We were in the area and decided to stop by this restaurant. I can't believe they have only been open for two months. We were greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the clams linguini that was topped with Chorizo and came with a side of toasted bread. This dish was very filling. The flavors were dancing in my mouth after each bite! I absolutely loved this dish! My husband got the charred octopus and it was hands down probably THEE best octopus ever! We also got the crispy quail. Now listen. Quail is hard to make! This quail was not only tender but very flavorful! It came with slaw that was also amazing! We also ordered the croquettes which I was on the fence about because usually I don't like them but these were amazing with and without the sauce! We got the espresso Martini which was not on the menu but it was great! This was my first one but the bartender set the bar extremely high for the next person who makes this drink for me lol! We ended the night with the southern style bread pudding that was drizzled in bourbon maple glaze and chocolate sauce! I absolutely loved this! It paired well with the expresso martini! I've had the corn & crab bisque (soup of the day), duck ragu fettuccine, roasted quail & grilled shrimp and corn salad. These were very well done and many other options I saw pass by me for other tables looked great including a really good value surf & turf (petite filet, grilled shrimp & scallops w/ asparagus and potatoes) for only $45. Even though the space may not be large, the interior design and atmosphere are more than enough to make the restaurant feel like any other comparable tapas place (ex. Bulla, Barcelona Wine Bar). The menu is a bit smaller than what you might see at other larger tapas places, but the dishes are unique because there is a hint of fusion. While they still have the essences of dishes of other tapas places, their menu is noteworthy because they offer distinctive items (without doing too much or trying too hard to experiment with the fusion aspect). I failed to get a picture of it, but the Fettuccine with Roasted Duck Ragu was our favorite dish. The noodles were handmade and were not typical pasta noodles. There was an Asian feel and taste to them, like egg noodles. The duck was also extremely tender and full of favor, like a chicken noodle soup warmth. We also tried the Wagyu Sliders, which were not too heavy or oversaturated with other ingredients. As expected, the wagyu melts in your mouth even in burger patty form. The abundance of fries were perfectly crispy and clean (i.e., you can taste the potato and not just the oil it was cooked in). For dessert we had the Dulce de Leche Crème Brûlée that came with fresh berries. It was incredible. I would return for this dessert alone. Usually I avoid dulce de leche desserts because most times it is too overpowering and rich. This dessert was the exception. The addition of the fresh berries was also perfect to balance out the sweetness and richness of the custard. Overall the dishes were of such high quality and freshness for such reasonable prices. I would love to go back and try more of their menu items. I have zero complaints and would recommend trying this place, especially if you love tapas. read more

Visited The One for the first time tonight with my wife. What an incredible experience. Monica was our server. Although it was very busy she was great. Very pleasant, attentive, offered very tasty suggestions and was simply on point with every thing she did. At the end of the dinner she was apologizing for how loud it was. We didn't care. We tried a few of the specials, gallego soup, caprese salad. Both were very tasty. Shared the stuffed piquillo peppers which we would highly recommend. Visited here for the first time tonight and enjoyed a beautiful birthday dinner on their quaint patio on a beautiful summer evening. Staff was friendly from the greeting all the way through paying the bill. Excellent and helpful service. They have a nice albeit small bourbon menu at reasonable prices. Omg, I wish I'd discovered this place earlier, snuck surreptitiously in a suburban strip mall, serving impeccably and beautifully presented (and in copious amounts) delicious food. My partner and I intended to taste from a variety of plates, and our server Kevin very kindly and thankfully suggested we pause and test our eventually sated appetites after four total plates; the positive side of that pause was that it left a list of the untasted in our heads for a subsequent visit! At first glance the restaurant looked promising. Nice interior design, but the tables are small and so crammed together that you can potentially knock someone's plate off their table on your way to the bathroom if you're not careful. You have to walk sideways to get to the bar. The bathroom is very, very dark, which is supposed to be edgy, I guess, but it feels more like it's dark to hide the dirt. The drinks were artsy and I was told that they were delicious by the people I was dining with. We ordered the medium size charcuterie board, and at $34 it was a huge disappointment. It looked like the prosciutto was just dumped in a pile. The sausage looked like summer sausage and had no flavor. They included the end of the sausage which I found careless. The cheeses were a bunch of cubes of Brie and some other hard cheese piled up on the side. The olives were swimming in oil as if they were just spooned out of a jar. Some of the bread pieces were burned. We also had the duck confit pasta which was truly tasteless. The charred octopus was good but pricey for what you actually get on the plate. (Tapas are small plates, I know, but this was insulting). The bone marrow was good and I really enjoyed it. Expect to pay around $50 per person when dining here. These small plates add up quickly. This is not the place to go to satisfy your hunger. The staff was very friendly but we were put off by a couple of, what seemed like owners of the restaurant, who were clearly tipsy, walking around, periodically sitting and then standing at their tables swirling around their wine glasses and walking in and out to smoke. In a large restaurant this wouldn't have been noticeable, but in a tiny place like this it's a distraction. I realize that this restaurant isn't in Spain, but I expected more from a place calling itself a tapas restaurant. This was a one-and-done for us. read more

My Wife and I went here on our Anniversary and the Service was great. The food was delicious as well. I ordered the duck and risotto, and the Duck was very flavorful and well cooked. The meat was tender but still had the signature fatty crisp skin. We also ordered the potato croquettes which had their own distinct Spanish/Creole flavor with light batter so it did not overwhelm the small pieces of Cod fish that blended perfectly with the breaded texture and creole remoulade sauce.
