The food has always been good, the place very small very ,if you don't mind eating very close to other tables.

Food price / quality rating 10 . We've been here at least thirty times now, probably more than any other restaurant . The food is top quality, prepared exceptionally well, presented beautifully and, (be very quiet) priced..... I won't say it, because we won't be able to get a table if word gets out! There's always enough for two meals from an entree, and we always get two entrees to go, along with a loaf of bread that makes the best French toast you've ever eaten! What a great little place this is! Excellent food for a great price point. Located right off the highway, this makes for a perfect quick stop for a meal. Homemade bread was very fresh and soft. Italian wedding soup was a rather large bowl when I was expecting a smaller cup. It was loaded with little meatballs that I never seem to get enough of whenever I order this soup. They will make a flatbread of the day however you may want it. We had margarita and it was delicious. The lunch salad and penne vodka were also generous portions. They offer simple beer and wine as well to compliment your meal. Service was excellent even with the restaurant 3/4 full. They also have a nice outdoor patio out front which I plan on coming back and sitting at next trip. Don't sleep on this place, give them a try! read more

I have been eating at Antonio's for years now and it never fails to deliver good, fresh food. I hate to admit that I've never had their pizza but judging by the amount of pies I've seen going out of there it's gotta be good. I've never had a bad meal at Antonio's and everything I've ordered has always been good. Their portions are generous and the prices are low for all you get. I love their veal parmigiana and their shrimp parmigiana is the best! Their sauce is always fresh as is their bread. I've had and enjoyed most of their pasta dishes and their pork chop with hot peppers and broccoli rabe is outstanding. Antonio's is a great little place. read more

Every dish my table ordered was AWESOME. Chicken Marsala? Pasta Rockefeller? Ravioli Vodka? Meatball Grinder? All 5/5.. every one of them. Honestly. You will not regret eating here. First time here. Small place definitely needs reservation. Got the special beef braised ravioli which was delicious. Plating was beautiful . One of the if not the BEST Italian food in CT!! We drive 40 minutes to visit The Origional Antonio's. You best have a reservation because it is very popular with the locals. The food is fabulous. The grilled pork chop with roasted peppers is one of my favorite dishes on the menu. The chop is a generous portion, enough for 2 meals. Another favorite is the Chicken Scarpiello served over delicious mashed potatoes. You will not go wrong with anything on the menu including the pizza! Finally the dining room is small and nicely appointed and the staff is as good as they come. The owners are very friendly and always ask about your experience. So so lovely!!! read more

UNMATCHED AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD. The staff is EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE, so hospitable and tbh they seem happy to be there! There's this one guy, seems like the owner, he is always upbeat and ready to wow. very refreshing experience. The food is incredible! I've indulged in their cheese pizza, penne alla vodka lunch special & mozzarella fritta. The pizza is awesome! Their crust is crispy, sauce is flavorful and cheese tastes fresh. The penne alla vodka lunch portion is spot on! No place in the area matches the flavor. Regardless, the sauce is elite and noodles are cooked P E R F E C T L Y. I hope they NEVER change the recipe. Just be sure to get there before 3 PM. Mozzarella fritta was executed nicely. Crispy on the outside, fresh melted mozzarella on the inside. The marina sauce complimented them nicely, it was flavorful and a big portion. Lastly, the bread that comes with the meal is heavenly. It's a nice touch that really ties in the homey feel. Stopped by because of the high ratings and we were very pleased. The waitresses were attentive and knowledgeable, and we did not have long to wait for our food. Fresh bread with a choice of either butter, olive oil or humus was offered. We chose the olive oil despite other yelpers comments and were glad we did. Yes, the olive oil was light but we felt it was delicious with the really fresh bread. Oh my, the bread was really really good. So much so that I asked for another basket, lol. Hubby was very happy. The salad was good. I chose bleu cheese dressing and the hubby chose Caesar dressing. I thought mine was good, but the hubby didn't care for his. Next, the entrees came out. I chose the ravioli with vodka sauce and the hubby had chicken with hot cherry peppers in a gorgonzola sauce. The hubby cleaned his plate. I couldn't finish but it was delicious. We did share dessert, a cannoli pie which was ok. Hubby thought a little dry. If we could give 4 1/2 stars we would have. This is a small place so I'd call ahead for seats. It's a popular place since I could hear the phone ringing constantly for takeout. Oh, loved the bathroom. Three of us went in 15 minutes before the kitchen closed so we all ordered the chicken parm dinners. They started with bread & gave us our choice of butter or oil. We got both. The bread was Italian & so good we had to order more. Next was a tasty salad. Before we could finish the salad the chicken parm & pasta came out. It was so good! I went for lunch with a large group. I asked the server if I should go with the Vodka Penne or the Gnocchi special. She said gnocchi so that's what I got. It was served in a bowl with grilled chicken, diced tomatoes and spinach in a light olive oil garlic sauce. The gnocchi had a good texture. Since they were still soft they were able to soak up a lot of the flavor. It sounded like this was a go to spot for the group I was with so I'm sure I'll be back next time I'm in the area. read more

We moved back to the area and decided to come for lunch. I am familiar with the old location in Seymour, CT which was always excellent. First of all, the homemade bread served prior to lunch entrée was out of this world. It is made on site. The lunch menu is extensive and fairly priced, the service excellent. I had chicken parmesan which was delicious, ample, and enough for another serving the next day. My husband ordered the penne vodka with shrimp, again delicious. We started with the Harvest salad which was just amazing and plenty to share. We plan to return every week for a great meal. I want to try everything on the menu :) read more

Never disappoints! I've been there so many times and it's always absolutely delicious. The place is pretty small, but they do have some outdoor seating. They used to have a few other locally owned Antonio's but all of those locations have since closed. That was many years ago. But the original in beacon falls is one of my favorite go-to's. read more

Been here many times food consistently excellent no matter what you order. Ordered on line..there at pick up time, was told they were running behind by 10 min. And owner handed me a complimentary bottle of wine and said would bring out to truck when ready. Wife and I drank half bottle in car why we waited..lol. This is a small family owned restaurant. Went for dinner last night. I suggest making a reservation if you go for dinner. There is a regular flow of people in and out a d it gets crowded. The service was great. The waitress we had was friendly and did not rush us in the least bit despite it being quite busy. The food was good. Both of us got the Chicken Parma gnocchi special. It was in a vodka sauce. The portion was huge. More than half of it came home. As a result I only got coffee. No dessert. Try this place out should you grind yourself in the neighborhood. read more

Came here with a friend during COVID, so my review is based around that condition. Service: Every staff member wore a mask, which made me feel confident that they were following protocol in order to operate as a restaurant. Very accommodating staff. We were checked on as often as necessary and received all of the requests given. Food: Deeeeliiiish! The pizza that we got (half mushroom and half pepperoni) was great! I was actually surprised that a place with such a small amount of reviews had such good pizza. We only came for a couple of slices, so that's all that I can vouch for. However, the table next to us seemed to also be raving about their dishes. Atmosphere: We sat outside (due to no dine-in rules) and it was really nice! I even saw a rabbit come out of the bushes :) It made the experience even more delightful. The seating was comfortable and the table had an umbrella to protect us from the beaming sun. It was a very lovely day and a fun experience! Would I recommend? Yes! Will I be back? I don't live in CT currently, but if I did, I would definitely consider it. read more
