I have finally decided to go back and get my nails done. It has been many months and I longed for pretty nails! Thankfully I live v close to this shop so that made it pretty easy to check them out. The vibe is nice and the technicians were kind. They run the shop like any other nail shop. I think it is priced a little higher than what I'm used to but the quality overall makes it worth while. For a gel mani and basic pedi it was $53. My favorite part is the massage chairs and when they massage your calves! All in all I probably won't go anywhere else, I will just have to budget for the splurge when I can! read more

I went and got my nails dipped from this place they charged me $40. The same day one of my nails broke three days later another one broke. I came in to fix them and they could no longer find the color that they used. They wanted me to wear mismatched colors for the next two and a half weeks. I told them that was not an option they could either replace all of my nails or refund my money. They would do neither and they were extremely unprofessional. I really needed to get my nails done and after not having much luck at the place I tried the prior time, I went in search for a new nail salon to try. I have heard of The Nail Lounge so I thought I would give them a shot. I called earlier in the day and made an appointment for 5:30 and informed the gentleman that I wanted an ombre fill. Here are the pros and cons about my experience: Pros: 1. The salon is absolutely gorgeous and so clean!!!! 2. Super friendly staff. The owner, Ben, greeted me and sat down with me to look at my nails. Granted, my nails were in bad shape, so he let me know that I would need a whole new set and it would take around an hour and a half. To save time, instead of having me sit there and soak my nails to get the old acrylic off, he sat and started working on chipping away the acrylic (they were in really bad shape). 3. My tech, Tim, was beyond friendly. Even when we had miscommunication on the shape, he was very patient and even started fresh on a few of my nails with putting new tips on. 4. Time did an ombre dip, which I have never done before. I will say, my nails feel SOOOOO amazing and they look completely natural! I am totally hooked getting dips instead of acrylic. Yes, its $10 more, but its WELL WORTH IT!! The cons: 1. There is a big sign above the entry way door that says they offer complimentary wine, but I was never offered a glass which was disappointing because I was there for 2 hours. I did get offered a glass of water, but that was over an hour in. 2. I am a huge fan of the ombre, but I don't think I will be doing an ombre with dipping. The process is way too long and I am not a huge fan of the speckled look. I like more of a natural look with color and the pink is too pink for me. I will definitely be coming back! My sister and I decided to try this place on a whim and it was well worth it. The salon was modern and clean and had a really great vibe from the moment we walked in. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Neither of us had appointments and they were able to get both of us in right away for a full set and pedicures. We had Jade and Savannah, both of which were great. I like to relax and don't talk a lot during my experience, and Jade was great. On the contrary my sister is a talkative Tina and Savannah chatted with her as if they'd known each other their whole lives. The pricing was about average compared to other salons I've been to and both ladies handled our SNS nails perfectly. Really a great experience and we will both be going back in 4 weeks for fills. read more

Made an appointment for 3 people in the morning and then when we arrived at 4pm they couldn't seat us together. Manicure consisted of a 30 second massage and a sloppy paint job. This place is so cute and clean. I got SNS dip gel manicure and it turned out great! The nail technician i saw was Paula and i will definitely be scheduling with her for my regular appts. This place is very busy so i would suggest making an appointment in advance, however i showed up an hour before closing and even though they were busy they still saw me which makes me think highly of them that they didn't turn a customer down just so they could close on time. I love this place! I've been coming for over a year now. Serena always does my nails and she is amazing. I feel comfortable enough to tell her my ideas for nail design or ask for her opinion and have her choose for me when I can't think of anything new to try. I get dip powder nails and they last a very long time. I try not to let it go past 2 1/2 weeks but I've gone almost as long as 3 weeks and except for growth, my nails still look good! It can get pretty busy on the weekends, but they attend you quickly or let you know how long the wait will be. Everyone is nice and can speak English well. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. Very pretty place inside. However, their nail polish is cheap stuff. Four of us went in a few days ago. Some of us got a pedicure and a manicure and the polish chipped off, fades, changes colors and bubbles up. Either the product they use is horrible or they just don't know how to apply it. Some of the people are very sweet and friendly taking their time making you feel like you're getting your moneys worth while some of the workers are very grumpy and quick at what they're doing. When you call to go back in to have them redo your nails they all seem very angry that they have to redo it. A word to The Nail Lounge, "It is not our fault if we have to go back in for a redo right after, so you might want to try to be nice so your customers want to come back after the mistake that has been made." Next time try saying, I'm very sorry let us fix this we would like your service again instead of being mean and treating us like were robbing you. read more

Their service was good however my pedicure looked like this one day after my vacation( I got my toes done Tuesday and It is only Saturday ) I also had one of my acrylics break out of no where. I didn't even notice until I looked at my hand and this was two days after I got them done. I definitely think it was due to poor application because I at least should've felt it if I was the reason it broke off. I have gotten an acrylic set from them before and almost all my nails started splitting in the middle. I thought I would give them a second chance but now I'm upset I wasted my money on a job I could've done. Definitely would not recommend. Your nails won't even last a week. My sisters an mother got their nails done at a total different salon and they had no problem and yes they used regular nail polish as well. So I know it's not because of me. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It is very beautiful inside. This was the worst pedicure EVER! They clipped my cuticle and cut my toe when they cut my nail. They didn't say anything and I am not one to make a big deal so I didn't say anything. But it hurt for a good week. I took my 3 year old to get her nails polished for the first time. They charged me for a full pedicure and manicure. SHE IS 3! They didn't even massage her legs because I asked for no lotion because her eczema is bad. Her nails were all chipped off by the next day. Extremely, extremely disappointed in the service I received today. I have a newborn at home and went in just hoping to have a nice pedicure with a massage on my sore legs/feet. I opted for the $45 (!!) pedicure because it states that it comes with a hot stone massage (word for word). And, I paid an up charge for gel. Unfortunately, the "hot stone massage" was literally a rubbing of the stones one time down each calf. I'm not even kidding. So, being incredibly disappointed with this for the $15 difference from the basic pedicure, I mentioned this to the manager. She proceeded to tell me that that's the only hot stone massage they can do - because of the hot stones they can't actually "massage" them... you can imagine my frustration with their menu stating "massage" and then frankly a blatant lie about what can be done with a hot stone... I've had several hot stone massages in my life so I know what that entails... they proceeded to charge me full price ($60) for my services. Absolutely unreal. While I was in there, another customer was also upset about a problem with her service. I certainly do not recommend, I won't be back, and I'll be telling all my friends about this experience. At first I was excited to try this new nail salon in my neighborhood. I even called ahead and made an appointment and asked if they carried SNS dip powder. They said yes. I was really excited about not having to drive 20 minutes to my regular place. My pedicure was nice but they use prepackaged pedicure packs. The sugar scrub was not very exfoliating. I started my manicure and they pulled out Nugenisis dip powders. I told them that this is not what I wanted. The manager, I believe, told me that there was vitamins mixed into this powder already. I looked at the jar and found none listed. So, he lied to me. He showed me some SNS jars but said he only had a small quantity in stock and no vitamin powder. I'm so disappointed and upset that he lied to my face. I will see how this stuff lasts but I am willing to pay a premium price for a premium product. read more
