Passing through town and saw Mexican breakfast being offered here. Yes, please! I got the Mexican Hash Browns. SO filling and flavorful with the green chili. Mike got the Migas Cuatro and couldn't finish his either. We both left full and happy!

This is the best food we had on our trip to Denver/Boulder. We ordered the chilaquiles and the special Quesobirria Tacos and eggs. We also got a side of green chili and the house potatoes. This food was unreal good. Extremely large portions, the food itself was perfectly (not overly) spicy, seasoned well, and just straight up tasty. This is a diner at the end of the day , and everything you can expect from a local diner will be here. The service was amazing, food delivered quickly, and it was crowded with the typical weekend diner atmosphere that I always look for when dining at these types of restaurants.

Solid breakfast spot with the classics and reasonable prices. Diner feel with outdoor seating and a Mexican flare to their food/decor.

5/5! The food and service was great here. We got the breakfast burrito and Denver omelette. The omelette is a deal because it comes with two sides (I got the hash browns and mini waffles). If you can get any side, the mini waffles are a must. The serving size is great for the price. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We were worried that there would be a wait on a Sunday morning and limited parking, but we were seated immediately. Overall, great experience.

This was absolutely delicious. The green chili had a nice mild spice level and was rich and super flavorful. Eggs were done perfectly and the service was excellent. Good coffee. I added the veggies and beans as sides and it was great this way.

A 'hidden' true Boulder delight. Nothing fancy just good food and great service. And they have gluten free bread :)

A 5-star diner. The menu is very good, the food is very good, they serve it quickly and the servers are top notch. It's a somewhat odd location, quasi industrial but, I'll come back whenever I can.

When you forget to take photos of your food, that's how you know the food is amazing. I've forgotten to take many photos of our orders since our first visit last week, which doesn't occur very often. I guess it's safe to say we're addicted to the parkway cafe lol. I'm normally a creature of habit when it comes to my orders, but I've made it a point to try different items on the menu. The first visit I had eggs benedict and split it with a family member since we weren't that hungry. I thought we were going to get an extra plate to split it ourselves, so when it came already split into 2 portions, we were amazed. This was the first restaurant that's ever done that for us, and we truly appreciated the gesture. The following visits, I tried their Mexican hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and hobo omelette. Everything has been amazing so far and all the dishes are reasonably priced. I like how they give you a discount if you pay with cash vs a credit card--it's not much, but I'll take a discount any day! Highly recommend this cafe to anyone who's visiting or a resident.

There are only two tables on their patio that have an umbrella, so we were sitting in the sun at first and it was getting really hot (but then we were able to snag a shaded table when it freed up shortly after) All of the menu options sounded so good, we started with drinks, I can't remember the name of my cocktail, but it had egg white in it and was so delicious. We ordered the burrata appetizer and all of our means at the same time. Unfortunately, the appetizer never came out, our server for that to put it in. I ended up going with the Bolognese and it was really good so was the steak frites and street cart chicken that my friends had. Their fries are pretty good. The server felt really bad for forgetting about our appetizer and offered us a free dessert instead, so we tried the churro donuts which were ok. I'm still it was a good meal and I would definitely come back if I'm in the Boulder area again soon

The drinks were definitely expensive, but we were happy to pay for a quality experience at an upscale restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.

The Philly was super greasy and the cheese was on the side. There was so much gristle and fat it was hard to eat. The bun was also super crunchy instead of crispy and light. The chicken was also terrible. It was a little thinly sliced chicken breast, that maybe got pounded out too thin and then fried. As it's family friendly my crew always feels happy to bring their well behaved little one along. While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. While it's Boulder afterall I hold hope that parents will look after their kids if they decide to bring them in or drop them to the nearby kiddos climbing facility if they wanna play. Looking forward to many more good times with friends at this awesome locally owned gem.
