They care more about making the money than doing right by the people. We called 2 separate times to speak to someone about our refrigerator, and both times stated the brand and the situation. It will make ice but the ice will not come out of the door. They stated they would need to come look at it, and made an appointment for Thursday between 1-3. The technician called at 3 and told me he would be there by 3:30. Once the technician arrived my husband asked him, "Do you know situation?" he said, "your refrigerator is not making ice?" My husband told him, no that was not the case, and told him the problem. The technician walked around the corner saw the refrigerator and instantly said, "that is a known problem for this type of unit. I cannot fix it you have to get a new door, if that is available and it would be easier to just buy a whole new unit." The man was here for literally 3 minutes. He never received a briefing on the situation before he came. Perhaps he could have asked when he called to tell me he would be 30 minutes late. MAYBE that would have saved everyone this headache. He preceded to charge us a technician fee of $89.51. I explained my concern with that, and he told me that I would need to call the boss. As soon as he left I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. Clifton assured me that he was the boss that I needed to speak to before I went into details. I told him that I was not doubting the technician's expertise, he told me that he had been doing this for 15 years, but my problem was that this was an unnecessary service call and took time and money away from me. This simple situation could have been answered over the phone. Clifton began to tell me he did know that this is a problem with my type of unit, but the people we spoke to on the phone when we called before may have not known that. I said that is a problem, and that people that answer the phone should know more to help eliminate unneeded service calls or the technician should be allowed to waive the service fee where he actually did NOTHING! Clifton understood my concern an offered to give me $300 off a new appliance, free delivery, and free installation if I chose to buy an appliance from them in the future. I told him I didn't feel like they had the customers' best interest at heart and didn't want to purchase from them. He said that he would speak to the owner and the owner is the only one that could do anything further. I told him that it might be best for me to speak to the owner. I informed him that I saw that they had numerous bad reviews on Yelp and that I would also be letting people know how I felt about their customer service and that the best option was for the owner to rip up my $89.51 check to make me whole again. Clifton called me back about 15 minutes later after his spoke to the owner. He then preceded to tell me that he may have spoken a little too early period, and that that was a legitimate technician call in the eyes of the owner. Therefore, the only thing he could do is offer me $100 off of a future appliance an half off of the delivery fee. I told him that was way less than what he offered me less than 30 minutes ago. I told him that I did not feel comfortable doing business with them because of the way their priorities are geared towards money. All they had to do to make this right was rip up my check that they did not deserve for someone standing in my house for 2 minutes and telling me something that could have been said over the phone. After reading other reviews here I see the go to response is "we don't do refunds- it says on the receipt." well the receipt says "all SALES final, no refunds." Horrible, customer service. Took my dryer in paid money for diagnostics test. End of first week still no diagnostic test! Then I called the next week s haven't performed a diagnostic on my dryer. The excuse was the repair got hurt they'd get back to me. Couple days go by the same pathetic story. So I finally said I want my Money back. I rented a truck just to not have my dryer repaired. No make it right for the customer. Their story either you pick it up or we'll deliver and no refund. So finally I had to accept them deliver the dryer. I should have looked here first, BEFORE letting these incompetent liars into my house. I bought a refrigerator and they came to install it.. They asked me if the water was off and I said "NO, it is not." He unhooked the water line anyway and flooded my kitchen and part of my living room. Turns out the shut off valve did not have a handle on it,, which I did not know. So my kitchen is flooding and they are walking around in no hurry whatsoever. One of them was asking questions about my parrot. My kitchen is flooding and he wants me to talk to him about my parrot?? Complete incompetence. (Later I heard him tell his buddy, "we got set up," like I would actually trick them into flooding my house!) I had to direct everything.. I had to tell them to get a wrench and turn the water off at the street and get some towels to try and keep the water from spreading everywhere. Even still, it flooded my kitchen and about 20 feet into the living room. My kitchen floor is wood laminate and even the next day, stepping on the floor water would squish up to the surface. and, because the valve was broken and they did not have basic plumbing parts and connectors, I had no water until the next day. 72 hours later and it is still very wet under the kitchen floor. The wood laminate is swollen with water and peeling up at the edges. Because the way the foundation sits, mainly a 10 x 10 area is affected, not the entire kitchen floor. All I wanted was for the affected area to be replaced. The installer took some pictures and sent it to Bill, the owner, and he claimed my kitchen "has evidence of previous flooding." A complete lie. Bill refuses to do anything about it.. My only choice now is to sue. Side note: Bill told me outright that Keller Appliance DOES NOT HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE. So I came here in May to purchase a used fridge. We found one for 350.00 and purchased. Delivery was fine but 3 months after purchase the freezer started to not work well. We contacted Keller Appliance and was never returned a phone call. Again we call and they send a tech at the cost of 75.00 to tell us the bimetal has failed and it will be roughly 300.00 to fix. We tried talking to management with no luck and even the owner basically refused to help, just that for 300.00 we can fix a fridge that they basically just sold us for 350.00. So quick search and bam I got the part for 14.00 and installed in less time than it took for the tech to figure out what's wrong. I should have done more research before I contacted Keller Appliance - I would have chosen another repair service. A one star rating from me. Our dishwasher was not drying the dishes. In January they sent a technician out to our house ( no mention of us moving the dishwasher to our garage for pick up- more on that later). The tech came to the house, said he needed to order a part, came back a couple of days later & installed the part. The dishes still were not drying. So far out the price of 2 service calls plus the part. No mention was made of a time frame for "warranty" follow up. Then my husband had back surgery so I was more focused on his health than on the dishwasher. On March 12 I stopped in, explained the issue & was told that there were several other situations like mine with that technician & that the owners were aware & would be working to take care of these situations. Time went by, I stopped in again, provided receipts for the work & was told they they were working on a resolution. More time goes by, I stop in again, now the owners are out of the country on Spring break, but will definitely be getting back to me once they return. More time goes by & I stop in again. The resolution is that we disconnect the dishwasher, put it in the garage & they will pick it up & take it to the shop for repair. I explained that my husband was recovering from back surgery he had in February & I certainly was not going to move a dishwasher on my own. If they had told me that they needed that when I first called I would have thanked them & found another repair person. Funny how they didn't need the dishwasher in the garage on the initial call but now they did. I requested a refund of the service call charges (approximately $140). The owner, Maxzine Cunningham finally contacted me directly via email after I sent a complaint via their website & said I would be posting negative reviews on Yelp & other social media sites. That was the only time I got any direct response from the owners. I was told "they don't do refunds" (nothing mentioned about that on the initial call), and that basically it's my problem for not contacting them sooner & not being able to put the unit in the garage. Let me tell the whole story since these owners have the balls to comment back on a bad review but don't have the balls to talk to customers even over the phone to resolve an issue and have even decent customer service. Bought a washer a month ago that the same day they installed it (literally the guy didn't even get down the street from my house) the drum was shaking and making so much noise! Called the store to the guy who sold it to me (kevin) and he told me to contact the driver to come back. Called the driver, said they would be back in the area and stop by the next day (I live 45 min from the store.) Never heard from anyone which brings us to now. Called Kevin back this past week because the washer that we purchased is to the point it moves across the damn room from skating so much. He told us to bring it in and see if they can fix it and if they weren't able to they would find something comparable. The reason we purchased this one specifically was for the oversized drum because we have a large family and do alot of laundry. We took it in yesterday and was told by the guy who fixes them that it was no good and so kevin said that if we see one that is 279 or lower he would let us do an even exchange. If you have ever been in this store you will see that the washers that are even below 300 are the ones people put on the curb daily and some people even pay to have these pos' picked up just to get them out of their house. Not one in there below 300 was anywhere close to what we needed but I settled on one that was 299 and kevin had the nerve to tell me that the owner said they would let me have it for only 60.00! What?!? That doesnt even make since? I told him the difference between 279 and 299 is 20.00 and we would give him the 20.00 difference to take the piece of crap that we didn't even want. He called the owner probably 3 or 4 times and she would not budge! My husband asked to speak with her over the phone and she did not want to talk? What kind of B.S coward crap is that? We recommend never do business with these people, they have the worst salesman, customer service and shittiest inventory ever! It was convenient with them being open on Sunday but this place is WAY OVERPRICED. I went in for a Thermal Fuse which retails for $7.99 and is available all over the internet for $1.50-$5.00 (Shipped) via Amazon, Sears, Wal-Mart, Lowes and Home Depot. I wanted to fix the dryer over the weekend and figured it would be worth the extra couple bucks to get it from a local vendor today. I walked in the store and within 2 minutes I had the part in my hand and thought That was easy. The shock came when I was told the price of $21.99! Yes, three times the RETAIL PRICE for a generic part (It is still just a fuse). I complained and informed the clerk that the part retailed for $7.99 so he looked in the computer again. Upon looking, he informed me the generic part number is more expensive than the Whirlpool fuse so he could give it to me for $16.99. Again I informed him that the advertised RETAIL price for the fuse is $7.99 (I even pulled it up on my phone to show him) which is less than half of what he is trying to charge me even after his 23% discount. He came back with $11.99 plus tax ($12.98) which I paid just to get out of the store before getting really irritated. I am all for a local business charging a fair price to make a profit. I do not expect to pay internet prices at a local brick and mortar but feel the practice employed by this vendor is border-line unethical and nothing more than price gouging. I am not one to normally write this kind of review but charging a customer three times the retail price on a fuse or anything else is ridiculous. I wish Keller Appliance well in the future but they have received their last dime from me and my family. We will shop elsewhere. read more

My washing machine wasn't agitating properly. I called Keller appliance and the man who answered said, yes, they did service calls for $45, but if I brought it in it would only be $25 to have it checked out. Sounds good. So I brought it in. $25. Checks not accepted. It was 5 and all the service people had gone home, so I had to leave it over night. I called at 11am the next day because I hadn't heard from them yet. Service guy is out to lunch. At 1:45pm they called and told me, "good news, it's only a $13.99 part, plus $65 an hour to install it." Are you kidding me? I asked if they would maybe just charge 1/2 hour since it was such a simple fix. Nope. Anyway, there were other issues with this place, too. First of all, the location is terrible traffic-wise to get into or out of. Then, the lady manning the front counter seems slightly confused. The employees themselves really aren't very helpful. And the appliance selection is lacking. Good news is I got my washer back and it works. Bad news is, probably for a total of $75, I could have had someone come to my house and fix the washer instead of lugging it up there and back to have a $13.99 part replaced at a total cost of $100. My experience with this establishment was far from excellence. I purchased a used appliance that was priced high but I expected that having a warranty would give me peace of mind in the purchase. The washing machine did not work properly from the initial use. When I contacted the store via phone I was provided with no assistance. I went to the store to speak to the salesman that sold me the appliance since he is the only person that had customer service skills. He was told that he could not provide the owners number to me when I requested a manager. End result, if I cannot transport the appliance back and forth to their business, then they will charge me for a service call. The costs associated with this purchase exceed what should normally be paid for a used appliance that doesn't work from the point of purchase. They said they could do it at my house, after 2 times of coming to the house said they couldn't do it at the house and had to take it in. I purchased a refrigerator from this store in November. The salesman promised me a 90 day warranty even though they officially only offer a 60 day warranty. At 75 days we noticed a problem. When I called it in I was informed of the error and, that the salesman hadn't written down an extension of the warranty, and even the fact that the salesman in question was no longer working for the company. However, the owner did honor the word of his former employee and came out to fix the fridge. I'm impressed. read more

Not exactly The Galleria in terms of decor, but the guys are knowledgable, the prices are fair for used AND tested appliances, and delivery was very fast. Found a used refrigerator that was not only the color (cream) to match the kitchen decor, but was the right width. Had been to half dozen other places trying to find this size--had bad experience(s) at Sears Outlet with two defective products. As the sign says, they negotiate. I think they may be fans of Pawn Stars. :) I paid what I felt was a fair price and the delivery charge was very reasonable. Keller Appliance delivered and connected this morning--it seems to be working perfectly. Also enjoyed meeting Kevin the delivery man and his son who is helping out this summer. A family member mentioned she'd had Keller Appliance repair their refrigerator and she too was pleased. Would recommend if you're looking for a used appliance or need service. If I could give them negative I would. I bought a washer/dryer set there and that went smoothly. My washer stopped working and so I emailed the lady I had dealt with previously to as about warranty information. She replied back telling me to call the store, so I did. The man who answered, looked me up and told me tgat my warrant was almost expired, but not yet. He sent a technician out based on the warranty was still there, technician came, very nice guy, fixed it and tried to get payment. I told him that I was still under warranty according to the office so he called the owner and the owner said he agreed and the tech apologized and left. 15 minutes later I receive an email from the woman I had emailed with previously telling me I owed them $145 because I was still under warranty. I tried to explain to this woman (who is the owners wife) what I was told and she replied back calling me names, said I was dishonest and a liar, and telling me it was her day off and they were putting my name on some list to never sell to me again. So I replied back with a not so nice email that I will try to post also. My husband and I needed our washer fixed, so we called Keller Appliance, since they are located near our home. They were very quick to respond and fix our washer faster than anticipated. They charged $168 to look at my broken appliances and tell me what needed to be fixed, Then said they can come back next week to fix it at $65 per hour labor plus parts. The $168 for an hour worth of diagnostics is outrageous! Just called sears, they charge the diagnosis fee only if you don't get the repair done. When I spoke to an employee in the office, they said they operated this way because their parts/labor aren't over inflated to accommodate for free estimates. Well, this is an absolute lie because one thing I needed was a refrigerator filter that costs me $30 at walmart, they wanted to charge me $54! I came to Keller Appliance to get a refrigerator and a washer at a decent price. The sales man was a typical used appliance salesman, pushy annoying and an all around douche. The prices were a little high for what I was looking for but of course with some wheeling and dealing and manager approval (the salesman was texting the owner trying to get me the best price) we came to an agreement on price. I paid and told them I would be by the following day to pick up. I was unable to borrow a truck so I went back the next day and paid $50 bucks for them to deliver. The delivery driver said he would be by at 4p.m. to make the delivery. He did not arrive until 9pm and when he finally got here I had to assist him getting the refrigerator in the door. While he was hooking up the fridge he informed me he did not have the hose for the water line but that I could go by the shop and pick one up and hook it up myself. I was fine with that but honestly it kind of defeats the point of delivery. When I went to the shop to pick up the hose, the same douche salesman gave me the third degree about the water line as if he didn't believe me but finally gave it up. The second day I used my washer the motor burned out on it. I called the shop where they informed me that they could sent a tech for a $50 service fee or I could bring it up there and have them fix it for free. I informed the guy that I paid for delivery and felt they should come get it. He said that was not their policy. We came to the agreement that if I brought it up there to be fixed, they would bring it back. I took it up there on a Sunday and was told they would call me in a few hours and let me know what was wrong with it. They never called on Sunday. I waited until Monday afternoon to call and then wad told they didn't have my washer. After about 20 min of confusion they found my washer and said they would deliver it on Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon came and I received a call from someone at the store that they would not be delivering and I would need to come pick it up or pay $40 for them to deliver. I am all for supporting local business but this place is horrible! read more

The refrigerator stopped working within 30 days, which is in their warranty period, and they took 4 days to bring out a replacement. We lost everything in terms of food. It took 4 visits by me personally, and a complaint with the BBB that they finally refunded by purchase of the fridge. The owner would LIE to my face and tell me that he was not the owner but a sales person. DO NOT buy anything from these folks. They take junk appliances and supposedly use a 29-point system to fix them which in this case did not work. You can buy new appliances and have much better luck. read more

I called on Wednesday about my oven having no power and they were able to come out next day. That was nice considering it was a short holiday week. They came out on Thursday and charged me a $49 service fee. He was in my kitchen no more than 5 minutes, but didn't have the parts to fix the oven. He said he would have to come back the following day. The following day he came back with the parts and charged me parts and another $65 for labor. Profit from service companies is in parts and labor including an upcharge on both. The service fee should be included if they do repairs. I feel like I was overcharged for a relatively simple repair and will not be using the company again. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I bought a fridge for 416 dollars. Worked for a few days and it died ruining quite a bit of food. I called asking for my money back.. you can imagine what they said, NO. I told them to show up in my house and fix it, i got another no (I lived to far away for them). If i wanted to fix it I had to take it back... I ask for the owner, they said he was going to be in mexico all week. I call the next day and they made a mistake, they got the owner on the phone. First thing that i ask, Were you suppose to be in mexico? answer.... ehhh, yeaahh, ummm, that was my girlfriend... (liar). After getting mad at him for a while he said he wasn't going to help me and if i wanted the fridge fixed i needed to take it there. So i did, the fixed it and i notice that there was rust coming out of the door... Their asnwer? thats imposible, doors are made of plastic.... at that point i decided to take the loss and went to home depot and got a brand new one... This place is a joke. I had part numbers in hand to replace a shaft and hub kit. I needed a estimate to get a repair done on my cabrio washer. Parts to do myself came to 90 bucks. But I would have to buy a tool to seat the bearings for another 90 bucks. So I'm thinking that should be around what the labor costs would be to fix so I called them up. Well they won't give me an estimate even though I gave them all the information. They wanted to charge me a $65 service fee for an estimate. Keep in mind a estimate is just that an estimate.... All he would have had to say it would be approximate and if the price was reasonable I would have done it. But to refuse to give an estimate with the parts that I wanted to replace without the $65 fee is ridicules. Keep in mind this was just a phone estimate. Estimates are to keep them from price gouging and steeling your money. I am a educated and pretty handy guy. If you don't know what your needing you generally need to trust a company to do the work for you. With what they are practicing I would find a much better rated business. I should have read these reviews first but I didn't. After the phone call I decided to check out the ratings and from what I read is exactly what I experienced. Go here at your own risk. read more
