My wife, kids and I went here on Saturday night at 6pm and we loved it! The kids are super picky eaters but they had the sausage pizza and they really enjoyed it. The wifer and I each had a prime rib dip and they were absolutely delicious. This is the third time we've been here (first with the kids) and we will definitely be going back! Pros: - A lot of TV's (GO HAWKS!) - Pretty darn good food (prime rib dip once, blue cheese burger once, Mac and cheese wedges are fantastic and really good for you , sausage pizza, three cheese pizza (way too heavy on the cheese, only had it once though) - Nice, friendly and attentive waitress - Two pool tables - Newly renovated (had never been here before the renovation - Fantastic location (one minute from house) Cons: - Pretty high priced ( $75 for 2 prime rib dips, small sausage pizza, large tap beer, alcoholic beverage) - Only one video game (golf). I would definitely like to see more arcade style games - You cannot take your drinks outside in the fenced off smoking section that is solely accessible via the bar area. Why? I went here over the weekend with group as our friend lives close by. From the outside, I was afraid it would be old and gross. But the outside looks are deceiving! Nice new tables, live music, pool tables, and great food! The karaoke, live music, and pool is so much fun! Also it was probably the best beer battered fries I have ever had! My only complaint is I was sitting right under the air conditioning vent and they have that thing blasting!! But I assume it is needed later on in the night if it gets crowded, they just turned it on too early and I was freezing! But I will most def be back next time we are in town, I just won't sit under it haha! read more

I was their first customer of the morning. The waitress arrived promptly with hot coffee and kept it coming throughout my visit. I had biscuits and gravy with two eggs. The B&G was well above average and the sunny side ups were perfect. I am not sure how I could ask for more. No negatives to report. I will return of course. read more

I frequent the Paddle Pub. I like this place because it's close to my home and the food is pretty good. I like the fact that it's locally owned and not corporate-grade perfect. It feels comfortable and I like how the servers take care of us. Breakfasts are recommended. So I've been loyal to them, but I feel like they nickel and dime me too much. For example: with the fish and chips I asked for another tarter sauce as there wasn't enough for both the fish and fries, for which I was charged; chicken nachos with little cups of guacamole and sour cream was approx. $16. Small wine glasses for $7 house chardonnay. Happy hour has good deals, but that's only Monday-Friday. I recommend they extend happy hour to include weekends and to not charge for the little stuff. Give us a reason to be loyal. read more

There is always a variety of specials. As people from Buffalo, New York, their breaded wings are the best we have found here!! We always get great service in a welcoming and fun environment! Came here last week for a late dinner after watching the sunset at kayak point. They weren't serving breakfast which I always find it mildly disappointing when I cannot get breakfast for dinner. That is a separate me issue though. Man friend got the chicken fried steak , it came with veggies and mashed potatoes. I got the veggie burger with fries, we also got a bonus side of tator tots; because we like to be fat kids. My burger was nothing special , but it wasn't the worst veggie burger. The man said his food was good, again nothing to write home about but not completely awful. We don't drink and this is more of a dive bar than a restaurant. We waited an hour for our food when there was only 1 other table in the dining room. We also waited over 30 minutes, again likely since we were drinking soda and not alcohol. The tator tots were over cooked according to the man but I like mine a bit crunchier so they were solid in my book. We probably won't be back but it was a fun adventure. We go there a lot. We live real close. I've always recommended it but this time and the last they really failed. We asked for a prime rib dip and it was different it had cheese and some spicy sauce on it and it was not good at all. The PB&J Burger!! So amazing. My husband and I used to live by the Paddle Pub and it was our #1 destination for a good time. We even roped a few of our friends from surrounding areas in for a good time - now it is their watering hole too! Came to paddle pub for Mother's Day breakfast. BAD IDEA! We had a table of 4 and was there for over two hours! Showed up about 15mjn after opening and there was maybe three tables full. About an hour into waiting for food our waitress told us there was only ONE cook! We were there for over two hours! Surprisingly our food was OK. But it wasn't just the wait that was terrible. there was two tables around us who had children and I over heard the waitress saying she was comping there food! Idk if it was all of it but either way she did not comp us ANYTHING! Most of our money spent was buying drinks cause it took forever!! Our waitress didn't offer anything! The restaurant filled quick as we sat there for two hours. There was only one waitress and one bartender for about the first hour we were and there, then another waitress showed up. It was ridiculous. It's almost like when the restaurants empty they have a bunch of waitresses and when packed they have one or two! So just a note do not come here for breakfast! Disappointing visit. This is our third time dining at the Paddle Pub. The other two times were fine, good food, moderately fast service, with pleasant wait staff. Tonight was a different experience all together. We waited and waited and waited for someone to take our order. 45 minutes later...no food. Our beer all but gone and while I could see the wait staff bustling around at the till and hurrying back into the bar, I didn't see food being delivered. We had to work at it to get our wait staff's attention. The tables were full of patrons playing trivia. Most had beverages on the table, not food. We began to wonder if our order had gotten lost or forgotten. When we were finally able to flag down our wait staff, we were told there were two more food tickets ahead of us and there was no estimate for how much longer we'd have to wait to be served our dinner. We waited 15 more minutes. It's now been an hour since we ordered and and hour twenty since we sat down at the table. Ridiculous. I would have appreciated the wait staff keeping us informed for the delay in the kitchen. We might have made a different choice for what we ordered or if we would have returned another time. What I don't understand is the lack of food on the tables around us...it didn't appear that other patrons were keeping the kitchen busy with food orders. They were playing the trivia game. The lack of information from the wait staff and the loooooong wait for food have caused me to seriously think about visiting the Paddle Pub again. I can understand things coming up that delay a kitchen. An attentive waiter can turn a bad situation around. Ours was non-existent. I'm so disappointed in my experience. We decided to pay for our drinks and head home. We're not eating out tonight. Such a bummer. read more

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon, the pub smelled like it had some water damage. Very musty. I haven't noticed that during past visits. It was very quiet. Service was very slow and inattentive. My simple burger was unimpressive, my husbands food was cold. My husband communicated to our waitress that his flautas were stone cold ( FYI, he never complains). Our waitress took it away and returned with a new order which was burned . We had to seek out our waitress to close out our bill, she was busy on her personal cell and chatting with a friend. Love the new and improved bar and restaurant. It desperately needed a makeover. Got rid of those dusty hanging basket lights, the stuffed animal crane machine and grimey booth seats. Love the new tables, floors, mural, extra tvs. More space. Way, way cleaner. Same awesome server :) So far all the food we've tried has been great. read more

We are local to the area and been going here for 4 years. They have a good tap beer and drink selections at good prices. The food is very good for a pub. Breakfast is great and they also have good fun and coverage for Seahawks games even tho Im a Eagles fan.. Great Place !! read more

A change for the better! I have been going here for over 8 years and it was more out of the fact that it was the only place to eat out in about an 8 mile radius if you live in the area like I do. In the past I have basically had to east the same item because when I first came I tried most everything and found 90% of their menu to just be kind of substandard. Back when it was the old owner, they used Frozen burgers. Now when I have an $8 hamburger I generally expect it to be made from fresh beef. They weren't and after trying a couple of them, I stayed away from them. Their ribs and steak were also poor grade meat and prepared without much thought to flavor. The New owners started with the old menu. I recall getting some take out at that time and actually being Charged extra money for the styrofoam containers they put the food in!!! I believe they have stopped doing that as I imagine it met with a good amount of resistance! I have not tried everything on the new menu yet, but I can expressly say that their new burgers are a 1000000% improvement! They use fresh beef and know what seasoning is! Their burgers are reasonably priced. They start at $7.99 for a 1/4 burger and $9.99 for a big half pounder! They also have these 'infused burgers' that run a little higher, but they are absolutely amazing! This place went from nasty tasteless frozen burgers to what I have deemed one of the best burgers in the state! I used to go about 9 miles away to the Five Guys Burgers and now I don't need to as this place makes a better burger. Their BBQ wings are pretty decent too. Onion rings are vastly improved. The food isn't perfect across the board yet (my friend had some chicken strips and while they were clearly better than what the old owner served, they were still not fresh made and were OK, but didn't match their burgers in terms of freshness and good taste.) They have also gone from serving generic soda on tap to actual Coke products! (the old owner managed to use knock off tap soda if that is any indicator of how they cut corners!) The abundance of TV sets is neither attractive or annoying to me. I don't go to the place to watch TV while music plays anyway. They probably overdid it on the number of screens for the size of the place, but in the era of cheap 50" TVs who can blame them for trying to supply some variety and ease of viewing for the patrons. Another reviewer commented about their waitress who no longer works there. While I can not be certain if we are thinking of the same employee, I do know that I have noticed a waitress who used to work there and now no longer does. But the person I remembered was not a very pleasant person as I recall the person always seeming negative and kind of irritable and not particularly attentive with the customers on the dining side. There are some servers who have remained from the old ownership and they all are very nice and pleasant. A couple of new waitresses have been added and certainly seem to be efficient and pleasant to be around. I must say that I can't really agree with the other posters (thus far) in that they seem to really want to knock the new ownership. Citing not to fix what isn't broken??? I don't know. I guess they liked eating strange tasting, freezer burned hamburgers. As long as they don't screw with the classic rock music then I will continue to go there and eat. Since it's early in the new ownership I can't quite give the full 5 stars to the place as a whole (Ok, well I will give the new burgers 5 stars!) but imagine they are still testing the waters to see what is working and what isn't. But I see things definitely going in a positive direction. read more

Ive been coming up here for years and we always went to the roadhouse because it was the only thing around. The food was terrible though. The prices were good but you got what you paid for. Whoever came in and revamped this place did a an AWESOME JOB! The food is so much better. The prices are a little higher but again... You get what you pay for! The fries are crispy and the burgers are awesome! Im so glad this happened. I have literally eaten here everyday im in the area. I havent tried the pizza yet but thats on the list! read more

I visited Paddle Pub last night for the first time since the new owners took over. I met up with friends, our group was a party of 9. I live nearby and have always liked the convenience of meeting friends locally, but was never impressed by the food or service or atmosphere of the old Roadhouse. The service was friendly and they customized my order (I'm on low carb) without fuss. Our waitress Heather was very accommodating with my requests and suggested trading fries for a salad for no extra charge. This was no ordinary bagged salad either! It was mixed greens with tomatoes, bacon and cheese. I ordered the 1/2 pound burger with bacon, cheese, mushrooms and avocado, without the bun. Wow!!!! Best tasting burger I have had in years!!!! The bacon was thick and very tasty. The avocado was half of an avocado, not just two pieces. The mushrooms were fresh and nicely cooked. Real cheddar cheese, too! This burger was better than anything at the big name burger joint by Costco. For a place making a lot of changes from the old owners, they have hit the mark big time with the food. The atmosphere was nice but the music was a little loud. I plan on returning a lot more often just for that burger! Thank you Heather for a great night! read more
