I have to say I'm surprised I enjoyed this place for dinner. I had heard it was a club so was confused entering & seeing charming, classy decor and men dressed nicely. The game was on and the seat design faces the tv with rounded seats perfect for a date. The dinner menu was nice for my liking of options; the lamb chops were perfect and while the menu doesn't state clearly it comes with mashed potatoes & veggies which was perfect as I originally thought we had to order a la cart. He enjoyed the salmon meal. I loved that they offered tastes of their crab soup with a side of bread. It was my first time trying such a dish and it was delicious!!! I did find it interesting how every female waitress/hostess was the same shade of light-skin mixed with silky hair while the male hosts/servers/runners were of all looks. Lastly, if you'd like entertaining/worthy bottle service these ladies don't deliver. Lol it was the most pitiful sight to see--I feel bottle service should include high energy, body shaking rah rah enthusiasm. The bathroom was clean and smelled fresh which I appreciated. Wow what can I say? I have visited Park a few times in the past for events, but noticed that it's become very popular lately and can be very hard to get into after a certain point in time. My sister had made dinner reservations for a group of friends and I to celebrate my birthday and bachelorette this past Saturday night, and my oh my, did Park excel in their service and treat us exceptionally!!. I don't even know where to begin, but the manager offered us complimentary champagne and then coordinated it so all of us could sit together in one section because we were originally split into 3 tables. I went back here on Friday for Happy Hour, and we were the first ones there when they opened. We were greeted by the manager and staff and seated right away. Shortly after, Chris came over, introduced himself, and he was such a pleasure to have as our server. He started us off with drinks we enjoyed, and we had a great time chatting with him. We told him we were celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week and a graduation this weekend. We sampled the crab soup, and it was a major hit -- so good that we ended up ordering two cups! We came to the park as a group for brunch. I was disappointed that we weren't seated together. There was another large party and they were all seated together. It our party was spilt in two tables. It makes no sense to me to allow us to make a reservation, which was required to be made over the phone since we were so large, and not tell us we couldn't be accommodated or seated together. They were able to accommodate my large party with ease. The mimosas were flowing, the brunch plates were full (and plentiful), and overall the service was attentive and seamless. We came to The Park at 14th for brunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was such a vibe. The setup is a table-service buffet, which was a fun twist. I came to Park on 2 separate occasions during CBC Week. The highlight trip was the Ohio Black Legislative Caucus' bottomless brunch. Park is a stunning, 4-floor venue with a patio in the back. When we were seated, our server immediately greeted us and helped get the mimosas flowing. I have to give the staff there a round of applause, because they had events on top of events all week. Through it all, each person I encountered had a smile and was pleasant with every interaction. During our time, our waters never got low and they were on top of replacing our mimosas bottles when we finished one. As for the food, my goodness. I heard that Park has an excellent brunch, but I was blown away. Not long after we sat down, we were delivered a stacked plate of French toast, mac n cheese, salmon, bacon, jerk wings, potatoes, and a pineapple slice with a strawberry attached. When I tell you I cleaned my plate! The salmon, jerk wings, French toast, and mac were my favorites, but everything was delicious. To round off the event, they had a performance by Cleveland's own Bone Thugs N Harmony, which we were able to enjoy on their many tv screens and impressive sound system. I visited for brunch on Sunday, June 28, and unfortunately what I witnessed completely changed my opinion of this establishment. While dining, I observed a group of young men who appeared to be celebrating and enjoying themselves like everyone else. From what I could see, they were respectful, cooperative, and not causing any problems. However, the way they were treated by management was shocking. One manager in particular was extremely rude, impatient, and unnecessarily confrontational toward the group. The situation escalated to the point where security and police involvement were being discussed, despite there being no obvious reason for such an extreme response based on what I personally witnessed. As a customer, it was uncomfortable and upsetting to watch. No one expects to spend their brunch witnessing customers being spoken to in a disrespectful and hostile manner. Regardless of the circumstances, there is a professional way to handle situations, and what I observed fell far below that standard. Based on what I personally witnessed, the treatment of these customers was inappropriate and left a very negative impression. Customer service and professionalism matter, and management should be held to the same standards expected of everyone else. I hope ownership takes customer concerns seriously and reviews how situations like this are handled in the future. read more

My home girl took me here on a Saturday night. Upon arrival, I can tell this is a turn up spot for all the baddies! The decor was fine; I'm happy we got a booth. It was very lively and buzzin with people both dining and headed to the upstairs bar. We had a reservation to dine at 9:15p and were promptly seated with no issues. Service was quick and, dare I say, overly attentive??? Our waitress was nice but I feel like the check ins were too frequent. Whoever is working in the kitchen over at Park ... kudos to you!! I don't think I've ever been to a brunch where I was so satisfied with the food and every single item was better than the next. I came in for a Saturday brunch with friends and truly enjoyed myself. We'd already had a reservation so getting through the line outside was super easy around 2 pm. We were seated and given our first round of mimosas immediately. They have a wide range of juices including pineapple, peach, orange, strawberry and so many more I can't even remember). Shortly after our whole party got there the food started rolling in. You start off with a sampler plate of all of their brunch items and then can choose if you want extras of anything. The plate included, french toast, eggs, potatoes, fruit, salmon, mac and cheese, jerk wings, collard greens and sweet grits! Babyyyy when I say the chicken was falling off the bone. I truly mean it. Every bite was better than the next. I was so stuffed from this first plate I didn't ask for anything further. And then came .. the dessert. I had one small bite of the apple crumble because I had no more space in my stomach and it was also delicious and warm. Our waitress was kind and attentive. She continuously brought over new carafes of mimosas and refilled out water. She even gave us a little bit of grace when our 90 minute brunch reservation was over. The DJ was also cool playing a mix of throwbacks, current hits and music to get you moving. It was beautiful inside the space as they have started to prepare for the holiday season. I would 10/10 recommend and will be going back soon. Food 6/10 - The Jerk chicken wings were the 6 lmao they were fire!!! Fell off the bone, seasoned well and just the best!! My friend ordered salmon which she said was decent, Mac and cheese cool more on the sharp side but cooked well, green beans which they forgot but eventually when she got them she said they were good but salty as hell lol. The service as you walk up to the front door and they check you in then you get handed to the host/hostess, everyone is really friendly and you can tell they run a pretty tight ship here. For a flat fee you got the following.:.the blackened Salmon and jerk wings were perfectly spiced for myself, if you do like spicy this will surely hit the right spot. Instead of a helpful or welcoming explanation, I received a response that immediately felt dismissive and condescending, essentially telling me "First of all, you're doing the math wrong..." There was no effort to explain things in a friendly or customer-oriented way--just a blunt, transactional reply. I also asked if there was any way to ensure my group could sit together for my birthday. The response I got was: "No. Not at all. I am sorry." That was it--no empathy, no attempt to accommodate, no alternative suggestions. For a birthday celebration, that kind of rigidity and tone is honestly surprising. I completely understand that restaurants have policies, especially for larger groups--but delivery matters. The way these responses were communicated felt cold, rushed, and uninterested in actually welcoming our business. When you're planning something meaningful like a birthday, you expect at least a baseline level of hospitality and enthusiasm. At the end of the day, if this is how potential customers are treated before even stepping foot in the restaurant, it doesn't inspire confidence in how the actual experience would go. I no longer feel comfortable celebrating such an important occasion here, which is really disappointing given how excited I initially was. I hope the management team takes this feedback seriously. I attended an event here hosted by the DC Ques during my sorority's National Convention this week. Entry was smooth since we pre-purchased our tickets. Our line moved quickly, and security was efficient and professional. The venue has multiple levels, with each floor offering a different vibe. I especially enjoyed hanging out along the balcony, which gave me the perfect view to people-watch from all angles. They even have an elevator attendant, which was a nice touch and likely helps prevent any issues with crowd control. The DJs kept the energy going with popular hits, but their setlists felt a bit repetitive and didn't always respond to the crowd's vibe. The bartenders were cool and worked quickly. I paid about $25 (with tip) for a Casamigos and pineapple juice, not shocking for D.C., but definitely on the pricey side. I've heard great things about their brunch, so my line sisters and I are thinking of coming back on Saturday to check it out. read more

I used to frequent Park in my 20s (ten years ago) so I try not to go there anymore. Even then, the food was good but that never made up for the experience of being packed in a small space, rushed through meals and less than attentive service. I was hoping this had changed as I was invited to a birthday dinner celebration on a Friday. Nope. We had a reservation for 9 PM EST. Surprisingly we were seated without all parties being there. I had high hopes for the evening given the start. The waiter was Shawn P (read from receipt). He was forgetful. Many things were ordered that did not arrive. Menu wasn't explained. Upon arrival I thought we had to order from the restaurant week menu but it took other guests at the table to explain that we could order from the regular menu as well. There was only one menu given to a table of 11. We had to pass it around. Service was extremely slow. Some of the meals ordered came with the wrong sides. We weren't informed they were "out" of certain items until after waiting 10-15 minutes for the item(s) to arrive. Then it would be "I forgot to tell you we are out of xyz". Food arrived to the table cold. It was sent back several times until finally they just decided to say there wasn't anymore. We asked to be accommodated (money removed from the bill) when an entree came with a side that wasn't in the description (mac versus mashed potatoes) then being told the kitchen was closed so we couldn't receive the preferred side - we were denied a bill adjustment. We had to negotiate separate checks at the start of ordering- at first we were told that one check would be easiest. I'm saddened to report that nothing has changed with this establishment. The food was still delicious but it's not worth the chaos. As slow as they moved it was as if they hovered over us to finish eating so they could clean the table and get ready for the evening party. My first time at this spot for all you can eat brunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the set up. You will not be disappointed. They start with a first round sampler. Everything they have to offer (you will be almost full with this plate alone). After the first round you can continue to order any of your favorite items. All of the food was top notch. For those that love mimosas, yep they're unlimited as well with a wide variety of flavors. Service was impeccable and it's The Park so you know the ambiance was legit. read more
