We went with the $57 pedicure deal that includes callus removal and paraffin wax. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Called to make appointment for 12pm with Brian For a full acrylic toe set I arrived at 12 checked in and sat for 40 minutes until someone sat me down on a pedicure chair, and was given a different person since Brian was doing another clients nails. This pedicurist was very kind, unfortunately she was not qualified to do anyone's acrylic pedicure. I had blobs of acrylic in my toes with no shape whatsoever, she cut me 4 times in which I bled and the surrounding skin around all my toes are extremely raw red and irritated. After 2 hours in the chair I had given up on trying to Help her with the shaping. I gave up, paid, TIPPED, but I will not Be returning. The entire experience was terrible from start to finish. If the end product would have been what I wanted the wait time would have been worth it however with everything included I cannot justify returning and giving them my money. read more

So a friend recommended this salon. I've been on a hunt for a while at this point. I asked for Dip Powder #2 and what I received was not that. I honestly didn't get a good look until I got to my car and let me tell you..... HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! My nails were thick and SO wrong. It looked like I had dentures on my nails. Like actual teeth! The number I selected is not what was applied. In all my years of getting my nails done, I never removed my nails same day but yesterday was the day. The pedicure was okay. I've tried to give this place a chance because it's close to my house and my mom goes here. For acrylics and pedicures they're fine and have lots of options. For dip and natural nails, which is what I get, I will never go here again. They gaslit me the last time I went on the color I wanted. I told them the same as I got last time and they pulled out a color that clearly wasn't the same shade. Once I said never mind I don't want the colors please just remove the dip and I'll pay for the removal they did they most to try and get me to stay. Suddenly they found my color. This time, I came in, and asked for dip and picked a new color. The gentleman asked me if I wanted them short I said just a little. He cut them down with the buffer which is ok but I could already tell they were at the maximum length I'd want to cut off. I assumed he must be great at shaping (some nail techs are). I explained what I wanted multiple times. Almond shape, round with a point, tapered, I have round fingers so please elongate them. I tried so many different ways and he kept making them round and shorter. I said I don't want them round please make them skinnier and a point and he said well they're too short to make a point!!! He was the one who kept going. Not to mention, he tried to shape them AFTER the hard gel??? And I asked repeatedly hey you're still Shaping them right and he asssured me he was. Once he said they were too short for him to do anything I said please call someone else over I don't want you working on my hands anymore where he proceeded to tell me he was just cleaning the alcohol off my other hand and STARTED SHAPING AGAIN!!! I said please stop and finally someone came over. She did her best but the nail shape looks botched because the hard gel was on. She knew exactly what shape I wanted and apologized Becuase it was just his second time. I paid and tipped and will never be going back there again. 0/5 if you have natural nails. read more

SO WHATS THE TOTAL??? Ugh. Just want to get a quote so I know what I am expected to pay. I am searching for a nail salon because I have yet found "the one" to be my go-to. I had picked this one because they are "natural-inspired, vegan, organic, and non-toxic". But let's take a step back... what does that really mean, could there be some elaboration. Or is that just the pitch to hook people in? Well, it hooked me. I called asking to book a "gel mani and gel pedi" service. Then I called back asked for the price. Then I asked about the "volcano detox" and asked for the price and didn't get a direct answer. I got a vague quote about a classic mani. But I'm not asking for a classic mani... I'm asking for "gel mani and gel pedi with the volcano detox" and was then told (couldn't understand exactly what was said) something on the lines I'll have to come in a pick. Uhm ok. To make it less difficult I got off the phone with my appt time secured (not accounting for all the services I want). I went to the website hoping for answers to my question... okay... website doesn't even have pricing. I read other reviews and saw they 1) over charge 2) change pricing 3) charge double the legal fee if you use a card (debit or credit). Sounds kind of sketchy. Customer service wasn't very helpful. Ended up finding a better salon with better pricing and higher yelp rating with quality nail work. This was my first time coming here, thanks to the recommendation of a friend. I got the tropical pedicure which I felt like was perfect due to the fact that my feet have been swollen since I am currently pregnant. The music playing in the background added to the calming, soothing environment so it was a great get away and girls date! I've came here twice, first time a new set second time a fill. I had asked for the same guy that helped me the first time and specifically made an appointment to work with him and he wasn't there. When i got a new set it was $50 and now that i got a fill it was $45 when i called and asked the first time I was told $40 for a basic color fill which is what i got. When i asked why it's 45$ he said because cut down. Mind you my nails are super super short and i had filed them at home myself and when he asked if i wanted them shorter i said just a slight bit which he would've achieved the desired length filling them to the same square shape they previously were in which is a basic service provided when getting a fill, fixing the shape. Inconsistent pricing is a big reason people dislike nail shops so i hope they figure something out. Additionally, when making an appointment with a specific person and changing your plans for the day to be tendered to by a specific person and then getting there and being tendered by someone else is super unprofessional. read more

I love this nail place. My daughter and I have came here a few times and each time the quality is up to par. I get a gel pedicure as done my 6 year old, and they put as much effort into doing her toes as they do mine. I never feel as if they're rushing to try and fit in the client, and I've came at different days on different times and they're always attentive. The environment is clean, relaxing, and soothing. They always offer me a drink and something extra for my child. They also have a no fee atm inside which comes in handy. this was, without question, the worst nail experience i've ever had. if i could give them 0 stars i would. i typically receive my nail services at new me nails with tiffany, whom i've trusted for over a year. however, due to a last-minute change in my partner's birthday plans and tiffany's unavailability, i decided to try nail origins instead. unfortunately, that decision resulted in an incredibly disappointing experience. i called ahead to confirm availability and was told they could accommodate me. during my appointment, my manicure and pedicure were performed simultaneously. while this isn't normally an issue, the nail technician, ivy, remained on my right side throughout the service, forcing me to uncomfortably reach across my body to give her my left hand. despite expressing that this was physically uncomfortable, she continued without adjusting her position. at the end of the service, i was instructed to place both hands in one gel uv lamp. another uncomfortable and careless step. although the nails initially appeared fine, that did not last. within three days, the gold polish began turning black. by the fourth day, the polish was chipping. due to being in the middle of my partner's birthday celebration, i was unable to return immediately. i called on the 15th to schedule a repair with ivy and was told she was off and to call back the following day. i did so, and once again was told she was unavailable. i asked to schedule an appointment for the next day, and although they initially agreed, i later received a text informing me she was off again and to come in on friday. i chose to visit the salon in person. at the front desk, brian agreed to fix the nails but immediately implied that the chipping was due to something i had done at work. i calmly explained that i am a Navy retiree whose only "job" is to enjoy life. reluctantly, he began working on my nails. i specifically requested he use a nail file due to the current thinness of my nails, but he ignored my request and used an electric drill instead. at that point, i no longer felt comfortable challenging him. although he repainted the gold, the nails remained chipped and lifting. further evidence of poor-quality application from Ivy. Brian "fixed" my nails on under 14 minutes. what added to my concern is that the salon asks that you use zelle or venmo to pay. likely to prevent clients from disputing charges for inadequate service. additionally, brian asked for my personal number and proceeded to call me, despite me clearly stating i would not be returning. when i left the salon, i noticed his phone was positioned toward me, and it appeared he may have been recording me without consent. this was extremely unsettling. i paid $185 for a service that began to deteriorate within days and is now requiring correction from my regular technician. i gave the salon the opportunity to address the issue, but they failed to provide proper service or accountability. i would not recommend nail origin under any circumstances. if you do choose to visit, i strongly advise against booking with Ivy or Brian. i attached multiple photos that support everything i've shared. i included pictures of how my nails looked before i arrived and what brian "fixed." read more

Understandably not ALL can be non toxic/vegan but the fact that all the polish, all scrubs and lotions were, is just so refreshing to me! We came a couple days before my sisters wedding and the whole staff was so excited for her when we told them! All the staff was so nice and really pampered us, we felt like queens! Advertised as a nontoxic salon but some of the worse fumes I have ever experienced. I decided to come here because I was trying to find a safer alternative to a typical nail salon while pregnant, but the fumes ended up making it a worse salon experience than if I just went to a traditional salon. And the nails ended up being bumpy and too short, and I'm needing to go to a typical salon to get them fixed. Would not recommend this place. read more

This place has gone way downhill. Service used to be great - you would get seen right away, and they would offer you water, tea, or even champagne. However when I went a few days ago, service was subpar and the quality was terrible. I scheduled an appointment a few days ago for a gel mani/pedi, but had to wait 30 min after I arrived before I was seen. No one offered any beverages during the entire time I waited (or at any point during my appointment). The pedicure was good but the manicure was very sloppy (see attached photos). I came here based on the favorable yelp reviews. I got the Tropical Refreshing pedicure which i think was $60 and added the heat wrap around my neck for an extra $5. The service took about an hour, at first I was really excited, but she must have spent a good 10 minutes just rubbing slices of citrus on my legs and I thought that was so weird. I understand it ties into the "Tropical" theme, and they certainly smelled good, but just a weird thing to add to a pedicure. The price point for this was also on the high side, I feel like they slide in the citrus rub as a filler when I would prefer a foot massage. Regardless of the citrus the nail salon was top quality and very clean. I would only return on a special occasion. read more

I've had Vicky and Heidi as my nail techs there, and they've both been absolutely perfect with their color game. This salon is pretty modern, even down to the bathroom decor. It's a fairly newer local business in the neighborhood. Kind of quaint, tucked next to the 7-11. It doesn't have the super chemical smell like some of the older salons. They also have "packages" of mani/pedi treatments, for the difference combinations of scrubs, lotions, masques, paraffin, and neck heat wraps. I usually do the coconut/almond, or the tropical fruits one. My legs and feet come out feeling so soft and moisturized after! They offer complimentary refreshments, their massage chairs have been functional every time I've gone, and the owners/managers have always been very personable. They seem like friends I'd hang out with, outside of there. All these extra touches are lovely, but, the bottom line is that my pedis always come out PERFECT and I've never been hurt there, so I will continue to be a patron here! read more

I got the earth warming pedicure and an acrylic fill. i have a couple points here! 1. the pedicure barely had any massage 2. the polish job is great! BUT they didn't tell me that it was an extra $20 for gel. at my normal salon it's only $8 so i assumed it was going to be around the same. 3. Belen took her time on my nails and they turned out great! but again, i wish they would consult about the pricing beforehand. along with an extra $20 for gel, they didn't tell me how much extra the design was as well. ended up paying $170 for both with tip, not outrageous but more than i usually pay at other salons! read more

I 1st came to this nail salon, looking for a nail tech who can give better service/work as the previou/s ones. I met Mia. She actually saved my nails from a prior bad work on my nails. Anyway, I continued to get my dip refills from her. She started not to be consistent with her work. He always puts my nail in a bowl of acetone for a long time and never really fills an/or files my nail nice. The look never lasts long. I just was there a week ago, and one of my nails dip chipped off where it led me to remove it. I booked another appointment with another nail salon. Let me just say Wow! Nail tech wrapped my nail w foil, and not even 5 mins. She easily removed the dip easily compared to all fingers in a bowl of acetone for 30 + mins. My nails looks way better.
