The ladies at this nail salon do a wonderful job. I've been several times now for both manicures and pedicures, and I can't recommend them enough. Unlike most places that do a minimal 3 minute massage they do a wonderful, long massage that truly relaxes you and leaves you wondering if you just somehow added on more, yet that's just they're typical, amazing service. The polish job is meticulous, and they really seem to care about you being happy with the color and service they've provided. They offer a wide variety of colors, including matte gel polish which I just recently tried and am in love with. They were able to accommodate my daughter and I for a walk in afternoon pedicure. Wonderful selection of polish colors. Nail kit is only $1 if you don't have one to bring with. The foot bath and massage were soothing and amazing. Nail trim and polish were meticulous and my feet look and feel about 20 years younger. read more

Although the service was super friendly, the quality is just not there. I could have done a neater job at home, truthfully. I was willing to take the smudging and unevenly painted nails if at least the polish held for a week or two, but 3 days later the manicure is already chipping! Kind and excellent service. They are quick and clean with a great color variety. I have gotten both mani and pedi here with my aunty and my daughter. Great for all ages. Before I even came here as a customer i had a long splinter under my nail from my garden bed. I did my best to dig it out and went shopping. I saw they were open and popped in and asked if they could help me and they did! It took her five minutes to get the remaining splinter, was painless, and didn't even charge me and told me to come back if it happens again. Thank you!!! read more

This nail salon has been in the community for a very long time. I hadn't visited in a while and decided to give it a try with my sister-in-law. We walked in around 2pm on a weekday and were lucky to get a spot right away. They were very gentle with my cuticle beds as discussed and did a wonderful job on both pedicures. I have NEVER had a negative experience. My services have been exceptional both manicure and pedicures. The employees are so friendly, thoughtful and nice. They go above and beyond providing excellent services. The owner is very professional and would NEVER refuse talking to a customer. Their whole objective is for the customer to have a professional, relaxed experience. I find this review insulting and untrue. Please experience this wonderful salon for yourself. This nail salon is the very best !! I have been coming for 18 years ! The Technicians are cheerful and skilled, the massages lengthy and heavenly. Longtime Tech Tracey Nguyens family has purchsed the shop recently and Tracey is now managing. They have freshened up and it looks lovely as well as spottlessly clean. I am 68 and had NO concerns about covid because they are taking extraordinary measures to protect customers. Techs wear masks, they have dividers between techs and customers and spend a good amount of time changing gloves and disinfecting all surfaces customers touch between each client. Outstanding service all around. I highly recomend them !! I have never had my nails done here, but I go for the eyebrow waxing. The same woman always does it, I don't need an appt, I am usually out the door within 15-20 min, and my brows look great. Whenever I come here, it is always very busy with pedicures so I assume they do a nice job with that as well. read more

I've been going there for years and I love it. No bells and whistles, just nice, long, relaxing pedicures and manicures.

I really like this salon. It's right up the street from where in live. It is small but since they don't do acrylic nails they don't need much space. Usually I go here for pedicures, they are only $20! I've had two shellac manicures too, both times I got an awesome message with it. The pricing is lower than anywhere else I've been and for what they do it is well worth it! The ladies are very friendly, ask me questions but aren't overly chatty. To be honest I'd rather not have a full on conversation when I am trying to relax. No complaints here! To the one who complained about paying $1 for a nail file, that is very common and it's for sanitary reasons. 90% of the salons I've been to follow this practice. You keep it and bring it next time, simple as that. I'd rather pay a dollar than have a communal nail file used on my feet. read more

I want to say firstly that they were very accommodating to us as walk-ins when we arrived, as there were signs on the door saying no walk-ins, appointments only. My technician did a wonderful job with my nails and was very sweet and diligent, and the prices were reasonable. With that being said, I was very distracted and concerned by the behavior of one of the workers present. She didn't put on a mask at all (the salon is very small, about the size of my living room). She proceeded to eat, breathe with her mouth open, cough, and literally floss her teeth while we were 6 ft away from her... I would like to go back because of how great my technician was, but the safety and hygiene concerns are too much for me. I hope in the future all present in their shop wear masks and avoid flossing their teeth in front of customers. read more

I don't typically get manicures because they always hurt me but this place was amazing! Efficient yet incredibly relaxing, and my nails looks great. I got a pedicure while I got a manicure, so efficient, and after she did my nails I got a wonderful shoulder/neck massage. They also massaged my arms/hands and legs/feet. The massage felt so good that I honestly didn't care how my nails turned out, but they turned out perfectly. Seriously, I don't even have a small complaint about them. The technicians were very detail oriented and attentive, fixing any small mistakes before I even noticed they were there. I'm so mad that I only found this place two weeks before I'm moving out of state, so I figured I'd write a review so that other people could enjoy their services. Do not go here. It may be cheap and it may always have a chair open, but the women working here are rude, dishonest, and abrupt. They hardly converse with customers, instead talking amongst themselves in Vietnamese. The space itself is very small, and all the manicures and pedicures are done in padded leather chairs with plastic tubs for your feet. The massage is off-putting. I don't find getting smacked in the shins very relaxing. Having your cuticles picked at till they bleed isn't fun either. I worry about cleanliness, I've seen them preparing food of some kind in there while customers were getting buffed, filed, and polished. The other downside to it being a small place is you'll get rushed out as soon as the top coat's applied. My main reason for never returning though, is the dishonesty. I got a pedicure. I had $60 in my pants pocket when I sat down. I paid with my card and gave a cash tip, putting the moneys back in my pocket. When I got to my car, I realized the money had fallen out. I immediately returned. I re-walked the 10 steps from my car to the door, no money. Checked my purse and other pockets, no money. I went inside and explained my money must have fallen out when I'd gotten up, did anyone find it? "No, we no find any money." Someone thought they deserved a $60 tip. Well, Hillsdale Nail Place will never get my money again, intentionally or if it falls out of my pocket. read more

These ladies will BEAT THE HELL out of your calves. I don't know why they do it. I guess it's part of their massage technique or whatever, but it hurts! I keep going back though. I've never had a bad pedicure from these girls, and I've paid a lot more to get one in other places. It's not by any means a deluxe spa facility, but they're competent, and it's only $20. Manicure and pedicure here are decent enough, not bad but not phenomenal, however, what blows this place outta the water and sets the bar way higher than all other nail places in town is their massage! Deep tissue leg & foot massage included in my only $20 pedicure, oh and deep tissue shoulder massage AND full arm massage with my only $15 manicure, Yes Please. Awful experience, thank god I had to take an important phone call that got me out. This is a local salon that I was stoked to finally try. I tried calling when they opened, didn't pick up until 15 minutes after. I walked in after getting the okay that I didn't need an appointment and took a seat. Kinda strange they don't say hello to people as they walk into their facility. The nail tech starts to file my nails, with old red nail polish on my nails(?).....then continues to file them so short they're completely raw? WTF.......I left two hours ago now and they hurt SO bad! That's as far as the appointment got because it was that much of a joke. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else where you walk in and they say hi and employee people who know how to file nails. read more

Every time I go in no matter who does my nails I always have a fantastic experience. They always do an outstanding job on my nails and although their massage is a bit rough you can ask them to be gentler and they will be. Their prices are extremely reasonable as well so I can leave them more of a tip and still not spend an outrageous amount of money. I would definitely reccomend them to anybody :) read more

I went in on Sunday and got a pedicure and shellac manicure. Unfortunately by Monday (a day I was traveling for business), 3 nails peeled off without me doing anything to cause that. It was disappointing and caused me to have to get my nails done again when I arrived at my destination. Secondly I didnt feel like the place was super clean, when I was asked to sit in my chair there was already an inch or two of water at the bottom of my foot bath. It wasnt emptied until I asked for it to be. On some positive notes, the ladies here are friendly and funny, and they give amazing massages. Unfortunately I dont know that I would go back. read more

I was so bummed my last pedicure didn't last as long as it usually does. I went to Radiance Nails and they typically go for a few extra weeks. So, between pedis - and a trip to Maui approaching I didn't really want to go quite yet, but I couldn't stand to look at my outgrown pedi and a shoddy attempt to cover up gaps with my own handiwork. I stopped into Nails Place, first time, it was a hair after six and they were open 'til 7. They welcomed me in. I just wanted a pedicure. They didn't try to upsell me they just went to work. They have a nice selection colors. It's a pretty small space but it wasn't crowded, a good clientele of gals getting their piggys painted. Their reception was warm. At the end, as I was inspecting, I noticed polish slopped on my skin one some of the smaller piggys. The tech. was kind to fix and I was there just a bit longer. A nice simple salon, no frills. I would return. Oh, the best was the massage on my feet and legs. read more

Really cute spot, staff is friendly and the prices are fair. But this was the WORST manicure I've ever gotten. I had to ask my nail tech 4-5 times to fix the shape of my nail, she left jagged edges multiple times when supposed to be rounding them. The gel polish was everywhere around my nails, the clear coat completely encasing all the one to the skin. I asked her to fix a few times and ended up feeling bad and awkward, I could tell she thought it was fine. I'm normally not super picky, but I had to peel layers of polish back on my skin and file it down to fix it myself. It still looks horrible. Total waste of money. I won't go here again. read more

1.) GREAT pedicure 2.) Awful, horrible manicure. Worst I have ever had. Looked like a child had done it. I came here on my birthday drawn in by the $15 manicure, $25 pedicure. A mistake! Never in my life have I had such a bad manicure... I'm talking smudgy, not clipped?, immediately chipped. Just your basic manicure too; i didn't ask for gels or whatever. She briefly asked if I wanted a little flower decal on my big toes. I said yes, and was surprised at the $5.00 addition to my bill (not mentioned by her). There was also a $1 fee for the Emory board she used? Needless to say, never going back here again. read more

I won't be returning to The Nails Place. This was the second attempt to trying them. I went to the plaza and asked them if they could accommodate a pedidure. The main woman said ten minutes, I returned around 10-15 as I was in the plant store next door. I was ushered to a chair and the service was so rushed. The main woman didn't use the pumice stone and hardly used the cuticle tool. Then another employee finished polishing and I asked her if I could have the pumice used on my feet, this was after toes were painted. The second woman was really sweet, I think she was embarrassed for the poor service the first woman provided me. One of the reasons the main woman didn't finish on me is because a couple came in that had an appointment. I'm pretty understanding when things are communicated to me up front. It's not worth the obstacle course because of lack of communication from them. Never returning! read more
