For anyone who went here when this restaurant first opened, menu options have changed a lot to maybe some more unhealthier options then before. Service is always pretty slow, but the place is usually packed on most days of the week. Food is probably 3.5/5 , and offers only more inhealthy options at the moment. I hope it changes and they find a better way to get food served on time, or just a little quicker. Overall 3/5 read more

What a great welcome edition for the village of East Burke. Friendly and brand new. They have a new tiki bar out on the river. Great outdoor seating, fresh made food daily. Very cool! Ok came back to try this place in the winter. They now serve drink inside as well full bar and great beer and whiskey selection. Food is fantastic. read more

Nice place with a gazebo bar out back plus outdoor tables and lawn games overlooking the river. Good craft beer selection and tasty food. Friendly staff except the manager guy didn't seem too happy. Interesting mix of locals and tourists. Will visit again for sure. read more

I want to love this place sooo much. The bar outside is amazing. Service is pretty good. Drinks good. The food..... is mediocre at best. Consistently underwhelming. Take for example tonight where they forgot an entire entree, my burger was undercooked and incorrect, and our "appetizer" (that came out at the same time as the other food) was pretty miserable. Further; it was pretty obvious the burger was just a crappy frozen warehouse club patty. I really hope they can improve. read more

A friend stopped by for a quick visit on a Monday. This place was the only open establishment open so we entered. I fully understand that we are all dealing with COVID and I was glad these guys were open. However, there was no information anywhere on how the ordering worked. We sat at a table not yet cleaned but figured they'd get to it pretty quickly. We sat there for 15 min with NO interaction with any staff. Not 'welcome, we'll be right with you' , nothing! When the food we ordered came out it was the wrong order. By the time they got the food straightened out we still had not received our drinks. Pandemonium! The owner clearly hired a bunch of young, non-experienced staff so it was not a good impression for us. Would I go back? I'd probably give it one more try since I live locally but the pricing of the food was high for both the quantity and quality. read more

This place has potential - the location and the gazebo bar are great, and there is a good selection of local beer, etc. However, it is the relationship of price and quality when it comes to food that insures I will not eat here again. I can handle mediocre food and service if the price is low, or high prices for high quality, but this balance was far from right. We ordered one salad, a cheesesteak sandwich, and one beer, and our bill came to over 40 dollars (before tip). We were given plastic forks for the salad, and the salad dressing and chicken were pre-prepared food. We had to go and get our own food from the kitchen counter (servers only took orders, but of course we still had to tip them). My wife would have ordered another beer, but wanted a half beer rather than a full. They said a half pour was possible, but only at the price of a full 16oz beer. This kind of price-gouging and lack of attention to customers is unlikely to fly in NEK, though East Burke tourism might keep it alive. Its really too bad, especially when on weekdays its the only place besides Lotti's to get lunch. read more

Nice atmosphere. They rent out their kitchen to a local chef. The menu is small but the food is good. You will get two bills because of this but the chef takes venmo! The bartenders are quick and the drinks were great. read more

I want this place to be good. As the outdoor space is fantastic and they have a good beer selection. However, their food is subpar. If you want a post ride beer go to the tiki bar as their beer selection is just as good and the post ride atmosphere is better and frankly the food at the food trucks is better. If you're just looking for food, the other places in the area have better options. read more

We have wanted to love this place since we are regulars to the town, but 3 strikes you are out. Good luck getting service to come to your table, but even standing at the bar the service is ssssslllloooww! The food is inconsistent , charged us $13 for nachos that was literally crumbs at the bottom of the bag. You could probably have better luck getting food from the gas station or the shop across the street or beer at Mike's Tiki Bar. read more

Physically, they did a nice job rehabbing the property, no doubt it needed it. Love the idea of the outdoor bar area, kinda playing off the Tiki success. But, while the rehabbing etc. required NY money to perform, the NY prices for drinks feel way out of place in the NEK. $15 for a mixed drink in a Bud Light pint glass is wee bit steep even with decent booze chosen. I wish them the best of luck, but a mixer and a single liquor in a pint glass isn't a $15 operation in the NEK........... 4-5 Stars for the physical building and built-out, 1-2 Stars for the $15/drink price........ read more

I stopped in here after a long ride for a smoothie. The smoothie was delicious and the staff was very friendly especially the owner Andrea. It turns out she lives in Fort Lauderdale where I'm from so that was a nice surprise. The back of this place was unexpected... Very cool with a huge tiki bar, a deck with rocking chairs and lots of seating and a huge outdoor grassy area with more tables and a few fire pits. I came back the next day after riding and had an açai bowl which was probably one of the best that I've ever had and the energy bites were homemade and delicious as well.
