We stayed here for the first time this weekend and were not disappointed. The mansion itself is very charming and historic being built in 1870. The details in the decor was amazing! You could just walk around taking everything in for hours. We arrived around 5pm on Saturday and was greeted by Ed. I can't say enough about him. You can just tell he's a good person and really enjoys what he does. He gave us a tour and immediately made us feel right at home. I absolutely loved that there were two black labs on the grounds as well. They were both super friendly dogs! The room that we had was beautiful! It was also very clean which is always a plus. We had a very nice bay window that looked out onto the North Side. There was also a working fireplace that was nice to have during the night. We were served breakfast in the dining room area that was very good. Ed made sure to make us comfortable and shared a few interesting stories with us before the other guests arrived for breakfast. Once the other guests arrived we all sat together and had a lovely conversation. It's nice to hear others experiences and suggestions on where to go and what to see. This place made me never want to go back to the more traditional chain hotels! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be back for sure. read more

Honestly, I feel a little torn and somewhat selfish because I strive to keep hidden gems hidden, but because this awesome Inn is in plain sight in the most historic neighborhood blocks away from parks and museums and the stadiums, It'd be foolish to try. The vibe and food are great, but the secret of any inn is the Innkeeper. Ed knows his neighborhood, people, and his special Inn. The contents inside are museum quality. You'd be hard-pressed to stay in an Inn with furniture, lighting, quality and ambiance elsewhere. RJ and Rayzette, the warm Labs that make the stay more inviting are so sweet. It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, so I'm not sure how it compares to other ones but everything was great! The house was built in 1870's and has been kept in pristine condition - it definitely sets the atmosphere and mood for the place. Each room has its' own "theme", I stayed in Chenille with a huge tub and an antique sink, the shower was alright - very low water pressure and took forever to warm up. Ed runs Parador along with two friendly dogs (that don't go past the kitchen, so no biggie if you're allergic). He's very hospitable and told me a few bits about the city and it's history in the morning. Breakfast was good - coffee, oj, banana bread and yogurt parfait, and a whole-wheat veggie egg wrap served with bacon, sour cream and bean/salsa thing. Where to begin. I wish I could transport The Parador whenever I visit anywhere! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. We only stayed for the weekend, but definitely didn't want to leave. This destination is in the perfect location. We were minutes away from everything. When we make it up for a Steelers(My team) game, we will look no further than The Parador. This mansion is huge! Large common areas downstairs. Comfy dining room. A place to hang out outside(too cold this past weekend so we'll be doing that next time). And 9 bedrooms! Not 1-3, but 9! We decided to stay in the Chenille room. I have to say I wasn't sure how a Caribbean theme would feel. Ed did a really good job. It's a subtle theme that isn't in your face tacky at all. Ed was perfect! Always available, but not so chatty that you can't get on with your day. Not to mention that he's a great cook. Yogurt parfaits & sweet bread available each morning while waiting on breakfast. I'll leave the what we had for breakfast out of this review. I liked being surprised by what we were having & it was always tasty. Breakfast with other visitors was fun. The few folks that we met were friendly & awesome. I'm sure Ed has experienced people from all walks of life. You can really tell that he loves what he's doing... a certain positive energy radiates from Ed. The off street parking lot was a nice relief after being out in the city all day. Being greeted by the dogs was always delightful as well. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot. The vacation kept going even after we returned home. We received an email from one of the dogs(Razor) thanking us for our visit. Anyone visiting Pittsburgh or that lives in Pittsburgh... do yourself a favor & stay at The Parador! I've been saving this review for a couple weeks now because I'm actually intimidated to write it! I'm trying to figure out how I can possibly portray with words how wonderful of an experience I had at Parador. Let's start at the beginning. My boyfriend took me on a day long trip to Pittsburgh for my 26th birthday/Valentine's Day. Before now I had never actually stayed at a bed and breakfast, but I was so excited to finally try one out! When we arrived all the way from Cleveland, I stepped out and laid my eyes upon this gorgeous, mammoth, old Victorian home. My mouth was literally hanging open. We knocked on the front door and were welcomed into what looked like an antique museum filled with the most beautiful furniture, ornate lighting fixtures, mirrors and dark woods. In other words, I was speechless from the pure awesomeness of this house. The best part was the subtle tropical hints in the breath-taking decor. Yes, I'm serious. I know it probably sounds tacky, but I promise you it is not. This tropical themed B&B was a winner for sure. There was even reggae playing throughout the house. Ed took the time to show us all around the house and even where we could grab stuff out of the kitchen, like a wine bottle opener. Um, yes, that was essential. He had two super cute black labs too! That's a major score in my book. As we walked into our room, I was right back into my previous awe. Holy most gorgeous, enormous, gloriously antique-y, posh and quirky bedroom I've ever seen. Everything in this room had intricate little luxurious details that stood out. We're talking hand-carved bed frame, dark wood dresser with marble accents, glass-bead decorated mirror, window seat and a little bench in front of a beautiful fireplace. Oh, it's doesn't stop there. The bathroom boasted a claw-foot tub, an antique sink and mirror and all the over-night essentials you'd need (even two robes!) This was the most romantic bedroom I've ever stayed in. End of story. Ed was even nice enough to clue us in to the best restaurants to try and places to go in the 'burgh. He grabbed a map and pointed us in the right directions. And thanks to him we had the most delicious dinner ever. After an incredible, fun and romantic date night, we woke up refreshed to the glorious smells of breakfast cooking. We got up a little later than everyone else in the B&B, but Ed was nice enough to ask us what time we wanted it the night before. When we strolled downstairs everyone was already sitting together, so my beau and I sat at another table. The breakfast looked and smelled delish, but was decided on just coffee and brunch out in the city. Seriously folks, I knew this was my first time at a B&B but I couldn't have even prepped myself for how awesome this experience was going to be. I'm so thankful that my incredible boyfriend was thoughtful enough to take me away for a romantic evening... and that he was cool enough to pick this charming, elegant B&B. The Parador Inn..... Words and photos cannot describe how gorgeous and full of charm this place is. I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. So now, any others I stay at in the future will have A LOT to live up to. The owner, Ed, was such a sweetie pie. Upon arrival, he showed us around this beautiful mansion that was built in 1870. He has two adorable black labs, Razor and RJ, that were very well-behaved and they don't come into the mansion living areas at all (in case you're not a dog lover or you're allergic). This place was wall-to-wall, off-the-hook amazing. Everywhere you looked you found eye candy. Stained glass windows, fireplaces galore, antique furniture everywhere! I couldn't stop sighing and getting a tad bit upset because homes like this just aren't built anymore. Ed told us that the place had only had four owners in the 142 years since it was built. So luckily, it had kept all of its original charm. Our room was just as spectacular as the rest of the place. We stayed in the African Tulip. The photos just do it no justice. The room was huge! Stunning, ornate fireplace mantle, window seat to look down at the street below, stained glass window, adorable bathroom with vintage fixtures. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was simply breath-taking and very romantic. The Parador is in a great location, as you can walk to several nearby restaurants and attractions. If you're not sure where to go, ask Ed. He'll get out the map and show you exactly how to get there. He can also recommend great places to check out. The breakfast! It was delicious each morning. We stayed two nights so we were lucky to have two lovely breakfasts here. GREAT coffee. Really, it was pretty remarkable. I should have asked where it came from. Thank you Ed! A hidden gem on Western Avenue on the North Side. The Parador Inn is a beautifully decorated Caribbean themed bed and breakfast thats located minutes (walking) from both PNC Park and Heinz Field. Palm Trees, chandeliers, and beautiful furnishings. Plus, the patio out behind the house has to be seen to be believed. Ed, and his two black Labs, RJ and Razor are your hosts, the two dogs are as gentle as any black labs you've ever come across. As I mentioned you're minutes away from the North Shore, Down Town, the South Side and The Strip District. Ed serves breakfast, after that you're on your own. I wanted to stay in Pittsburgh with my husband and parents for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning to start a new tradition for our family. It's a tall order to find a place open then not to mention one that is charming and does something special for the holidays. I combed dozens of reviews for many many places before I settled on The Parador. I am so glad we stayed here! To address the negative reviews as they had initially concerned me- don't be worried! Ed was delightful. He has put his heart and soul into making The Parador a one of a kind and exceptionally beautiful atmosphere. Treat it and Ed with respect- keep in mind you are not staying in a chain hotel- and there will be absolutely no problems. Ed went out of his way to make sure we had an excellent stay. Breakfast was delicious; he had discount tickets we were able to purchase for our trip to Phipps Conservatory for the holiday light and flower show; and he regaled us with stories about the area, house, and items within. Ed even let us stay longer on Christmas in front of the tree to exchange gifts. It was the perfect atmosphere for a delightful family tradition. I highly recommend staying here! read more

With a dash of spontaneity I decided to plan a quick trip to a local B&B. Out of the two I had my eye on, this was the only one with a website...sold! Little did I know, I was about to embark on a trip into the movie Cool Runnings minus the snow, olympics, running and movie. The place was completed embellished with a Jamaican theme. Painted palm tree there, steel drum here, reggae music everywhere...this was The Parador Inn. The historic house was old but retrofitted to encompass the feel of being on an island. The owner, Ed truly took the time to make sure all of his guests received the best treatment, from the morning breakfast: mouth watering apple cinnamon french toast with delectable parfaits to the thank you email I recieved a week later which was apparently typed personally by his two dogs...yes I am not kidding. The Parador Inn is truly a wonderful B&B and honestly a nice change of pace from your regularly themed B&B. Oh so you wish you could go to the gym? well the Parador Inn gives all guests a free pass to the local YMCA. Oh you wish you had a river view? Well it's just a short walk away as is Heinz field or PNC Park to satisfy any sports related competitive itches. The Parador in, truly a vacation at Pittsburgh's front doorstep. read more

I would like to start off by saying that my wife and I had an amazing experience here and would highly recommend this beautiful bed & breakfast. We stayed here for a weekend in January. My wife and I flew in from CA the weekend the Steelers played the Dolphins in the first round of playoffs. My wife and I did not think it was going to be that close to Heinz Field, it was about a 5 minute walk. The owner Ed was extremely friendly and a great host. This is a lovely bed and breakfast!! The staff is extremely helpful, the building is absolutely beautiful and it is in a really great location! The staff recommended that we try a restaurant down the street called Benjamin's, we enjoyed it so much!! The breakfast in the morning was delightful! Ed & RJ & Rayzette where the best host any tourist could ask for. My wife and I traveled from Ontario, Canada for the Pittsburgh Steelers home opening game. This mid/late 1800's building boast 3 floors of high ceilings, some original decor and beautiful furnishings. Gourmet Breakfast Quiche was served each morning with Parfait's. Ed has made connections with various city attractions and offers discounts on admission if bought from him, We bought tickets to the Andy Warhol Museum for around 50% off from Ed. We will be back for all future Pittsburgh Steelers games and might even have to make the trip down for Pittsburgh Penguins or Pittsburgh Pirates games. My husband and I recently returned from a wonderful stay at the Parador, where we joined our son and daughter-in-law, who were there for the entire week for a work trip, and had given the inn rave reviews. We all thoroughly enjoyed the Parador, which boasts an intriguingly unique blend of whimsy and elegance in its Victorian mansion infused with touches of Caribbean style. Our rooms were beautiful - as was the garden with its amazing assortment of tropical plants. Ed is the consummate host, aided by his terrific assistants, his two friendly black labs. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with great restaurants, wine bars and coffee shops - and the breakfast served at the inn is the perfect way to start your day. Don't let the location fool you! Located next to a rowdy bar, the Parador is a charming b&b with a spacious and homey feel. The rooms were quaintly secluded - however, we could hear the staff making somewhat inappropriate comments about us in the kitchen below our room. The parking situation was very convenient and easy, but sadly the same cannot be said about the staircases, all of which were dangerously steep and narrow. Leave cumbersome suitcases in the car! Finally, the breakfast in the morning was very disappointing. It was bland, not filling and tasted suspiciously store-bought. The effort was there though. Nonetheless, the owner seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He gave us a wonderful dinner recommendation, including in depth directions. All in all, I'd recommend it to someone stopping in Pittsburgh but probably won't make an effort to return. read more

We had a wonderful time at The Parador Inn! Ed was a wonderful and welcoming host in addition to the friendly Labs, RJ & Rayzette. The breakfast was delicious with incredible French toast one day and Aebleskiver Danish pancakes the next. For a family of three, the Lady Palm room was perfect and the Franklin stove kept the room toasty. The Parador Inn has been well cared for with so many rooms beautifully decorated and room to wander and relax. The Caribbean touches and paint color added life to the decor. This was our first trip since the pandemic started and we felt completely safe and well distanced from other guests while bringing our takeout dinner to eat in the spacious dining room. Also, Ed gave us great tips on things to see in Pittsburgh and also a little history of the surrounding historic Victorian homes in the neighborhood. I've seen some negative reviews here about Ed, and I just want to say, at least in my experience with the man, those negative reviews are garbage. A few years ago I travelled last minute to Pittsburgh for a Pirates game, and for whatever reason it was nearly impossible to find a hotel room in town. I found the Parador and was able to get a room, and Ed could not have been nicer. He gave me directions to the baseball stadium, let me interact with his dogs, made a very tasty breakfast for the next morning, and was generally extremely friendly and informative. Granted, I'd never stayed in a B&B before, but I thought it was great. If I'm paying a comparable dollar amount for a place to stay, I'll always take dogs, a homemade breakfast, and privately-owned business over a chain. My room was large and eclectic, and the house was really cool to explore. One thing I will say is the neighborhood doesn't give the appearance of being the safest... It certainly didn't seem dangerous by any stretch, but I can see where people would think that. Then again, I'm a Vet who knows how to defend myself, so I guess it's a matter of perspective. And it is a bit of a hike down to the river and downtown, but nothing a healthy hike or short taxi can't overcome :) I'm possibly headed to Pitt again for Halloween and I started my search for a room with the Parador (still looking though, just to maybe see a different part of the city). read more

I RARELY write negative reviews but Ed has left me no choice. The Parador Inn is your typical well done B&B. No complaints on the room, the decor, the breakfast - all very nice. But the customer service - YIKES! Ed does not need your money. He does not need you to stay at his manor. He certainly does not need your honest critique of him. And he is very happy to let you know all of this. Similar to why I will not shop at Walmart because I want to spend my money places that deserve it, I would NEVER return to the Parador Inn nor would I send anyone here. Before you think that I am just one bat crap crazy customer, let me explain. Ed's response when we requested additional bottles (by additional I mean 2) of water was to walk to 7-11 and get it ourselves. Really business owner? You are the one who pointed out the "amenity" of the refrigerator with sodas and water. And you response is go buy your own? Wow - thanks. That I could let go of, and did over the weekend. What really did it for me were his comments during our departure. I was in the breakfast area waiting for my husband to take suitcases to the car when Ed entered the room and said "Finally leaving? That couldn't come quick enough." And scene. This business owner needs to take a backseat to his amazing staff and let them handle all of the customer facing responsibilities. I wanted something different for a special weekend that included concert tix @ MCG Jazz - not far from Parador. Ed recommends great eateries -some of which offer discounts if you mention Parador Inn. Want a really cool neighborhood bar? See Amy @ the Modern Cafe on the corner. We stayed in the African Tulip- modern bath facilities yet Victorian/Caribbean. That is the uniqueness of Parador. All of the rooms have personality and history. It simply must be experienced. Ed served a delicious breakfast both days and even added bacon upon special request LOL. This was my virgin trip to Pittsburgh and got to see my beloved Steelers. My wife and I really enjoyed the Paradore. It's a bed n breakfast with a Caribbean theme. The place was beautiful and the room had ample space. It was only a 10 minute walk to Heinz field and there are a couple good places on the same street to eat and drink. Before I even arrived at The Parador Inn, I knew I'd found a great thing. Chain hotels several miles from downtown started at $100/night. Downtown hotels approached $200/night, plus $20/day for parking. For $150/night, I could see the Parador Inn was close to downtown (near the stadiums, just across Allegheny), parking was free, breakfast included, and I'd booked what amounted to two private sleeping rooms under the guise of one room (the Bougainvillea) at the same rate - which was important as I wanted to be removed from my snoring father. On check-in, I was even more impressed. The house is vast and amazing, a true old mansion. Ed has brought a Caribbean touch to this Victorian home with a subtle hand. It's not kitchy, gaudy, hokey, or tacky. It's elegant and adds a comfortable, breezy feel to what could easily be a stuffy old mansion. You'll want to take pictures of the whole property, I promise. And look up! The ceilings in the common rooms are fascinating, and I didn't even notice them till the third night. Ed himself was the perfect proprietor. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, but also efficient. Available, but not particularly chatty. He's also a great cook, and we had three diverse and interesting breakfasts across three mornings. Again, the perfect balance. This isn't scrambled eggs and toast, but unique and very satisfying dishes, all meats on the side (vegetarian friendly!), accompanied by a yogurt parfait (which my father in particular loved each day) and different fresh baked sweet bread each morning. The last happy surprise was just how convenient The Parador Inn is. It's located in a great neighborhood - not exactly a bustling, trendy hub, but a quiet old Victorian district with several chic modern restaurants just a block or two away (with fast food chains as close in the opposite direction if you're on a quickie budget). You can easily wind down the last few hours of an exhausting day of Pittsburgh sightseeing by strolling around this area before crashing in your room. The Inn is literally three short blocks from the highway, couldn't be easier to find on your first day. And for access to Downtown, it's a five minute walk to the light rail, and in the free fare zone, so you can go back and forth from Downtown in minutes for no charge. In fact, Pittsburgh is so walkable and safe, one night after dark we were at Point State Park downtown and we walked across the bridge back to the hotel - 22 minutes total. Skip the hotels. And you won't find a better-located B&B in Pittsburgh. Stay here and I promise you won't think of staying anywhere else! read more

Forget this place.....a B&B is supposed to make you feel welcome......and the Paradors owner Ed makes you feel like you are imposing on him from the moment you arrive. All you have to do is read his own blog on his website and you see for yourself how much he hates his guests....so please do not take my word for it! After he gives you the long list of things you cannot do, including having his average breakfast on your schedule....since it is only served on the hour, and available only when the amount of guests permit. We ended up eating out both mornings we stayed because he said NO to 9:00 AM!!! He complains about this too in him blog!!!! The rooms are average at best, our shower backed up....likely do to the surface that was peeling off! The furniture was uncomfortable and the bed had a musty odor. It all starts with an owner and this one just does not care! He does not even pick up after his dogs....who expects to step in dog crap when you walk outside in the garden! Find somewhere else, there are plenty of nice places all around Pittsburgh and this is not one of them.....on a side note, the parador is in a really bad area....not very safe at night! read more

While walking to dinner, I noticed this adorable inn. I had read about it years ago and really wanted to stay there but never had the occasion to do so. Thinking that it was the perfect time to check it out, I hit the call bell. A curt answer explained that the voice would come in from the kitchen. While I was waiting, I looked in the windows and took a brochure. It was around 5:30pm on a weekday and no one seemed to be staying there. I looked at the brochure and saw the owner and his two dogs. Then the door opened and the owner, Ed, came out. I explained to him that my husband and I wanted to stay there but never saw it and asked if I could look inside. He signed, rolled his eyes, and said, "I guess" with all the exasperation I think that he could muster. Looking around the one room was amazing. The inside was Victorian heaven and it almost overshadowed the owner's terrible attitude. While I was looking at the woodwork and the furniture, he continually sighed and looked at his watch. After about two minutes inside, I could tell that something was eating at him and this was a bad time. I said, "I don't mean to keep you from anything..." to which he replied, "Well it IS the first hometown game for The Steelers," looking at me like I had a mental disability. I could not believe that an owner would not want to be kind and welcoming to a potential future guest. Shocked, I said, "Got it!", walked out, put the brochure back, and left without a second glance. This was our third time staying at the Parador and as usual, we were extremely satisfied with our experience therein. We stayed in the carriage house room, Bromeliad, and brought our 2 French bulldogs, Lola and Matilda, along for the weekend adventure. The Bromeliad is, as far as we know, the only room that is pet friendly as long as you let Ed know in advance. As far as accommodations for the dogs, well, they were top notch- a fenced in courtyard with plenty of birds and squirrels abound make for very happy dogs. There is also a convenient pooper scooper located right outside the entrance to your room with a waste recepticle nearby.The room itself was simple yet beautifully appointed with a very large bathroom, bed and seating area wirh an awesome daybed in front of a huge tv. We loved the paint scheme and felt the room was super cozy and comfy. Breakfast as usual was top notch as Ed used a new quiche recipe that was fantastic. We will definitely stay at the Parador everytime we come to Pittsburgh as it in a central location, has off street parking, a great host, and in our experience, have felt a family like vibe with the other guests, especially at breakfast where they have always been pleasant and sociable. read more

I booked rooms for my mom and my uncles at this local B&B for the weekend of my wedding. They had a fantastic time here. The Parador is located in the middle of the business district of Allegheny West on the North Side of Pittsburgh, which makes it extremely convenient to PNC Park, Heinz Field, the North Side museums, and downtown cultural events. The inn takes up an entire beautifully-restored brick Victorian-era house, and also the carriage house in back. A really nice man named Ed runs the Parador, together with his cute Black Lab, Razor. (Razor is perfectly trained and quite the gentleman -- there is also a stash of treats for him in the B&B's kitchen, if you can't resist slipping him something.) Ed was so gracious and such a wonderful host that I ended up feeling sort of bad that I hadn't known about this place before, because I would totally have gotten married there! The inn itself is absolutely beautiful. The entire interior has been completely renovated, but with furnishings and other decorations that remain in keeping with the Victorian style of the building. The guest rooms are not rooms, but huge, luxurious suites (the smallest of the guest rooms is a 328-square-foot room - bigger than many studio apartments), and the common areas are welcoming and comfortable. This B&B has the typical amenities (in-room TV, phone, coffee maker, full American-style breakfast each morning, wireless access, hair dryers and laundry stuff, little fridges) with some bonuses you don't always see (the decanter of port on top of the piano in one of the common rooms, the giant full private bath in each of the rooms, a conservatory room). There is no gym in the house itself, but you can get a free pass to the Allegheny YMCA (only about three blocks away, and a pretty great institution in its own right). Prices to stay here are shockingly low at $150/night. This is the same price you would pay to stay at a chain hotel, getting a fraction of the space and none of the individualized attention, impeccable hospitality, or unique style you will find here. You should stay here if you're coming in from out of town. I fully intend to stay here if I ever feel inclined towards a miniature romantic getaway or something. It's a pretty great spot. read more

Great little hotel. About the price of a low end big boring chain hotel but with beautiful architecture, great breakfast and two cool dogs who are like good waiters. There when you want/need them and invisible if you don't. If you like to walk, there is a lovely route to the river. My room was huge, pretty and I even had a big TV (best of old and new). My first time in Pittsburgh and this was not what I expected. THANK God! This was an oasis. A total retreat when you step off the street and into Ed's door. He is friendly, welcoming and ever-present while allowing you to explore. His dogs are well-behaved and the rooms are interesting, comfortable and unusual. From the moment I walked into the main hallway of The Parador Inn I knew that I was in a very special place. This restored Victorian mansion is beyond grand with original stained glass windows, beautiful hardwood floors, fireplaces in virtually every room, and lavish furnishings with a Caribbean touch. Every room has its own story and style and really is total eye candy for anyone who is an antique & nostalgia lover like myself. If you're a Murano glass enthusiast be sure to check out the stellar chandelier in the main living space to the left of the front entrance - it's a sight to be seen. This room also contains the mansions only remaining original fireplace mantle which is a work of art. Ask Ed about how it came to remain on the property, it's a funny little story. Speaking of Ed, our host & owner of the mansion, was extremely knowledgable about the property and surrounding area. I of course had a million questions about both which he happily answered for me. Unfortunately we were only slated to stay at The Parador for one evening - I pushed for two but my thrifty husband won the battle. Oddly enough, even with only 24 hours and a football game to attend I found myself completely relaxed and feeling like I was at home within this beautiful house. Our (very clean - Bird of Paradise) room with its high ceilings and beautiful bay window facing the bustling Western Ave. was the sweetest little retreat from the chilly, wet, Pittsburgh weather. The antique love seat situated in front of our (electric) fireplace became my new favorite spot on earth for the few short hours we had to kill before departing. Our bathroom, with it's huge clawfoot tub was bigger than some of the rooms in our apartment and came equipped with delicious smelling soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and even makeup removing wipes - it's the little things, right ladies!? Breakfast is served several times in the morning, your choice. At 9am we were greeted downstairs by the smell of coffee and bacon - heaven. I was served the best French toast I'd ever had as well as delicious pumpkin bread, parfait with fresh fruit, and OJ - it was a great way to start a long day of travel. I am very happy to have had the chance to stay at this very special place that is The Parador Inn. We will be making a point of coming back next year. Other Notes: -There is free off-street parking in The Parador's lot, one car per room -Rooms have cable TV as well as mini-fridges -Inn is (very) short walking distance to Heinz field and local restaurants -Don't call the Parador too late in the evening, this is not a regular hotel that functions 24hrs a day - You will wake someone up and that can be awkward read more
