Okay.., we love this place! We are in town for a medical appointment at MD Anderson and we found this restaurant on Yelp. We are in food heaven! Mona, our waitress was so sweet and gave us great recommendations. I had a chocolate martini and a coconut carajillo and both were out of this world. Their fresh baked rolls were the best I've ever had. We ordered an appetizer tequenos and we had to save some to take home so that we still had an appetite. Delicious! The Nash burger and Chicken radiatore was truly delicious. We ordered the Carmel apple pizza for dessert and we are stuffed but very happy! The assistant manager Rosa came over to speak with us about our experience and we told her we can't say enough amazing things about The Nash! We wish we had this place in California! Outstanding service, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. We were in town for surgery procedure and this restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel (the JW). We ordered the pappardelle, the bucatini, banana cake, lentil soup and beet salad. Everything was fabulous. The bread they serve was incredible also. All the food came out in perfect timing, there was no long wait in between starters and main, waters were topped off non stop, and the staff was quick to remove empty dishes and check in with us. The gentleman that topped off our waters was super sweet and attentive all evening. We couldn't find anything to complain about about this restaurant. We had an awesome experience thanks to the wonderful and hard working staff. We will definitely come back next time we are in town! read more

Opening night at the Nash and already obsessed. Super nice on the inside. The owners came and introduced themselves. Great people!!!! Rosy and Jose the managers, very sweet! Donald was a great server. Variety of a menu which I love. Two big tv's at the bar. Started with old fashions and giving them a 10/10. Very balanced. Starters of the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo and the Taters Tots. BOTH INCREDIBLE. For dinner, had the Herb Roasted Chicken and my fiancé had the burger. Again, INCREDIBLE!! Will be back.... a lot hahaha!! We ended up doing curbside pickup since the weather was getting colder this past weekend. We ordered the grilled snapper and rack of lamb. Both entrees were good. We asked for the lamb medium rare and it was cooked medium but still good. My biggest complaint is the lack of organized service. We called to let them know we were outside and we got disconnected. Called them back and said they got our order, but we were still waiting outside. After about 5 minutes we called back for a third time and they got the wrong name on the order hence the delay in them bringing it out. Once we got the food, they forgot the 2 sides that came with the lamb. I ended up having to run in to ask for the sides they forgot. We were able to get them but I don't know if I'll be back since the service was so disorganized. read more

I really wanted to love this place because the staff was so friendly, but the food didn't live up to the hype. We ordered the tater tots, wild mushroom toast, and the cauliflower paneer curry. The tater tots could have had more sauce and toppings to it. Something seemed to be missing and then our server brought the shredded cheese on the side. The cauliflower paneer was definitely not paneer. It was grilled halloumi (see pic). The rice was over cooked and the naan had a weird smell to it like it had been sitting out too long. We made a reservation for Friday night and were worried when there was hardly any there on arrival. However, the food was very very good. The appetizers came out timely and they were very tasty. My girlfriend and I took a mutual friend here for her birthday dinner and it's very nice!!! My girlfriend had the Short Rib Pappardelle, the birthday girl ordered the House Pizza, and I wanted to keep it simple so I went with the Nash Burger. We all decided to go with different wines by the glass as they had a good selection with reasonable prices and we all liked our choices (which you can't always say when doing wine by the glass). Nice place, food was great. Service, however, was horrific We chose to sit outside wince it was a nice day. The place was not busy, nor did they look short staff, but the waitress took 30-45 minutes each time she came to take our drink/food order, even getting our check took forever. During the waiting intervals, various staff would come out and ask if everything was okay. Although, it wasn't their job, we would tell them that we are waiting on our waitress to get our order, and they would kindly take it for us. Again, it wasn't their job, but they put more attention to us then the actual waitress. When I got the check, I went inside to pay, thinking I would get quicker service. I did, but I was charged twice because they forgot to add the gratuity. If you do decide to visit them, try sitting inside or at the bar, maybe you'll get prompt service. read more

Brought my sister and husband here for dinner before the rockets game. I had made reservations but we opted to sit at the bar instead. Corey was the bartender and waitress who helped us. She was awesome--very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. My sister and I started off with a refreshing glass of Rose while my BIL had an IPA beer. They have several great wine, beer and cocktail options. For appetizers we ordered a charcuterie board and opted for only cheese and also ordered tater tots. The cheese was all really good with a good mix of firm and semi firm cheeses. The tater tots were delicious. If I was at home i would've licked the bowl clean. Happy hour was also going on so for my entree I ordered the bottle and pizza option, which was a margarita pizza with a bottle of wine for $30. Such a great deal and the pizza was one of the best I've ever had! The bottle of wine was a great deal too. My sister ordered the tuna roll and kindly requested to have it pan seared instead of fried. Erick was very accommodating and did an awesome job. My BIL ordered the salmon risotto. Again, this place blew it out of the water...soooo good!! We wish we could've stayed longer but ended up having to leave to make it to the rockets game on time. We were really looking forward to trying this place, but I will say that it was a one and done for us. Pacing is key and they don't understand that. We ordered drinks, then appetizers and our meal. We had a wonderful valentine's dinner at The Nash!! We opted for the four course prix fixe which was very reasonably priced and came with a glass of bubbly. We both loved the mushroom toast, filet mignon, and lemon olive oil cake. The highlight though was the Korean bacon - the flavor and texture was insanely good. They were a little busy due to the holiday so our 3rd and 4th courses were a little slower to come out but we were enjoying the ambience of the space anyway. I've been wanting to try this place since they opened, and I'm so glad I finally did. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we returned for dinner the same day! Alvin the owner met us at our table and made sure everything was to our liking. The wait staff was excellent and attentive. The Nash Burger had an aggressive char that created a mighty flavorful dish. The burger is accompanied with lightly fried (tempura maybe?) Parmesan fries. Overall an excellent burger. Cauliflower curry was very good but seems somewhat out of place on the menu. The short rib pappardelle was great, but my only complaint would be half the noodles had clumped together and was not noticed by the kitchen team. The Nash cocktail was smooth and refreshing on the patio. Great location, great staff, and great food. Wow where can I begin! I'm so confused as to where these high reviews are coming from . We didn't order off of HRW because it was cheaper to order the exact same thing separately. Everything we ate was bland with the execution of the short rib pasta! I had the cauliflower curry and it didn't taste like it had any spices or even salt!! It was a bland excuse for a curry. We had the lemon olive oil cake for dessert which was a hit on YELP and was a FLOP in real life. It was the strangest spongy texture and tasted like it was defrosted! The waiter was very short with us also, we complained about the cake and they brought us the cheesecake instead which also tasted defrosted and flavorless. The strawberries on top were wilted. The color of the cheesecake looked like a beige soap. Will not be coming back! read more
