Great spot to meet up with friends or to work for a bit. The service, food, and ambiance are exceptional. There's a wide variety food/pastry options to choose from so my friend and I decided to a few different nibbles to share. The staff were friendly and helpful answering our questions since it was our first visit and we're not well versed in Turkish food. We ordered the stuffed grape leaves, pogaca, the Turkish Burma kadayif, and baklava (walnut, pistachio, and chocolate). I also ordered the rosehip tea and it was delicious! The space is clean and has great ambiance. There's plenty of seating options including the main lobby area, upstairs, and outdoor seating. They offer free wi-fi if needed and it's pretty quiet making it a good place to grab a snack and get some work done.

Really cool space. Really like the second floor, very cool space to hangout in. The only downside was that the menu was really confusing. They had their menus scattered on the board and counter instead of one main one and the items were on the board with names that did not match the names listed for them in the case. Luckily their staff were really great which made up for that confusion.

Service was great! So helpful and informative as we asked a lot of questions! The cardamom latte was so tasty and the stuffed dates were amazing!

If you want a quiet and spacious place for a cup of delicious coffee and Turkish treat head over to the Turkish Cafe Co. I felt like I was on vacation somewhere relaxing with a delicious Turkish coffee and delicious chocolate baklava. The serving tray was ornate and beautiful. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The upstairs was roomy and inviting. The menu has an array of choices. I will definitely return with friends. It was the perfect place to Interview an aspiring videographer.

This place is amazing! Great atmosphere, amazing good and drinks. We had so much fun trying a selection of savory Turkish pastries and Turkish desserts. The borek pastries are so good. The lahmajun was so unique and delicious. Baklavas for days! So many different drinks! The salep drink is amazing. We'll be back to try more of the menu. Just an amazing place.

Super tiny parking lot that only has a few spots, but plenty of street parking nearby. Inside is clean enough, but definitely doesn't sparkle. You can see the kitchen with the giant gyro rotating on the roaster. They do tons of takeout business. If you want to dine in for dinner, then I suggest arriving around or before 5 because the place fills up fast. Otherwise, be prepared to wait for a table. My co-worker tells me that the best thing to get is the special. So that's what I always get, and I never ever regret it. Special is the way to go. You get a nice variety of meats, garnished with onion and tomato, and a side of rice and flat bread. It comes out sizzling on a hot, shallow wok-like tray. It always comes with chicken breast chunks, shavings of gyro meat, and then whatever else he's made for the day. One on occasion, it was chicken quarters, lamb, and a sort of stewed beef. On another occasion, it was filet mignon, strip steak, and something else I can't recall. Generous portions, as it feeds 2-3 people. Great value. The chef/owner really cares too. One time, we were pressed for time, so we only ate a bit and asked for to-go boxes and a check. He had a very concerned expression on his face and asked if the food was alright. I assured him that it was great, but we needed to go to an appointment. Sometimes there's only 1 person working there (chef/server/cashier/busser). When that happens, don't be shocked if things aren't blazing fast. Be understanding, and support small businesses. This easily qualifies as a hidden gem.

I had seen someone a couple of months ago eating the menemen and she recommended it. The Menemen came in a brass serving dish bubbling hot and smelling wonderful with a nice piece of toasted baguette on the side. The dish has peppers, onions, tomatoes, two poached eggs and lots of cheese and spices. It was absolutely delicious, I can't quite identify the spices, but the whole dish was tasty and filling. I would have licked the dish clean if I were at home, but I wasn't going to embarrass myself in public. This will be my new brunch item in the future. Sobyiet is baklava with a creamy cheese filling and I could eat 6 or 7 if I wasn't watching my weight. Normally, I would have turkish coffee but as mentioned earlier I already had too much coffee at home that AM. I like to eat here about once a month when I'm in the area and I love the place. The people there are very pleasant and helpful and will offer samples. Many of the other patrons are Turkish and go there with children for brunch. It's worth a stop to try cuisine not nornally seen in Denver.

Our fave Mediterranean sit down restaurant is in Denver so we were hoping this would become our local go to. Located conveniently just off of 28th street we easily found parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We were delighted by all the pastries (various baklava and more), grab and go breads and dips, grocery offerings as well as the huge menu for food. I went for a chicken plate while my partner went for a gyro plate. Our meals were cooked expertly and ready within minutes & we ate right in the market. Our plates were so inviting with fresh salad, feta, tzatziki, olives and fresh warm soft bread. Everything tasted so great we didn't even take a picture. We also indulged in a couple pistachio baklava pastries - yum. Recommending to all our friends and can't wait to go back.

Even the gyro was pretty decent flavor wise, just a touch on the small side for the money IMO. Biggest issue and why I have to rate it low is biting right into a toothpick and thought I chipped my tooth...Not sure if quality control or what but shouldn't happen and quite the disappoint. I was already too far to go back.

20 Years of Searching - Finally Found It!…read more I've lived in Colorado for 20 years, and I've been dying to find a Persian restaurant that matches King Kebab in Sacramento. Well, I finally found it - Baba Joon Kebabs! I actually drove pretty far from my side of town just to get this food, so I was really excited to taste it. And let me tell you - it did not disappoint. The rice was beautiful, the sauce was perfect, the naan (the bread) was very tasty - everything was just spot on. I didn't have time to dine in, so I ordered takeout. I gave some to my daughter to try, and she fell in love with Persian food on the spot. Then I gave it to my high school daughter, and she loved it too. This was their first time trying Iranian food, and they're already hooked. I didn't get to try the lamb shank this time, but next time I'm going straight for it. And honestly, I need to go back, sit down, and really enjoy eating at the restaurant the way it's meant to be experienced. I highly recommend people give Baba Joon Kebab a try. This is one of those cultural foods you need to have in Denver or in Colorado. Because let's be real - Colorado is a fast food state. It doesn't have much cultural food like this. This is one of the cultural foods you'll actually love. And shout out to the Iranian family running it - they did a great job. Very, very good food.
