The chicken was super tasty and I loved the block of feta. Although, for 15.00, I could get double the salad and chicken and get pita bread at another local Greek restaurant. I would suggest adding more to the salad for the price of 16.50. I will try something different next time but I think my husband will stick with the Gyro dinner and we will just ask for more sauce and pita bread.

More of a "hole in the wall" diner....but you could smell the food just walking through the door! The girl working the counter was most accommodating and friendly! Came for the creamy lemon rice soup and wasn't disappointed!! Delish!! Couldn't decide on entree so I opted for the $17.00 plate with pork skewer and taziki (sp) sauce soup and spinach pie! Was looking forward to trying their Pastitsio but they were out of it. Spinach pie was a very good second choice! Only downside was no liquor license and we didn't think to ask if we could byob.... They served fountain drinks and nice jugs of cold water ....one infused with cucumbers which was a nice touch. All in all very good food and way more affordable than a fancy Greek (or Mediterranean ) restaurant. Didn't have room for dessert. But looked like some nice offerings. I would go back...even if it were just for the soup!

The location on Google Maps was not correct. The space is shared with a pizza place and the sign is not on the building but rather on the windows which are hard to see. I tried the chicken souvlaki plate with a side salad. I was torn between that and the feta fries but felt healthy so stuck with the salad. Wrong choice. The plate comes with onions and tomatoes and the salad was basically just onions and tomatoes. The chicken was really good though and the pita was warm and fresh! I also tried some of the lamb but it was very fatty and chewy. The only water option was bottled water which I was a little disappointed about since i don't like paying for water. It also took a lot longer to get our food than I expected since it has fast casual vibes. The place was pretty empty but it still took about 30 minutes. Overall glad I came to try but probably won't be back again.

The prices are more sit-down dining than order-at-counter and have a seat dining, that being said- you should then have flaming saganki and real silverware.

There is even a bar are with counter seating and three - five tables (two standard height and three counter height. There is a monstrous screen behind the bar for sports, but they mostly show videos of Greece, but they are mesmerizing videos of a beautiful country. It's a cleaner version of Dengeo's. And, dare I say, better version. Except for their avgolemeno soup. Such a weak travesty. Please fix this. It's just a watery mess. However, everything else is delicious. I ordered the Greek Chicken with their lemon-butter rice. They debone the chicken and serve atop a mountain of their rice. If also had their potatoes (which are good) but the rice is magical. The first time we went, they had a serve yourself soda fountain and they since got rid of it and sell soda in bottles and cans. They do still have a self-serve water station. Once you order, staff will bring to your table, so please tip when you order or leave on the table as they do come by and clear your table as well. It is first come first served and you grab your own tables. I've been there on weekends and weeknights and they get pretty packed. The food is flavorful and quite tasty. The portions are huge so you're definitely going to bring something home. Nostimo is now in our rotation of places to go in a pinch and they do have an outdoor seating area, too.

They have always* struggled with CONSISTENCY issues ever since they started (I've had raw chicken multiple times from them, now it's all burnt/dry), but it's more and more apparent recently. The meats are not only overcooked and EXTREMELY DRY, but the burnt exterior is a genuine *carcinogenic* (fact-check me) issue that leaves a disgusting taste in my mouth that is worse than sand IMO. The gyro meat is more grainy and un-chewable lately. The chicken is overcooked and dry as heck. The rice is undercooked and almost hard. The salads are less fresh, and I notice a distinct difference in the olives lately (more bitter and mushy, YUCK- I love good Kalamata olives, but NO thank you). I genuinely write this in a probably naive attempt to warn Kabobs that they are cutting too many corners that will probably, eventually, bite them. I would be very sad if that happened. I used to love Just Kabobs-- I've had great gyro and chicken and salad, etc, so I KNOW FROM THE PAST that they can do better. The main problem now* is that they are SUPER busy and they probably don't care about quality control because the money is rolling in, but I hope they will reverse course and get better quality ASAP. (PS; at their peak they are capable of 5/5 stars.-- I just feel that the quality has significantly* declined lately and it's sad to see, and waste money on. I couldn't stomach the burnt dry chicken kabobs I got last night and it's going to waste in my trashcan ).
