The waitress Yahira was extremely nice and attentive to details with our order. Food was fresh and hot. And took no more than 15 mins. Todays visit was okay. The parking lot is pretty small so it can be hard to navigate/find parking. Be prepared to park on the street. The inside is nice. I think it's socially distanced well. As you can see in the photos, the portions are decent/large expect for the drink. The chocolate milk is made with chocolate syrup (this isn't bad but not something I've visibly experienced at other restaurants). The pigs in a blanket were good. However, the farmers skillet was very bland. I added salt and pepper and it was still very bland. Ketchup made it a bit bareable. I was extremely disappointed with it so I only ate a few bites. The food, good as usual but they might want to lessen the portions. I ordered pancakes today and a normal serving comes with 6, maybe it should be 4. I didn't see one person in the restaurant today finish breakfast and saw people getting their leftovers to go. Also, take it easy on the whipped cream on the food, it shouldn't be a mountain of it. There shouldn't be more whipped cream on a plate than a meal. The staff needs a lot more training. Gold star to the girl Chloe, she was on her game. The service got dicey when 5 other people tried to help in her section. Maybe reduce that to 1 or 2. Not a gold star to the hostess Lauren, it didn't seem as if she wanted to be doing that job and it showed with how she was seating guests. Be careful when you order to go once again they messed up our order.Called in our order was read back order over the phone and told twenty minutes get here to pick it up and they forgot to put an item in.The past three times I've ordered they have either forgotten something or never even put it in.The food is great but for some reason you always have to double check the bag anytime there is a to go order.I would not recommend ordering from a delivery service because it will more then likely be wrong.For the prices they charge one would expect them to get it right but nope always wrong.Now I have to wait another 20 minutes for them to get it right hopefully.Looks like we may have to start going to the Oaklawn location because at least they can get it right.All I can say is good luck and can you please update your hours online. read more

The cook forgot to put cheese in my eggs, so they took it back & I heard him say he was cooking everything over. That's not what happened. My eggs were reheated & they just mixed the cheese in. I frequent the house of pancakes an I know the servers . Today was not a good experience Saturday morning is busy as usual no problem my family was seated in a timely fashion so far so good. My waiter is with another group in front of my booth where he is flirting with the customers fine no problem. The problem came after customers left the waiter never came back to take order waited patiently 20 minutes. I had to get up and get a waiter to take my order which was polite an attentive. As for my original waiter never apologized he continues to serve other customers when he decided to come back our area. I believe in tipping so my waiter will get 20% of the check. I hope no one gets the terrible treatment my original waiter provided which was nothing. read more

When you're spending $20 on an omelette, it is not too much to ask that they get it right. The incompetence with the carry out order taking team has reached a breaking point for us. Three orders in a row where our omelettes with ham, cheese, and broccoli were screwed up. First, no cheese. Next, spinach instead of broccoli. So far service has been excellent. Servers are cheerful and energetic. Atmosphere is cozy yet spacious because the large number of tables are not all in the same room. We are in the back room with a nice assortment of booths, four-seaters, and a large round table now occupied by a good-looking young family. There is oak everywhere. I think these are ten foot ceilings. Wonderful smells in the air. A "country" feel that was popular when the restaurant was last decorated. We have our coffee and tea and have placed our orders. I am having the veggie omelette and Steve ordered the strawberry waffle. Food arrived promptly. Fluffiest omelette I have ever seen, and delicious. Must stop typing and enjoy. read more
