I recently used The Parking Spot and overall the process was very easy and convenient. From check-in to getting to the airport, everything was smooth and well organized. That said, it is definitely more expensive compared to other parking options in the area. Unfortunately, the experience on our return completely changed our impression. The driver who picked us up was extremely rude. He didn't respond to our greeting when we got on the shuttle, and when we said "thank you" at the end, he ignored that as well. We even asked him how to get to the restroom, and he didn't respond at all--another passenger had to step in and help us. In summary, the facility itself is fine and the process is easy, but the poor customer service from the driver really ruined what could have been a good experience. read more

Just get an Uber. I got back from my flight, then my group and another group had to wait over 45 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up. This is because they never have enough buses running, so every one that passed us was either full or ignored us. My group had to call their office, which was thankfully friendly and sent an empty bus that reached our stop in less than 10 minutes. We found this easy to use. When you drive in, present the QR code on your phone. The parking stalls are not numbered. After parking, photograph your car with a wide-angle view to show the context of where you are parked. Note which floor you are on and which elevator you used, such as Level 2 North elevator. Operationally very poor. Only runs one route so when it gets to terminal 7 it's always full. Called dispatch and could not figure out what i was asking which was send an empty bus to 7 since there was 2 busses full of people there. I have used the Sepulveda location many times. Recently they started randomly changing their daily rates. In March the covered parking drive up rate was $27.25 per day. A month later the covered parking drive up rate was $44.75 per day. This change was not published anywhere. I parked for 17 days and was shocked that my bill was $838.00 when I piccked my car up. Don't EVER use this parking place. They took over 30 minutes to pick up end though they claim to have shuttles every 5-10mins. After finally getting on the shuttle the driver "forgot " to drop me off and I was stuck on the shuttle for 45 minutes. They finally moved me to a different shuttle after arguing with each other. I MISSED MY FLIGHT AND MY MOTHERS SURGERY! I was forced to book a last minute flight that cost me $100 more than my original flight. When I tried to get my car out the machine was broken. Very frustrating experience with The Parking Spot airport parking. On a previous trip last summer we looked up their rates online and when we got there they charged us over twice the amount that had been shown. So this time we figured with a reservation we would avoid that but once again they managed to bilk is when our flight was late and we checked out two hours after our reservation had ended; they charged us for a FULL day at a rate higher than we had been guaranteed in our reservation. This is among the best parking for the money if you committed the cardinal sin of flying out of LAX (including the way overpriced garage attached to the terminals). This garage is close to the airport and I've never waited more than 10-15 tops for a shuttle. The garage has free Level 2 EV charging (CCS) on lower level 3 and gives free water bottles to arriving and departing passengers. Shuttle drivers are always nice and courteous. I park regularly at the parking spot sepulveda location and the past 3 times (over the last 2 months) I had to wait 20 to 25 minutes for a shuttle. While waiting, I noticed 2-3 shuttles pass by each time for the Parking Spot's Century Blvd. location. And in one instance, an empty sepulveda location shuttle bus didn't stop at my shuttle stop (terminal 2). All 3 times occurred at around the same time...on a Sunday between 10:30am-11:30am (as I take the same return flight home). In the past, the hallmark of parking spot's customer service was timely and fast shuttle pick up but that appears to no longer be the case at its sepulveda location. The century location is not a good option for me so I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Our normal driver retired, so we needed to drive to LAX ourselves. The short term parking is expensive and the off-site parking for LAX seems vulnerable to theft, so I tried the Parking Spot located right next to In and Out Burgers. My husband's go to place for parking, he likes it, convenient and you pay for what you get. One thing that I did not like is when we came back to LAX, there were the parking spot buses and even though we would waive at them, they just kept driving so we had to wait for sometime until we were picked up, we had to call them. Recently I was planning for my first post-COVID LAX roundtrip flight and I only came to realize that parking near LAX was the most convenient & cheapest option for a short weekend trip. I thought about using a rideshare service app or door-to-door shuttle service, but both options are either too unpredictable or too expensive to use at 4 AM. [Parking fee]: The uncovered rooftop self-park is approximately $22.50 per day and covered self-park is approximately $24.50 day. If you want to pay now (non-refundable) then you will get $1 discount per day. There's also AAA discounts and at the end I paid approximately $105 for 4 days of covered self-park. Please note that there is no elevator access from the roof. [Departure]: Use the QR code to enter into the parking structure and failure to use your QR code will result in additional charges. I came at 4:45 AM and was able to find a spot to park on the 2nd floor without an issue. All lower levels and level 1 to 3 are covered self-park. Airport shuttle literally came 1 minute after I had arrived to the shuttle waiting area. The shuttle got to Terminal 3 in less than 10 minutes. [Arrival]: Please proceed to the designated outdoor area called "Hotel & Parking Shuttles" (giant red sign) at the DEPARTURE (not arrival) level (2nd floor). Just follow "Hotel & Private Parking" arrow sign while inside of LAX and you should be able to navigate your way to the red "Hotel & Parking Shuttles" sign. I had to make a call to customer service (310-846-4747) because I was confused with the purple "Rental Car" sign at the arrival level (1st floor). Please note that The Parking Spot operates Century and Sepulveda locations and I probably saw three Century shuttles before spotted one Sepulveda shuttle. The wait was approximately 20 minutes on the curbside and another 20 minutes from Terminal 3 to the parking structure at 9 PM. My shuttle was so packed that the driver was planning to tell one Terminal 7 customer to wait for the next shuttle, but the guy just quickly hopped on the shuttle and said "I have been waiting for 30 minutes and I don't want to wait." Lastly don't forget to use the QR code again to check out at the exit gate. [Pro tip]: Download The Parking Spot app and you will be able to track GPS locations for each bus shuttle. No need to call customer service representative & yell "Where's the shuttle?" because being a shuttle bus driver at LAX is not easy. Expect a slight hassle and headache to get back from the airport to the parking structure, but overall it was a smooth process and I would certainly consider using The Parking Spot again. read more

Do not allow this business to drive your vehicle. We had 10 day valet parking while we went on vacation. They damaged my vehicle significantly, pushing the panel over the wheel into the hood. Visible scraping etc. We traveled for over 20 hours before landing back in LAX and arriving on a delayed flight. They quickly loaded our bags and shuffled us off. We got home around 4 am and went straight to bed. It wasnt until the following day when we went to get our bags out we saw the damage to our vehicle. We filed a claim and spoke with the GM David Ramirez. They were super friendly , and assured us that they would look into the matter, not to worry they have cameras etc. Today I received a call from an extremely rude claim adjustor, she said that I would have to prove they did it and that her "client" would not assume liability. She also accused me of wrecking my own car, and said that it didn't matter if the video showed damage, it was up to me to prove it. Basically this company can wreck your vehicle, pretend they care and then have someone representing them tell you "prove it" while refusing to disclose the video info or any evidence "because they don't have to tell you anything". I reached out to the GM and original claim adjuster for follow up. The adjuster told me it is what it is and the GM had nothing to say. So if you use this shady company please make sure you take a video of your car before and after. Book at your own risk! read more

This is our go-to for long-term parking by LAX. The location is well-lit, always has security, and even has free cold water. This seems like a small thing until you return parched and dehydrated from a long flight. The shuttles rotate very quickly. We've only had to wait for a long time once at LAX because we had just missed the last shuttle, and it was crazy rush hour. We also have the ability go gain points and use AAA for discounts. Today 12/27 my family and I went to parked there and thought it was the In N Out or the shopping center parking lot. After parking our car in the second lot, we went to eat at In N Out and then went to roof top to see the airplanes. My husband said that it said in the sign no video or pictures and we agreed on it. All of the sudden this security lady came really rude saying no pictures or video, we told her we were not taking videos or pictures and she told us that we needed to leave, we were like what? I saw people earlier looking at the airplanes and did not see any one ask them to leave. The lady was so rude and she followed us to the car until we were out The parking lot. After maybe an hour or less my husband paid for the parking and the place charged more than $33. Even if this was the only place to park our car close to LAX, I wouldn't go ever again.
