Used to come here years ago. They used to do such a great job and the employees were friendly. I'm not sure if they changed management but the last few times I've come, they were more pushy for me to buy services I didn't need. I stopped going there and took my business elsewhere. Today, I thought I'd stop by and give them a chance. I was only stopping by to get my nails filed down a bit from a previous nail dip. They told me the wait would be about an hour and I said I would wait as I saw they were busy. The lady seemed annoyed and said there was nobody and she wouldn't know how long the wait would be. I'm normally not this far away from home but I joined a friend to get a pedicure. This is her usual spot. They definitely do regular manicures, gel manicures and acrylics. I got a pedicure and I'm sure I got upsold a few times not that I minded, wanted everything they offered (callous removal, check, extra leg massage, check, flower on toes, check), but it was weird that they use plastic in the tubs so then there are no jacuzzi bubbles because of that. I guess that's the way to keep it really clean though, so I am happy about that. I was tired of having boy hands and decided to start up getting my nails done with acrylics. The lady who does my Moms hair had the most beautiful pink and white set and I asked who did them. I also took a picture with my cell phone. She gave me a card and told me to ask for Nancy. I went in and asked for her and showed her the picture of the hairdressers nails. Nancy was very sweet and was very flattered that I was so impressed by her work. The nails were perfect and painless! The salon is clean and well maintained. I overheard that they mop with bleach in the water regularly to keep the bacteria gone. Today was my third full set and I am thrilled with her work as always. I have had back surgery and the last time I was there, the owner walked across the lot to Anna's Linnens and bought a pillow for my back to ease my pain sitting. Talk about VIP service! I was reading some of the reviews and I think some of you are writing reviews for the wrong place. The Nail Spa is located next Verizon and Super Cuts. I've been coming here for close to five years. The manager lady can be brusque but aren't all nail places like that? I always see Jennifer for my pedicure. I call ahead just to make sure she's there. If the place is empty, she'll really take her time with the massage and whatnot, if it's crowded, she rushes, but my toes still look good. She doesn't chit chat as often as the others. I have no complaints regarding Jennifer and I recommend her. I recommend coming during the week and if possible during the day because it tends to get crowded. Parking is never a problem. Pedicures are $15 which is a bargain in my opinion, so come on down and treat yourself. You deserve it! read more

Located in the huge center that houses Walmart. It's closer to the Wendy's verses the Habit. I came in as a walk-in during my lunch and they were able to accommodate me. With that said, I would still recommend making an appointment. There were a significant amount of people present and I was surprised that they had enough staff to accommodate them all at once. I got a pedicure with a French tip. They did it well and charged me $21 for it which isn't the cheapest but isn't the most expensive either. Overall it was pleasant and quick experience. As much as I want to come back to this place I loved I just can't do it . After going else where There is many place who do the same thing with much more designs and gel polish to choose from . they do NOT have a good variety of gel. It's very minimal. They do not do ombré nails with powder just gel polish. They over charge for design" if they can "do it. And it's even more then other places in the area for one nail go to a place that is trendy cause you will spend about 45+ here . I'm sure you can find that else where. They do a good job at keeping the nails to last for about 2-3weeks however They lack a lot of Color range and gel polishes and their regular nail polishes are a lot of them dried out and old.. read more

I have been coming here the last few months as I just moved in the neighborhood. I've had a total of 3 pedicures and all but 1 were amazing! I've waxed my eyebrows here, in which, I was not happy. Wendy by far was the best nail tech to do my pedicure! I always get the deluxe because why not? The second lady that did my pedicure, I'm not sure of her name but it was also good. I did my pedicure on 12/21 by Bella. She was nice but from early on I figured it was not going to be what I had been anticipating for all week. She poked too deep when cutting my skin. Then she cut my nails short using the cuticle cutters then filed them too low. I did ask her to stop because she was filing so low it was burning my skin. She said your nails are not even, I told her that I didnt care because she had already cut them too low. Then she did the sugar scrub, which the other ladies massaged while doing this. I honestly don't know what she was doing. She rinsed my leg, didnt dry completely then proceeded to out lotion on my wet legs. Again, not sure what she was thinking. Then when she put the lotion, again, no massage. Then she dried my legs after the hot towel. My toes were wet in between and she was going to start painting the nails. I asked her to dry in between my toes because that's how people get athletes foot. She brushed the towel over my toes. At 8 1/2 months pregnant I had to bend over and dry in between my toes for her. I will go back because this was my first bad experience but just because people do walk ins doesn't mean customers should be made to feel that they dont matter and they can be rushed in and out! read more

Not a 3, not a 4, but a 3.5 Let's start off by saying I'm picky. I'm cautious. I'm, well conservative when it comes to nail spas due to the hygienics if you know what I mean...I visited the other chain location in Cerritos and didn't care for their chain-type of atmosphere but I read my fellow Yelpers' reviews and wanted to give it a try. Anywho, the place looked clean and it was clean. I was seated promptly after walking in during the evening and I appreciated being attended to by two nail technicians while receiving a spa pedicure and gel manicure. The gel mani colors are really great, not many places offer so many colors and I was impressed. One thing I didn't like was the fact that my mani nail technician kept getting up to answer the phone during the manicure so I felt like I wasn't given priority service but oh well. I really liked the spa pedi, I got some type of scrub instead of lotion during my foot massage and that was very refreshing (I wasn't charged extra for it either it seemed part of the pedi deal). After that, I got a warm towel wrapped around my legs which felt great! I know that a language barrier can sometimes exist but I think it's good customer service to try and talk to the customer but my lady just chatted away with her co-workers between answering the phone, so that kind of irked me. My arms got kinda of tired from having to be held up while she painted them since I was getting the gel mani at the spa pedicure station, there is obviously not a front-facing table so each of my hands had their own UV lights to go under on either side too. Overall, it was a good experience. It's been a week later and the gel is still intact and I keep getting compliments on the color I chose. The nail technician also helped me chose a polish for my toesies which closely resembled the gel polish I chose for my hands, kudos for that! The only other little thing I didn't care too much for was the fact that the woman who did my pedi started cleaning the spa bowl while I was still sitting at the spa waiting for my toes to dry, so the spray she was using to clean the bowl was getting on the bottom of my pants. I hope there wasn't bleach in that cleaner for the sake of my pants but then again I hope there was bleach in the cleaning spray for the sake of the cleanliness of the pedicure bowl! The lady starts to take out my ingrown which I didn't mind bc I normally do it myself but she took off some of my skin and kept digging bc she said there was still nail inside, at that point my toe just started to bleed and I've never bleed that much before and I had asked her to stop and she continued and I asked her to also clean the excess paint bc it looked like a lil kid painted my toes. So I asked the lady if she could clean it which took more time and I was in a short time spand. I was just going to leave like that but they insisted I stay so she can fix it but ended up making it worse bc they filed the excess paint with a electric file which took off my more than my cuticle. I've come here often enough so I thought I'd add my 2 cents. I really like this place. They do tend to clean the bowl while you're waiting for the polish to dry. I haven't had a problem with that. One major tip: you have to know which technician to ask for! They're all good but if you want awesome and even looking eyebrows, ask for Jade. She really knows what she's doing with hot wax. I've gone to other techs or places to save a buck and always come back to Jade. She can tell when I've let someone else mess with my eyebrows, too! LOL Jade does pretty awesome pedies and manies. Lin is a very popular tech, too. I've had her do my toes and she's good but I like Jade better. I suggest you call and make an appointment specially if you want Jade or Lin do to anything for you on a weekend. These two are in high demand for their quality work. The color choices are okay. But the gel colors are really good and they will help you find a color that closely matches the gel for your toes. I've been told that you can get the gel on your feet though I've not seen it done. Recently, I took my own polish which I ended up adding to the tip of another color they had. Nothing fancy but they worked with me and I appreciate that. They do charge to use a card - can't remember how much - which I've done and left the tip on the card. I found out later that when you leave the tip on the card, the establishment keeps half!!! So from then on, I make sure I carry at least enough cash to leave a tip. read more

I was in desperate need to fix my finger nail so I went here giving it a shot. I read bad reviews but I thought I to give it a chance myself. worse experience to get my nails done. the ladies go to work wearing a nice sundress & 5 in heels. it looks like that they were more into their looks than work. I asked to get my finger fixed but instead of using tools she used her own finger nail! prior to fixing my nail she was doing inventory but she did not wash her hands. it was very unsanitary for her to do that. then they were very tough filing it down. She also messed with one of my fingers that didn't needed fixing but she decided too. I was very upset because the finger that didn't need to be fixed was already short but she decided to file it shorter. Overall the are unsanitary and do not understand to fix only what you need too! it's cheap but a cheap experience won't make it better for the service I got! read more

They have some "higher end" nail polishes but only a handful but I bring my own often times so its not a problem.
