I went to many hardware stores trying to find a specific specialty part for my outdoor faucet. When I arrived at Ace's, I was greater warmly and a staff member assisted me. Although the part was not in stock, they did stated they could order it, and were very helpful. Although I didn't make a purchase this time around, I can still speak to the excellent service that I received as well as the value of customer service, which seems to be loosing its appeal these days. Don't. Had them out and washing machine is leaking worse. Told me what the problem was and said it would take 2 or 3 days to get the part. Said what he did would stop the leak coming from under the washer and I'd make a decision to repair or replace. Whatever he did made it worse. My laundry room is flooded. ACE has repaired both my washing machine and vent hood. The vent hood gave him a run for his money but he never gave up. He came back with parts until it was finished, and never charged me for the additional time and work it took for him to figure it out. The technician incorrectly assessed the problem with my dishwasher and completed a repair that didn't fix the problem. I spoke to the manager who agreed that it was done incorrectly and promised a refund. After 3 weeks the refund was never credited. Now, the manager won't return my calls. I have to work through the credit card company to dispute the charges. read more

We had Aces's repair come check our refrigerator that was broken. They were very professional, diagnosed our issues right away and charged what I believe to be a very fair price for the repair. They ordered the parts and had them installed in 2 days. They offer a one year warranty on the parts which is better than other places we contacted. Do not use this business. My refrigerator broke down. I just paid Ace's Appliances repair $112 to come by for 10 minutes and tell me my refrigerator is still broken. They can't fix it. Nothing they can do...WTF? So I am out $112, and no repairs. FYI, my refrigerator is only 10 years old. read more

My washing machine was making terrible noise and shaking violently in the spin cycle. I called Ace's and was able to schedule someone to come look at it the same day. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the needed parts, and scheduled the installation a few days later. He always called to say he was on his way about 15 minutes before the scheduled time, or if he was delayed, he called to tell me that. He had to return once to replace defective parts, but of course, there was no charge for that. I am extremely impressed with the professional knowledge and conduct of the service technician. I will certainly call Ace's again if I am in need of any other appliance repairs. read more

These guys are amazing! Covid times have made jobs their theirs so hard, with parts being on crazy back order from manufacturers, but these guys handled it with complete grace. Our induction stove top completely stopped working. We tried going through our warranty company which ended up sending us a company that was a complete joke. We ended up hiring Aces separately and they were a complete joy to work with. I'm VERY pregnant (like due any day) and they frequently followed up with the manufacturer on our parts and came out to fix it literally the day after it arrived to make sure we got the stove fixed in time for baby. Their communication is spot on and we're overall just a joy to work with. We will absolutely use them in the future if ever needed. read more

I am very disappointed in the service provided by this company. My landlord hired them to put in a used/refabricated washer and dryer. No washer failed almost immediately. Now I have to wait for days for them to come out and fix it well my clothing is sitting in a wet drum. How is this acceptable? I would love an answer to that question... Run, don't walk away from this Company. Washer wouldn't run through a cycle, so they sent out a repairman twice (same guy) replaced drain pump, and said it should work, it did not. Sent him out the second time, said it was the struts. Didn't have it in stock but would be back the next day. Wasn't the struts. Over $350 in at this point and they sent the Supervisor. Supervisor "fixed" everything but left the drain hose out while running a cycle and water ruined my original hardwoods. Supervisor left, and washer still not working. Bought a new washer, called the company and was told "All I've heard since we started this job is bitching"??? I offered to drive the washer to their office to drop off so they could get their parts out and refund me, and they hung up on me. Called back and asked for a refund, and hung up on again. My refrigerator has a slow freon leak. I needed it topped up to have time to replace it with a new one. I called Ace's refrigeration and explained what I needed. The arrived promptly and topped up my freon - a 30 minute operation. They charged my $65 for a diagnostic fee and @$225 for topping up the freon. There was no diagnostic work here. I told them what I needed and the technician arrived at my door with the freon equpiment in his hands. I consider this to be an outrageous charge for the work involved and will never use them again. Note: My usual appliance repair company is 'Ace Appliance' also in Keller (Davis Blvd.) who have provided me with satisfactory service in the past. Very poor customer service. Recently had a discrepancy with the company and it was not handled in a professional manner. The person handling the discrepancy did not admit to the incident nor seemed concerned when proof was presented. If I could, I would give no stars at all and will never recommend this business to anyone. Find another repair appliance company that holds a high standard of being honest and trustworthy. Thank you so much - woke up to a puddle under the water/ice dispenser on my year and a half old Samsung refrigerator...opened freezer and everything was going into meltdown. My refrig started beeping and stopped cooling. I called Ace's Appliance Repair, the technician came out to my house. He was in and out in 10 minutes; he said it was the relay switch and he replaced it. He told us things would be fine in a couple of hours. An hour later the refrig was beeping again. I called, and he said it must be the compressor. He would order one for us, but it will take a couple of days for the part. I asked the tech how do you know it's the compressor, you didn't really do a thorough diagnostic on it. He said because that's what usually goes when the rely switch goes out. I did not feel comfortable with the tech, he seemed rushed, and shooting in the air as to why the refig was not working. I called another company, the guy was here 1 hour. He first told me the compressor is fine, and he check a couple of other things. He took the back panel off the inside of the refig and said, "there you go, you need feon." He put feon in the refig and everything works perfectly. I WOULD NOT recommend this Ace's Appliance Repair, incompetent, non-professional, and only interested in your dollars! read more

I had a an ice maker which was not dispensing properly. It was fixed but then the paddle that you push to initiate the release of the ice went out soon after. Even though it was not directly related to the initial problem, Cole came out and fixed the new problem (corroded circuit) and didn't charge any additional service fee or anything for the part. I feel my work of cleaning inside dryer/vent stack was not done professionally. After speaking with two other appliance companies, my cleaning should have been done with a shop vac and a brush connected to a drill. The tech. arrived very nice guy asked me for (my) paper towels to wipe my dryer after I asked don't you use a shop vac and he said no. If anything if he was here to clean up my excess lent then why do I supplies the materials? I even called and spoke with another guy and they do it this way all the time. My vent according to another appliance company said a drill connected to a line(s) with a brush at the end will drill out the lent build up. The whole purpose of this is to prevent a fire from happening in my dryer and vent stacks. I paid nearly $200 for this. Guess this was a lesson learned for me. I now know how to do-it-myself!!
