Expect a line. But seriously, it's worth it. Every freaking time I saw The North Face store, there was a long line of people waiting to get in; but finally, I sucked it up the last hour of the store being open - and left with a bunch of goods. If you're a fan of North Face, you'll love the selection here. At a discounted price! We all know North Face can be spendy, so if you're in the area and have come this far already, you best get what you see. It'll sell out. The women's and men's selection were way more than I thought, and was able to find a lot of items I was looking for. I left with an insulated jacket, a rain jacket shell, sweat pants, snow boots and a thin fleece hoodie. I could've left with more, but really wanted to just get items I needed rather than wanted. The day I visited all their down jackets were 40% off and fleeces were 30% off. If you don't see a size in stock, the staff is happy to check in the back for you. In fact, despite how busy it was, employees were super friendly. I'm glad I finally decided to check out The North Face store here. I heard many people rave about the outlet, and can totally see why after visiting. Again, it's definitely worth the wait if you're a North Face fan, as the prices are significantly discounted with day-of promotions. read more

Great place to find some off season stuff, and great sales. The only reason why it's a -1 star was the jackets price difference because that it's possibly a "newer" version of the jacket? Say what? The issue was that the hubs purchased a thermaball jacket with a hood for $80 - it was the same price regardless of the inclusion of a hood. However, when I found a hooded version for the female version - it was $120 and the non hooded was $80. When I asked, the cashier said it was possible that the women's version was a newer version. One person wanted to return there's,brand new in the original unopened pkg,I had the reciept etc. Oh we can't give back cash because you used a debit card. Update: So, I'm actually going to dock them a couple stars. After calling them about the security tag they left on my jacket, they said they couldn't remove it because I don't have my receipt anymore. Again, I bought this jacket in June and it's now August and I just now wore it...I don't hold onto receipts for that long...do you? I offered my credit card receipt as proof of purchase, and after being placed on three times, the girl finally said that if I come back in (it's a 30 mile drive, mind you...) with my credit card statement, my driver's license, and something else that I can't remember, I can talk to a manager and "they will see what they'd do for me." The girl was nice and all, but this whole dilemma was caused by their carelessness. I certainly don't appreciate being treated like a potential shoplifter because of it. It's a white jacket - anyone know of a fool proof way to get this thing off myself without blasting ink all over the place?? read more

Apparently if you are here during close to the end of business hours it is their policy to inform you how much they don't value your business and would prefer that you drop everything and leave 5 minutes before closing time instead of finishing your shopping and leaving at 9. Someone even tried coming in 5 minutes before they closed and I saw them kick her out. REI or any other outdoor retailer would never be this rude or have the customer service issues that people keep pointing out on Yelp. But I suppose North Face isn't a real outdoor retailer either. Unfortunately without my North Face backpack I guess I won't be the coolest kid chasing down my outdoor pursuits from one side of campus all the way to the other... read more

This location has a limited selection of items, as it is pretty small as far as North Face outlet stores go. It is really hit or miss. The customer service is really good at checkout - the guys up there are always super friendly and get to chatting with the customer to make them feel like they're getting personalized service, however the girl on the floor this week was less than helpful. They have a new policy that all jackets must be tried on outside of the fitting rooms, meaning you have to find an available mirror that doesn't already have some family perched all around it, then plop your stuff down, remove the outerwear you're already wearing, find a place to hang that up, and finally, at last catch a glimpse of yourself in a sale jacket. I came here with the idea that I was going to spend my whole pay check... However, what I found was a lot of great savings. Both times I've been here to pick up a shell jacket and a winter jacket. I was met with surprise and decent prices on waterproof gear. Dryvent, Hyvent or anything else goes for decent discounts at this place. If you go the website or main store in Downtown Seattle, you'll definitely go broke. Not here says that Happy guy with two thumps up!! This guy, that is! First time, I spent around $150.00 on goretex with a lifetime warranty, you have to register it. If the goretex tears, breaks, or anything you can have it replaced through goretex. I found that out after talking to the cashiers & sales people. Second time, I took my mother here to get a shell. She found that the ladies side doesn't have a lot of offer since its picked through fairly quick. So she found a great shell on the men's side and it fit better for her shape and size. We spent less than $70.00 with tax. Amazing! I think so. I'll let you decide, once you've been there. The staff here are super friendly, also a pro-tip make sure to remember the person who helps you pick out your jacket or answers your questions. These people live off sales and point it out to the cashier. Parking is fairly easy here, they even have a parking lot "Security Tower" over looking the lot, keeping your car safe. I laughed my butt off since it looks like it's something out of Top Gun the movie... Never in my life have I seen anything that funny. read more

They had a sale and there we were, looking at so many jackets and of course, my husband found a jacket that matches his green sneakers. I got a fleece jacket that came in handy for the Seattle weather all weekend. We walked out of there spending a lot less than we thought so that's a great thing. Found a jacket I liked, went to checkout. The only guy there was counting his till. Did not look up for even a split second but did call for someone else to help us. 3 minutes later, someone finally came and immediately helped the NEXT customer while we were left waiting. We immediately objected, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry" in the most dismissive way possible. All he had to do was signal to the other cashier that we were waiting. SIMPLE... but I guess too simple for STUPID people. Instead of making a scene, we waited for this transaction to finish...and waited...and waited. After almost 10 minutes of them bungling, my wife went to talk to the manager who only offered another meaningless apology. The CORRECT play here would have been to take the item and ring us up himself but that didn't happen. So, while I did very much like the jacket, I disliked this level of service more. We abandoned the transaction and left. All these apologies but absolutely no action whatsoever to correct the problem. I would say that this store and brand are dead to me but that's not true as I will now go out of my way to steer people clear of North Face. read more

Bought a couple boys coats for my sons birthday. Staff gave me a hassle and was extremely rude about tribal member no tax and grilling me on whether my son was actually with me or not! You're telling me I have to have my son with me to buy his frickin birthday present even though my name is on his ID? Give me a break! I won't spend my money here again, I'll head to the Columbia outlet where they are much more friendly, and have policies that make sense. read more

Horrible customer services. Will never buy from this store again. I bought a pair of snow boots here but found one shoe lace is missing. When I came back with a receipt (yep, it might be my mistake that I did not bring the shoes with me, asking for the other shoe lace, the sales associate first offer me a different pair of shoe lace, which I did not want. He then would not give me anything. When I talked to his supervisor, I was told that it was the store's policy that he could not give me anything without "seeing the shoes", even if I presented him the receipt. He said that he could not make their product in store a defect one! See! He is willing to hurt an existing customer, in order to protect their benefit. This is the point! It was them to put a "defect" product on sale in the first place. His explanation made no sense to me. If this reflects this store's value, I would never buy, and never recommend anybody buy from this store. read more

I was looking forward to buying a couple of things there, but the cold customer service received changed my mind. I had asked a few times for help and what i assume is a manager because she has just finished going over a schedule, looked at me up and down and acted like it was a chore. The staff I came across seemed to have the same attitude. I've worked in retail before for over 5 years, I'm definitely understanding and sensitive to asking someone for assistance when they are clearly busy or in the middle of something. So I really wanted a new North Face vest and flannel so I decided to brave the drive and go up to the outlets. And I am so glad I did. I got there at 7pm on a Friday night, they are open until 9 pm, and immediately was on the hunt. They only had bright pink vests in stock but one of the workers, Sarah, asked me what I was looking for and told me they had a black vest in the back that didn't have pricing yet so it wasn't on the floor, but that she would bring it to me and if I liked it she would try to get it approved to be sold by her manager. I immediately loved the vest. Sarah was so great and I had such a great experience. I also got a fleece as well so I total for a vest and fleece I spent only $80 which is wonderful when the vest itself was normally $119. Such a great deal. I will be back for sure. read more

I am very disappointed on how Cecilia cashier took my questions as a joke, I had asked her for one of the price of the jackets I've picked out and she told me it was $42.50 I told that I found it in the 39.99 section. She told be that I could of gotten it from behind the racks. I told her I got it from the exact location where I had told her I had found it from. Not only I was accused of finding the jacket somewhere else but turned away and didn't ask me if I still like to purchase the jacket and just put it into the bag. My friends, wife and I decided to stop by The North Face store at this location, on the way home from Vancouver. We arrived at 6:30 pm, knowing the Outlet will be closing at 7:00 pm, we decided we would visit Nike store then to North Face. At 6:45 we ran over to North Face store, as we got to the door we were greeted by a employee telling us we cannot come in anymore because they were closing. Basically, we were not welcome anymore. I looked inside the store and seen good amount of shoppers still inside. We walked away very disappointed. We decide to go back to Nike store and entered with minutes left before closing with no issue. Nike employees were as helpful as if the store just opened. I guess The North Face does not honor Outlet hours nor do they have same level of customer service as other stores. read more

This is a good-sized store with a nice selection of North Face jackets, fleeces, ski pants, and so on. My friend made out like a bandit, scoring an insulated jacket and a fleece for under $100! That said, there isn't a ton of help available, and I had no luck finding any larger sizes. The store feels a little chaotic. read more

I have been in here a few times and each time has been great. They always have "weekly" deals and sales. Employees always greet you and ask you if you need help finding anything. You can score some amazing deals here too, it really is an "outlet". An employee even went digging in the back for me to see if they had a size in a certain fleece that was on sale for $35. Sadly, they didn't but the fact that she offered to even do that for me says a lot. Most stores don't make the effort. read more

I have had great experiences on all my visits to this store and with all different staff each time. I have returned and exchanged stuff with no problem. Had them hold numerous items while I thought about what I wanted to purchase. And recently a female staff member actually saw me still there string to decide which jacket to get, and on her break offered to get the order list to see what other colors in that style of jacket would be coming in. I bought two and will probably take one back before the 60 day return policy and get another color or style. EXCELLENT customer service. read more

I went snowboarding today at Mt. Baker it was awesome for early season. I was wearing Northface jacket and also pants. My pants was wet in the end of the day, I was using last year summit version. Since I live in Everett, me and my buddy decided to stop at the Marysville (seattle) outlet maybe I need it a better pants. I went inside the store, I was greet by a guy name dave He thought I work at the store because I was wearing full Northface clothing. Me and my buddy were looking for snowboarding clothing. I found a pants that has gore-tex but don't have a tag. So I ask Dave to find how much the price. It was on sale 40% off out of $450, I thought it was great deal. So I ask if I can try it, dave brought me to the changing room, before I enter, he check if there is the alarm beeping thing, he mention if somehow moved the alarm will sound. So I went to tried to try it. I like the pants but still deciding if I should get it. From here it get interesting, I went to check out more stuff, but it seems all the worker looking at me and my buddy suspiciously. The worker was talking on their headset while looking at me many times. Maybe because the pants was expensive? Or it is actually the one of most expensive pants in the store. So I decided to get it. I went to the cashier and I gave the pants, it took a while since the pants don't have a tag but they found it. The cashier ask if I going to pay for the one that I'm wearing, I was like what? So I knew it, they thought I was about to steal, that Northface store doesn't even have or sell of the jacket or pants that I was wearing. I still bought the pants, I went outside and my buddy told me that they were watching me. I love Northface clothing, but this store environment may have problems. They saw me coming in with Northface clothes, they should be happy I'm wearing it, instead looking at me suspiciously, that's 1 star, but I add 1 star because of Dave helped me. read more

Horrible customer service. The store manager refused to honor the pricetag claiming someone must have switched the price tag however the entire rack of snow pants were labelled that price. Clearly a store error, and the manager was extremely adamant he would not honor the North Face policy. read more

Went to the NorthFace outlet to spend some money on some jackets and was greeted at the door by a friendly guy. Was looking for a specific jacket and we asked a girl who worked there and she just told us it was her break (which we understood) and she will get back to us. 5 min later goes by and we see her tell another lady worker that my sister and I wanted to see a jacket and they just blatantly started a conversation when we were near them. So I had to ask if they were on the clock to do their job and get a jacket down for me and they said okay, and got another worker to do it. You should know that people are here to spend their money and now I won't spend my money at that location due to inconsiderate service. read more
