Aloha Yelpies!! This is the spot for some down to earth great food and people. The staff is on their game and walk the floor to make sure drinks are full and your happy with your food They run specials through out the week as well. You just don't find places like this anymore. Greetings when you walk in and thanks you when you walk out with a full stomach. It's like your family just hanging out and enjoying great food. This is definitely going to be a regular stop for me as I pass through town.

We stopped for lunch on our way through Grants Pass today. We enjoyed the food but felt everything was overpriced. Lunch for four of us was almost $90. That said, we had great service and the food was good.

Chicken & Steak Teiryaki

First time here and was very pleased. the wife had teiryaki chicken and steak dinner. It came with a heaping helping of white rice and some macaroni salad. I had the chicken katsu, it can with the same sides. We will be returning!!

Menu

Stopped here for dinner. Restaurant was very clean and airy. I ordered the Kalua Pig and a passion fruit lemonade (not a lot of places have passion fruit flavor so I was happily surprised by this). Food came out super quick and the portion size was very nice.

Spam Musubis... not on the menu, but great!

This is one of those local gems that blend in, i didn't even realize it was there for awhile. The food is fantastic and the mixed drinks are fun and refreshing. The food is delicious and reminds me of Hawaii.

Good teriyaki chicken and rice. Fun drinks for reasonable prices. Good service. Needs more parking.

Ordered teriyaki chicken--decent dish, I just wish the sauce was better. Fast service and nice server.

The place is spotlessly clean, nice job! There is some outdoor seating, but it can be a bit noisy given their proximity to the highway. I had the Thai crunch wrap, which is a little more expensive than a regular sized salad but they stuff a lot good things into it and its easier to eat (IMHO). I *really* liked the flavor of my wrap. It had lots of good cilantro and peanuts to give it that thai flavor. There were 6 of us that stopped here for lunch and all 6 were happy campers.

You pick your salad, they ask you questions about toppings and then put it all together right in front of you. You get the option to eat it as a salad or get it wrapped in a nice, fluffy tortilla. I'll admit I was a little nervous because I've tried other places and have been disappointed. However, RSC did NOT disappoint! The ingredients were fresh, my shrimp was perfectly prepared and the sauces are fantastic. My dietary restrictions only allow me to eat their shrimp, but the Thai Shrimp salad in a wrap is SOOOOOOO GOOOOD!!! My wife has tried a few of their salads and has enjoyed every one of them. Her only critique is that she thought they over dressed the salad, even though she asked for light dressing. She Just gets the salad dressing on the side now. We've been here a few times now and it has become a staple when we pass through S. Oregon. Between the clean, bright store, the friendly staff and the great food its a must visit spot.

They absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the Chasu Pork Belly tacos, and honestly they may be the best tacos I've ever had. The pork belly is slow cooked and then pan seared, giving it a rich, savory depth with just the right amount of caramelized texture. The shredded cabbage and pickled red onions add a fresh crunch and brightness that balance the richness perfectly. Sweet pops from the seared corn salsa, along with scallions and toasted sesame seeds, add great layers of flavor. What really brings it all together is the sriracha garlic lime aioli and chasu reduction, which add just the right mix of citrus, spice, and umami. The impressive part is that you can taste every ingredient individually, yet each bite comes together as one perfectly balanced taco. If you're at the Phoodery, don't skip these tacos.

Owner and chef William Snyder is a serious mycologist and local mushroom hunter who forages for the seasonal treats. I ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare, asked for it on the rarer side since you never know with steak), and it came out perfect -- great char on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Exactly how it should be. Also... don't skip the specials on the chalkboard there's always something worth trying. And the crepe berqueno is AMAZINGGG -- seriously out of this world. In my opinion, it's the best savory crepe ever. I always customize mine by adding egg and avocado and it never misses. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special though. The owner, Gab, is always there making sure everything runs smoothly, and you can tell he genuinely cares. Him and his son Brandon take great care of their guests and make you feel like more than just a customer. Service can be a little slower at times, but honestly... give them grace. They're balancing a busy spot, connecting with locals, and creating a really welcoming vibe. It feels lived-in, not rushed -- and that's part of the charm. Nothing but love for this place. ‍

It took 30 minutes to reach our table. We were encouraged and excited to try the food and then we were weirdly disappointed. No flavor. I understand farm to table, but zero flavor. Honorable mentions The bloody Mary with the dill salt and white chocolate blondie WERE AMAZING. Staff were so friendly too!! But....BUT. We waited almost 40 min for food after ordering :/ we both had breakfast burritos that were just very average tasting. They did comp my Bloody Mary and the desert but man oh man that wait for the food was crazy and it wasn't a packed house either. In total after we left we had spent three hours there: waiting for table, waiting for food, eating it and finishing. We intended for a lot less time there. This was a Saturday. Maybe there's a problem going on in the kitchen or not having a food runner. Not sure ! Mediocre food for an absurd long. Unfortunately I will be back for that dill slat rim Bloody Mary. But not worth the wait for the food.

What an amazing experience at DASSH Bakery in Grants Pass!…read more From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the owners, a husband-and-wife team who clearly pour their hearts into this bakery. Everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the Local Bagel, and it was phenomenal. It had bacon, aioli, and a variety of fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was too busy enjoying it! The bagel itself was fresh-made and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ham bagel sandwich with cheddar, ham, and honey mustard, and it was just as fantastic. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. For a sweet treat, we had the blueberry scone, and it was perfection--flavorful, tender, and clearly made from scratch. Their coffee menu is impressive as well. They can make just about any latte you want and offer a great selection of syrups, including cookie butter, vanilla, lavender, and many more. They also have plenty of milk options, including oat milk, almond milk, whole milk, and regular milk. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating available, including two two-top tables and a larger six-top table, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. The service was impeccable. Since the bakery is run by the owners themselves, things may take a little longer during busy times, but that wasn't an issue at all for us. The care, attention, and quality they put into every order are well worth the wait. If you're in Grants Pass, DASSH Bakery is an absolute must-visit. Fresh-made food, outstanding coffee, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful owners who truly care about their customers. Easily a five-star experience, and we'll definitely be back!
