This restaurant is in a strip shopping center and in the area of local hotels. We were seated near the bar which was a nice booth with raised barriers between tables which made conversation easy. Our server Kaydi quickly came over to offer drinks, an energetic tone, a positive smile, and the refreshing Southern "yes ma'am/sir." I got the Blues Brothers Burger with sweet potato fries, a very tasty lunch, and filling. We were offered to-go drinks, a cordial touch. Pricing averaged about $25 per person, a very reasonable price for the value delivered. Overall, we will certainly be back the next time we're driving along the east coast. I hope we're lucky enough to meet Kaydi again, as she's an asset to this establishment.

We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery. It is a beautiful location right next to the River District. There's a lovely park, splash pad, and playground right along the Dan River. But when we were done, I did not like how she presented me the check. She just quickly flashed me an amount on a screen, and then hid the screen. I asked if I could pay cash and she accepted it but did not bring me a check even then. We ordered 3 burgers that sounded really good. Such a disappointment. The burger meat in each was shaped perfectly and was as hard as a hockey puck. They appeared to be cooked medium but the meat was tough and gristly. I have no idea how they got all the burgers the exact, uniform hockey puck shape. They must be like those frozen ones you can get at Costco. But $17.95 for a frozen hockey puck? At one point, while my kids were telling me how gross the patties were, while my husband and I told them they had to eat them to go play on the playground, I flagged the server down and asked what type of meat it was. Our burgers were on the small side, which is perfect for us, and we got them wrapped in Bok Choy. Very juicy and very good. Fries are delicious and the small side is huge! We will definitely be back and might try the fish next time. Lots of street parking and really nice place to stop and grab a meal.

I ordered the pimento cheese sandwich and pork belly bites. The pork belly was amazing! Totally worth the trip just for that. I found pimento cheese to be pretty delicious. It came with chips and a pickle. Overall was a pretty good place!
