Do NOT order from this location!!! They rip off customers. Last week I placed an online order, I couldn't find the option for delivery ANYWHERE- so I figured I'd pick it up. My email said my order would be read in (blank) minutes. It did not disclose a time to pick up my order. So I began calling, and calling, and calling to figure out if they could deliver or if there was a time for pick-up. No one answered. I called 7-8 times over a 15 min period. No one answered. I looked online to see if they had different hours for covid- as many places do, but no information was available. With no pick up time and NO ONE answering I obviously didn't get my order. Well- it didn't stop them from charging me! I called this morning to try to sort it out and the manager said "too bad" and pretty much said I was lying when I told her I didn't get a pick up time in my email confirmation no one would answer the phone so I assumed they were closed and she said "too bad- we did over 10,000$ worth of sales that day so obviously we were answering our phones" and hung up on me. Great customer service! I'll be filing a complaint with my bank to dispute the charges and I will NEVER eat at another Ginos- I'll go to his ex wife's store- she sells the same exact recipe, but her employees aren't rude and do not hang up on customers!!! read more

Kind of a bad experience. I hate to say it because I've been brainwashed by an ex that this is the best pizza ever, but it was just okay. This is a new location, I hear. Staff was angry at life. I ordered 2 pizzas and we had a coupon for free boneless wings. The dining room was empty when I went to pick it up at 6:30pm on a Monday. I waited for my pizzas and paid. Apparently I needed to print the coupon. Showing it to her on my phone didn't work (It's 2010 lady.) So I paid for my free boneless wings that I didn't even want. They were soggy and clearly not their specialty. I only ate them cause I got lost on the way home and they were easier to eat than pizza. The pizza was pretty good. It was a bit cold by the time I got home since I was busy uploading pics to Yelp! instead of looking where to turn. They have such a variety of crusts, sauces, and cheeses, but it's a bit too overwhelming. I bet you could possibly make up over 1,000 different pizzas there. It's kinda silly. NO!!! Click the "back" button and choose a different place!!! I deeply regret eating here, and don't want anyone to make the same mistake! The boy had fond memories of Gino's from eating here in his childhood, and even he, who loves pizza with an ungodly passion, couldn't keep eating it. The pizza was DRENCHED in oil, actually dripping with it whenever I picked up a slice. The toppings don't taste fresh. Yes, the crust is caramelized and crispy, but by the time you get there from eating the bottom part of the pizza it's not worth it at all. We got the buffalo chicken pizza, and there was way too much cheese on it (words I never thought I'd say), especially of blue cheese, a nauseating amount. We had to go down the street to Steak 'n Shake to get a milkshake and get the terrible taste out of our mouths. It was completely empty on a Friday night, and for good reason. They need to take more pride in their food if they want to survive, because that food was disgusting. Any other pizza place in Toledo (Jet's, Marco's, Vito's, Charlie's...etc etc) is lightyears better than this one. read more

If I could give this location in Toledo a "0" stars, I would. They have horrible customer service. Half the time they don't answer the phone to take orders after they have opened. They open at 9a according to their website but they don't accept calls until after 10a. Once 10a swings around you'll be lucky to get them to answer. read more

Horrible service, horrible atmosphere. All booths were dirty, but they had no customers when we arrived. Asked for a booth to be cleaned, and that never happened. They brought out our giant meat pizza and my moms tiny one, yet my turkey sub took another eight minutes? They kept saying " it will be right up"... Hello, am i stupid?! its an effing sub! Ummmm how about just be honest and tell me you forgot to make it? I would have given you stats for honesty at least... Gino's has pretty good pizza. Yes, there are better pizzas out there, but as long as you are not expecting gourmet it is fantastic. Ginos uses more sauce than most, and it is also sweeter than usual. The cheese tends to go right up to the crust. I prefer a basic cheese pizza with them. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays you can get a large 6 dollar cheese or pepperoni. I do dislike going in the store, for some reason the place always smells funny and well, it never seems particularly "happy" which is a completely subjective sort of judgment but well... One thing Gino's also does well is gluten free pizzas. I have several friends who have Celiacs who can't live without them. read more

I love Gino's cheeseburger pizza! Gino's also offers a lunch buffet at a great price (you can even find coupons for the buffet and drink). This location usually has 2 different salads, spaghetti, chili, potato chunks or fries, some other dishes and of course pizza. Depending on when you go, sometimes they serve rib tips (but not always). They don't consistently serve the specialty pizzas during the buffet so if you're craving a specific pizza, you're better off ordering it to go. And they also have gelato that you can get after your meal (not included in the lunch buffet). read more

Horrible service. Food not much better. My son and I waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table, even though she walked by our table, even greeted us, three times. I ordered boneless chicken wings. What I got was chicken nuggets!!! They were horrible. If I wanted chicken nuggets, I would have gone to McDonalds. I ordered online at the Toledo Monroe and Nantucket location. I sent my son to pick up the pizza. Due to your strange policy they had to cancel my order and charge him because he did not have my ID or my credit card on him. I have ordered pizzas from Vito's Marco's and Pizza John and have never been put through the kind of scrutiny that Ramone and Scott put us through. We visited Gino's on a Tuesday night around 6 pm. We were the only customers eating in, aside from one other table of nurses. The girl at the register was delightful. We tried a small Hawaiian pizza, the pepperoni bread and boneless chicken chunks. I love Gino's pizza because they put the cheese on last. It makes all the difference in the world! I called to tell them of their mistake and the manager said I could bring the pizza back and get a new one. I told the manager that wasn't feasible because I live 20 minutes away. This was my first time ever going to Gino's. And will be the last. I had to ask for a table to be wiped just so my family could sit at a clean table. I wouldn't even let my kids touch the restrooms. We carried out a large pizza from Gino's on 11/23/19. (We have been customers since our high school days! ) We don't order very often now, however, as we live Sylvania and Gino's is not close. Anyhow, the crust was good and the toppings plentiful, but it was barely warm and the cheese was anemic : undercooked. We ordered ground beef , but got nasty bits of kibble (sausage) instead. When I removed the sausage, I did see some sauce, but it was just a light amount. What a disappointment from a Toledo staple. It will be a long time before we try again. read more

Gino's has really good pizza, that's pretty well known. Their sauce is unique and delicious. But that's all that's good about it. The customer service is horrendous. The people working there at pretty much every location seem to be rude, annoyed with you, and don't care about what they're doing. They just all seem to have a bad attitude. This isn't just one occurrence either, it's every. Damn. Time. One instance, we called and placed a carry out order ahead of time. We did this at the location we most frequent, and have only placed carry out orders to. When we got there to pick it up, the order wasn't there. Nothing. No record of it. So we had to wait another 20 min for them to make it, and the guy wouldn't offer any kind of discount or service to make it right. Back to the theme - he just didn't care. This really takes away from what Gino's has to offer, it's Pizza. Because the people who are making the pizza couldn't care less, the pizza itself suffers significantly. The other thing that sucks about Gino's is the fact that they don't have any specials or deals ever. Their pizza is expensive, and I'm fine paying for expensive pizza if it's good and the people treat me with a smile. When we call and ask if there are any specials today, we get a cold and firm no, with an attitude. They sound annoyed to even be asked the question. We have switched to Aimee's (apparently owned my Gino's ex-wife). The pizza is comparable and good, the service is much friendlier and inviting, and they have specials/deals. I'd be surprised to see Gino's Pizza survive over the next 5 years. read more

Gino's used to be my favorite pizza in Toledo. It was known as Toledo's Best! If you want good pizza, never go to the Monroe street location. Twice I have ordered pizza to be delivered. Once I was told I had to come pick it up, but that I would get a discount. After waiting 20 minutes and getting charged full price, they are lucky to ever get my business again. Updating my review. Thought this may be the only good location for Gino's left in Toledo, but it's gone just as downhill as the others. I am beginning to realize why Gino's has gone downhill over the years. It'd be nice if the company hired people who knew how to do their job. I called in a small cheese pizza half an hour ago. Was told 10 mins. Arrived in 15 mins. Had to wait while they made the pizza I had called in so I wouldn't have to wait. He brought it out and I'm glad he showed it to me because somehow small CHEESE pizza became small PEPPERONI pizza. Now I'm waiting again. This shouldn't be this complicated.... Pizza was not much better than frozen pizza and breadsticks were doughy. Took us an hour waiting just to get our food. Would not recommend.

I tried to be effective and called my order in before leaving work. Called at 4:45pm. I was told it would be 25 minutes. I arrived at 5:15pm. My order was not ready. After waiting another 30+ minutes I was told that my large pizza had been "pushed back". It was now 6:00pm and meanwhile my other two pizzas have been sitting on the counter for over 45 minutes. No explanation a to why. No offer to try and make it right. Needless to say I asked for my money back and left. I will not be returning ever again. read more
