I've never felt uncomfortable to voice my opinion nor have I been pressured to get a service I did not want. I would say that I am rather particular about the type of nails that I like and everyone at Queenie's has always been able to understand my vision and adjust even minor details. All the employees are so so kind-- if you are introverted, I would like to throw in that I have never been pestered into conversation unless I started it:) The owner, Queenie, is so sweet and talented. I've been coming to Queenie's for years now. While there may be other options in the area that are more affordable or even pricier, I still find myself coming back to Queenies. Nothing beats the quality and care that the nail technicians provide. My most recent visit 01/19/26 with Michelle for my pedicure and another gal who I unfortunately didn't get the name (sorry!) did such a great job with my mani and pedi combo. They definitely took their time and the massage they provided was so relaxing I wanted to cry. I immediately thought that they should open up a separate business for spa like Burke Williams :) Call first especially on the weekends to ensure you get your nails done! They tend to get pretty busy. The vibe is like Burke Williams. Quiet, serene and you feel like you don't want to leave. The products they use is from the brand Eminence Organics. Has a very light scent and not overpowering and full of artificial ingredients. Even when I got home from my spa day, my children and husband really noticed the smell of the products and loved it and asked what it was. I came here maybe 5 years ago to treat a friend to a birthday mani/pedi after hearing rave reviews, but unfortunately, Queenie's didn't live up to the hype. At the time, I felt rushed when choosing my colors and services, and don't remember the staff being particularly friendly. The mani/pedi itself was just okay - not the level of care I expected for the $$$. Now that I've been to other salons with more consistent service, I wouldn't choose to come back here. That said, my experience may be outdated, and I've seen recent reviews that suggest things may have improved since. The salon is not well maintained -- the furniture looks worn out, there were flakes coming off the chair leather, and the client chairs were not very comfortable. Most of the staff is older, so the service is quite slow. Make sure you keep a good amount of time in hand if you visit. Considering all this, I expected the prices to be lower, but that was not the case. I was charged $45 for a gel manicure and an additional $5 to remove previous polish. On top of that, they charge a 3% fee for credit card payments and do not accept Venmo, bringing the total to about $51.50. I used to come here every now and then for nails and pedicures. I've tried a few places but always ended up coming back here. I honestly missed the pedicures! They're friendly and courteous and provide you with their nail colors while you wait. Walk-ins are pretty easy but I liked to call in to double-check since I'm close by. You pay at the end of the service & they also have a point system. This is a very solid place if you have figured out your favorite tech. I usually just went with whoever was available. Last time I went during the holidays they gifted me a cute little goodie bag filled with a pale pink regular polish & cuticle oil. That was nice of them! However I stopped coming here one day after I came for a new set and paid extra for soak-off because I didn't like how they would pry your nails off with a nail tip. Acrylic shouldn't take so long to remove! It wasn't soaking off in the acetone so they ended up filing it down in between soaks until my nails were paper thin. That got me wondering if they are using MMA or EMA monomer with their acrylic. I'm not a professional and it's been so long but idk why it always seemed so much easier watching other nail techs remove acrylic. I always thought it was standard to get a whole new set by prying the entire acrylic off your nails but it damages nails so badly. read more

The nail artists are always accommodating, able to give me the design that I ask for, and easy to talk to. Prices are fair and similar to other nail places in the area. My mom and I went to queenies for her BIRTHDAY this week on Saturday. And let me say the WORST experience ever. This place is good at time then horrible. Not balanced service here My mom went to get her toes done in the morning when they opened and had horrible Service. My mom got her foot almost shaved off. She asked the lady nicely please stop it hurts and she didn't understand or cared. She is now going to the doctor to get it checked out cause it is horrible. I got my nails done in the afternoon and had them looking like I did my own nails... they where 150$ I understand I can refuse to pay but I felt under pressure and was very stressed dude to be there for 3 freakin hours getting them done. I nicely asked for a refund and they kept yelling in the phone saying they don't, I asked them to take off the nails cause I really hated them and for the price oh lord... My moms poor birthday experience here was horrible. After telling them I need something for this service they asked me to come in on Monday and my nails look 100% better my mom got a FREE 65$ nails gift card. My face was feeling cloggy and icky after the Spartan race over the weekend so I called and was able to make a same-day appointment. Cindy did my facial today. She's very kind and thorough with facials. I have very mild acne but have hella black/white heads. She genuinely cares about the condition of your skin and you can certainly tell. The extractions did hurt but I was very thankful that she cleared them out. My face was literally glowing and I wish I had taken a before/after pic because it was that noticeable. The whole experience was relaxing and worth every penny. The skin care line they use is Eminence. It's an organic skin care line that doesn't have any harsh chemicals yet has the greatest outcome.
