It does even worth the one star!! The worst place we ever went ! Yesterday we went to celebrate a friend's bday but the music was so loud, literally my ears were tingling!! We asked the manager to lower the volume or do anything to make it better he was saying that usually it is louder! My husband measured the noise level and it was 41% above normal !!!!! This place is pretty cool. Live arabic music on one side with hookah etc. And salsa room on the other side. The best server by far is a girl named Diala. She was on top of keeping our drinks refilled and very attentive. Most of the time if we can't get her..our service is pretty slow. There is no cover charge to enter and so the prices for food is a bit pricey. However, don't let that deter you. My niece and I love just kicking back and listening to the live music. I think the owner could make a few changes like making sure his servers are attentive to the customers...AND that there is a hostess always present to seat and direct guests. I will also say they are very generous on the mixed drinks..worth every penny. They also have belly dancers..not the best I've seen..but fun to watch. If you like Mediterranean food or hookah then I highly recommend The Palace Lounge!! I like to go during the week, It doesn't get too busy so it's nice and peaceful! You won't have to talk over loud music and you won't leave with a headache! I absolutely adore the food and the prices are great! Try the chicken kabob entrée or the hummus with meat! I've been to plenty of similar places in the area and this is by far the best experience. The owner Gazzi is such a great host, I've seen him walk up to every table to make sure everyone is satisfied. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 was because the waiter didn't really pay attention and he seemed like he didn't care, I had to ask for my water instead if him asking me if I wanted anything to drink but it was ONLY this employee, we talked to three others and they were the coolest group of guys ever!! Super friendly and they even asked to take a picture of my friend and I who were celebrating my birthday! :) other than that, the food was ridiculously delicious!! I had the beef kebab....lemme tell you...the most amazing Mediterranean food I've everrrrr had! Every single thing on my plate was yummy! The price is extremely reasonable too!! I hope the owner read this. Do not go to this place. The valet people had stolen my apple watch from my car. I was very civil about it and I did not press any charges, instead I contacted the manager to let him know so he can get the watch back. He did not offer any help and he ignored my phone calls. Came in with a friend of mine they had valet parking which was great was greeted by the host with a warm welcome took us to our seats. Ordered a hooka and was already ready to go smoke it. Probably one of the most hospitable places I have ever been. The Huka was amazingly smooth, I was checked on very regularly and I could not have been more impressed. I went here with my Arabic class to end our field trip with a true Middle Eastern cultural experience. The music was great for practicing dabke that we learned in class, and food was amazing. We pre-ordered our food and the owner went out of his way for the vegetarians and made sure we had fresh hot falafel. First of all the sign outside says Menara Moroccan Grill and NOT The Palace, so you'll be driving around trying to find. I called to double check if it was the same place, the guy told me "Why you asking", off to a good start! Food was decent and service was very very bad. We were sat in a corner because we weren't middle eastern and same happened with other people that came in to the restaurant. We sat down for 20 min before anyone even came and asked, we had to go up and ask for someone ourselves. They took a very long time to check on our food and everything to make sure it was ok. When we asked for our food to be packed, one of the servers took our food but never came back for 20 minutes before we had to ask ourselves where the leftover food was, only to find out they threw it away and not even tell us. They lied to us that they had it but they actually threw it away. Also live music isn't live music, it's one of the patrons singing while they play music on the stereo or through their iPhone. Decent food, horrible horrible horrible service. If you're not middle eastern then don't bother going. read more

First off, we bought a groupon for this place to try it out. Both my daughter an I love middle eastern food. This was for my daughters birthday so we checked the hours, it stated they opened at 4. We got there 4:45 and no one is there. One of the workers was sweeping the patio, I asked if they were open he said yes and took us in to seat us at a table in their dining room. First, no music, no place settings, menus were filthy and crusty. He brought us 2 bottles of water but never asked if we would like anything else to drink. Then after 10 mins he finally came back and took our order. Then we waited a good 20-25 mins for our food with the excuse they hadn't heated up the grill yet! Even though they opened at 4 and the cook and waitress were eating when we came in. Also, the "waiter" was dressed in jeans and a ratty black t-shirt. My daughters beef kabob was good but my shrimp kabob was dry, over cooked and tasteless. We will never be back!! read more

As we walked in the owners wife seated us next to the speakers , we asked if we can move to another table , she said it was all reserved. The night went on and no one occupied the 3 tables that we requested to sit on , she lied and bs the situation where she said the speakers won't effect you guys when in reality it did. We got hookahs and ordered food and sat for the main show that BTW didn't start till 12:10AM. The volume was overly loud we couldn't hear ourselves think and after a while was simply agonizing. The table adjacent had 3 couples who acted quite peculiar. The guys were focused on the ladies at our table. One of them started a conversation with my friend's GF that pissed off his wife or GF. They got gradually louder and more hostile (we gathered they were Jordanians) Plates and cups fell & one of them was threatening my friend for whatever reason, we decided to leave. What a night!
