One of my favorite restaurants! The best bread and hummus around. I love the chicken piccata and chicken Marsala. The pizza is yummy too.

The pizza is always outstanding. The food is consistently good, I've never had a bad meal or messed up order, and I eat here often. The homemade bread is amazing, perfect italian bread. I always get it with the home made white bean hummus which is delicious. If I decide to skip the homemade fried mozzarella (which is awesome), I go right to my two favorite things at Antonio's... the grinders or the pizza. The vodka sauce here is so amazing that I usually order a vodka sauce pizza. You won't be sorry if you try it, it's so creamy and cheesy and delicious. The only sub I've had is the eggplant because I'm a vegetarian, but my husband loves the rustica grinder (and pizza). The desserts are just as good. They use to make a creme brulee cheesecake that was amazing, but it's no longer on the menu. The cannoli pie and the toasted almond cake are both also very good. The woman who runs this place does a great job. She is always friendly, always smiling and gets to know her customers by name. The waitresses are all friendly and attentive. This place is small and does tremendous take out orders, I like to eat in though. I make reservations on most nights because I think it only seats about 25 people total. read more

Superb Italian and seafood. The "lobster shrimp martini"in the first picture was excellent! Clearly only the choices pieces of lobster were selected. Everything was great! the main courses, The desert, and even a coffee. Surprisingly good prices for such fine food and service. Don't try to go without reservations. Not a very big place even with the outside deck. Which was a real nice place to eat in this weather. Probably even nicer in early fall. 35 miles from my home in Norwalk but a very easy drive. We went here for Saturday night dinner, it is a small dining room, but we were seated right away. The service was great, the Salmon was excellent as well as the veal parmigiana (this dish is very large). It's like mom made dinner. Reasonable prices too. read more

We like to call it Momma's. Home cooked, delicious and consistent. They made it thru the pandemic when lots of restaurants folded. They did specials, delivered and we are greatfull they are still there and going strong and feeding the community great food. They cater and at the holidays it's a god send to know we can get enough to feed a crowd and have everyone love the meal and think we cooked it. We used to go to Antonio's when it was in Southbury. We were there constantly, and it was by far our favorite restaurant. It was cozy, and the food was incredible, prices low, and portions huge. We loved it. We had been planning for at least 20 years to try the new Antonio's location. Well, we finally made it Friday night. The place is small, but they had a great table for us outside on the patio. When I saw the menu, I knew I had to have my old favorite, Frutti di Mare. Wow, the years of waiting did not disappoint me. The extremely generous little neck clams, scallops, calamari, and shrimp was served over a reasonable amount of linguini. The sauce was heaven, as I remembered it. A real treat, and less expensive than I expected. The next day, I loved the leftovers. And I should also mention the great fresh made bread, and the excellent house salad. I'm not sure I can do this restaurant justice. The owner is a wonderful lady who ran a restaurant in Italy before coming to the US. She's been in this location for 11+ years. We found them on Yelp, & they're close enough we can get food delivered to our house. I am going to put on so much weight as a result of finding this place. I had the Lobster Baked Penne, my wife had an equally impressive pasta dish. We opened with Mozzarella Fritta, and closed with the Tiramisu. I can't say enough good things about the Tiramisu. I spent two weeks in Italy when I was younger, & went around specifically trying to find the best version of it during that time. Every day. Antonio's is as good or better than anything I tried during that trip. Did I mention I'm going to put on some serious weight? My only complaint? I LOVE the Original Antonio's pizza. It's a nice pie with the perfect crust. They also have great salads, which seems to be rare back east. This is one of my go to pizza stops when I visit family back east. If you want more than just pizza Antonio's has very nice grinders and dinners too. Our Friend took us here for lunch. My wife and I were visiting from Florida. Beacon Falls is a sleepy little town. Upon entering we are greeted by the owner who is so sweet. I can tell she is old school Italian. it is a small place so reservations are reccomended. We went for Lunch. The prices are so reasonable and the food was so delicious that I thought I was eating at a bistro in Italy. The staff were super friendly. I only wish we had a great place like this in Florida. I've never written a review for them, but I just ordered the eggplant rollatini for the first time and OMG. It is really amazing. I'm extremely picky when it comes to eggplant dishes. But this is very thinly sliced, very lightly breaded and you can actually taste the eggplant and creamy ricotta. Nothing is overpowering and it's so tender. Everything about it is exquisite. Live and learn! We have for years gone to Antonio's for their excellent pasta dishes and salads. The food is always prepared carefully with the best ingredients - portions are generous. The servers are terrific as well. We'd seen countless people come in to get pizza. Last night we decided to try a vegetarian pizza and were blown away by the quality. The vegetables were all superbly prepared and there was just enough cheese to bind them all together atop a flavorful, crisp crust. Pizza is not an afterthought here; it is an art.
