The first bad experience ever at the Paddock. Met a friend we were going to have beverages. Staff first did not acknowledge that we were waiting and then a server had a very nasty attitude and said don't stand there there is a table in that corner. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Seafood heaven. There is so much lump crab over the Expera guess whipped potatoes, and the fillet.

Oh, I absolutely loved this restaurant It was my first time going so I wasn't sure what to expect. I got a fillet with whipped potatoes and asparagus, which was covered in delicious chunks of crab. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Hesitant to try initially as they had 3 stars. We had a good solid experience with good service and good food. I had the Cobb salad - ingredients were fresh, portion was large and I had them do my chicken blackened. Craig had the haddock with jumbo lump imperial and Nantucket Bay scallops. Very good. He had coleslaw and matchstick fries. Very good. Will come back.

Ehh was not impressed with the food or service. Over priced. You want crab cake? Go to the First Post... 2 min down the street. The food is so much better and the customer service is excellent. Food- crab cake was bland. Rice tasted like microwaved rice. Steak freezer burned. The hostess, her name started with K, can remember didn't even drop by our table to ask about water or how the food was until we were done eating. Won't come back, just go to the First Post

We had the worst service and ended up leaving without our food. Never got to try their famous onion rings.

They are a class act! Every staff member we have interacted with have all been professional & friendly. The restaurant has warm inviting decor & we love the bar area. Lots of great choices on the menu & wonderful daily specials. We love this restaurant so much that we hosted a baby shower may of 2026 in one of their upstairs private rooms. The event planner was great to work. She had wonderful suggestions on menu & set up. We chose a brunch buffet & added some of their appetizers & fresh fruit. We had rave reviews from all who attended on the venue, staff & food. We will continue to dine here and would highly recommend the space upstairs for private events. Ample parking - but one suggestion is make a reservation, as they are always busy

My wife had the fish and chips. Food was good and plentiful. Service was very good, ate with some old friends, there was no rush, they gave us plenty of space. The menu is varied, specials are not typical fare, but also do not become science projects like so many "creations" do. The food is left to speak for itself. Affordable. Two small criticisms, can be loud in certain areas. They are very accommodating in moving you. The parking lot. Walking over the bridge can be an issue with cars. Worth the trip.

You see, back in 17th century England, private houses would open their homes to the public and sell food and beer. Hence, public house. Over time, they dropped the "lic house" and just called them pubs. Because you never dropped the "lic house" makes me think that you haven't evolved like you should have. And frankly, your food is proof. In fact, it even made me nostalgic. But not in the way you might think. You see, I loved making fun food concoctions when I was a kid. My sister and I would watch this corny show called "Zoom" on Maryland public television, where the kid hosts would make recipes sent in from all over the country. We'd make homemade peanut butter cups using Jif and semisweet chocolate chips. Or weird sandwich combinations like pickles and potato chips and cheese and jelly. The seafood egg rolls weren't the worst part of my meal, but they were definitely sophomoric--as if a kid chef-in-training was asked to whip something up from Chinese food leftovers. Seafood should never taste fishy, yet these did. One bite hit me like something that had been sitting a little too long above the waterline. Not to mention, they were laying on a greasy glob of some mayonnaise accompaniment disguised as a fancy garnish you'd see on MasterChef. One word: Ick. The ahi tacos. Oh boy. My mind fills with seawater the moment I think of them because they tasted as if they had been fished right out of the ocean and then placed on my plate. They were wet. Soaked. Drenched. The gelatinous seaweed clump on each taco wasn't culinary-forward, just unappetizing. I took one bite and wished I could spit it back out, but I reluctantly swallowed it. My esophagus is now aquaphobic thanks to you. The moment the coconut jasmine rice hit my mouth, my tastebuds took the red eye to the coconut tree haven of the Maldives. Normally, this wouldn't be a bad thing, but the rice and coconut had no cohesion. It tasted like my younger self dumping a handful of shredded coconut--the sweetened kind my mom kept in the pantry for the wool on her Easter-shaped lamb cake--into a cup of microwaveable rice. The only redeeming aspect of our meal was your kind, charismatic waiter. He was lovely in every way--attentive, sweet, and helpful. He would have been an incredible host on "Zoom." If only his personality made the food taste better. For your sake, I hope you learn to evolve your kitchen's offerings beyond the amateurish trio I experienced. If not, your restaurant's bones may end up fossilized alongside every other place that couldn't adapt.
