but being misled about something as important as closing the deal. Silvestre or whoever was behind this under this business cost me a lot of money and unnecessary stress. I couldn't exit this contract fast enough after so many delays. I feel bad for their actual client, as I know she really wanted to buy my house, but they really dropped the ball on all of us. IF ZERO STARS was possible that's what they would get. First and foremost, After learning about their company name and googling and reading reviews from their other branches I've learned that they are very disrespectful and not caring. On Feb 25-27 I had a trip planned for big bear with a Airbnb In Sugarloaf, Ca about 10-15min max from big bear lake. on 2/27 the day for our check out, and agent from mortgage guys decided that it was okay to let herself in and state she was going to show the house. Me and my family let her know that we had been in the house as part of an Airbnb stay and our check out time would be at 11am as we are still packing up and getting ready to hit the road. This lady insisted that her appointment would be at 10:30 but she was inside the house prior to that. We let her know that we need a few more minutes so that we can pack out stuff and she can have the house to herself after that. 10mintues later went by and she decided to come back into the house ON HER OWN with no one opening the door for her she let herself in with her clients to show off the house after we told her NOT TO COME IN AND OUR BELONGINGS WERE EVERYWHERE. I was in the restroom when I heard her trying to open the door to come inside the bathroom.  I quickly got out and my husband let her know she needs to wait outside as we are still in the house. Her clients seemed shocked. As I would imagine since this is causing us to get upset. I don't understand what was so hard to get when we told her we were packing and that she can come back in a few minutes once we were done, it was such a simple solution but she wanted to talk back to us as if it was OUR fault??? NO she needed to contact the selling agent and make sure the house was vacant!!!!!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL of this lady, I wish I would have gotten her name but I was just so pissed off I had no time to react. You guys really need to train your agents to DO BETTER. read more

Michael was my brother who used them and said all they did was go back on the interest rate they promised and could not close properly. Bogus fees were added until mentioned which were then removed (glad we pay attention) I suggested they move forward with Sunwest Mortgage and the loan closed within 2 weeks. Sometimes there is a per diem payment for closing late and based on what ive heard they are notorious for not closing on time. God speed and good luck should you choose this lender. read more

We have a home in escrow and these guys have missed every deadline. We had to extend a 30 day escrow another week. They set the new deadline. They missed that date as well and we are waiting to hear what their new date will be. Avoid them as a lender, it could cost you in additional fees. We are charging their client $200/day in per diem for every day they don't close. That will more than likely be you. The Mortgage Guys care more about taking photos and partying, showing off that "Hollywood" life, than their clients. read more
