I've never been excited about getting an oil change, shopping for clothes or getting a haircut. They all seem like chores to me. But, when I do have to get my oil changed I like to take my car to people who care (more than I do) about cars. When it is time to buy new clothes, I like to buy them from a sales person who knows about and enjoys the clothes they sell. I don't know why I never thought of a haircut like that. My brother Alec he goes by Al has been cutting my hair for 7 years now, he's got to be one of the best barbers out there in the industry! Got a same day appointment with Isaias. This man knows his way around a pair of clippers and comb! He has impressive skills coupled with impeccable customer service and rapport. I was out the door in a solid 45 minutes with finishing touch of Suavicito pomade for the fresh, just-out-of-the-chair look. Have been coming for a good 4 years or more,Rodrigo has been my barber for even longer I have had 2 barbers in my life that are even worth mentioning. Since seeing Rodrigo starting about 6 years ago from barber school until he has started working for the parlor barbershop 4 years now he has improved his craft tremendously and I will not see another barber. The parlor has a family type atmosphere and have seen numerous times taking walk ins as they can with a decent wait time and the barbers all work together to give each other tips and information about trends etc. This place has been the best shop I've been too by far even if Rodrigo was out of town I feel confident seeing as they have 10 plus barbers here that anyone of them could give me the cut I'm looking for. They also have times for appointments outside of shop hours which I always a good thing for holidays as they have been open for big holidays for appointments only. read more

Love this place, starting with the old-time barber pole. The character of the place has a welcoming feel and positive energy. Javier Ramos cut my hair and trimmed my beard with all the care and precision of a surgeon. I appreciated his vision and attention to detail. The only downside is that on arrival it is not clear how they prioritize walk-ins. I waited a full hour for a guy who asked me to wait, and then forgot (and denied) that I was waiting on him. Luckily, I had time, and Javier stepped up and made it right. Also, be advised this is a cash only basis, but they have an ATM machine in the middle of the parlor. read more

Walked in and was able to be seated immediately. No egotistical barbers, everyone was nice and friendly. They have a nice lounge set up in the middle of the shop with leather couches and flat screens hanging from the middle of the ceiling. My hair is real short so I just had them taper the sides. I thought I would be paying $20 but the taper and some slight fades and a line up cost $15. Its cash only so my barber Ricky was kind enough to let me walk to my personal bank down the street to pull cash instead of having to use their in house ATM. read more

This is a review for Jorge V. at The Parlor. He did an amazing job at cutting my 3 year old's hair. He was so patient and friendly to him. Before doing anything to my son he would talk to him and let him know what he was about to do. I like that he treated him with that kind of respect. The attention to detail he put into the cut was well worth the price. We were walk ins and had to wait quite some time but the wait was definitely worth it. I hate looking for new barbers but The Parlor made it seem easy for me. This place came at high recommendation from friends and on yelp and I'm glad I followed the advice. I walked into the place on a Thursday to check the place out before I made an appointment. It was very clean and the barbers were very inviting even tho their chairs were occupied. I made an appointment for Saturday. Jorge cut my hair on that Saturday morning and he wasn't annoyed that I was a little late myself. He was good for conversation and you can tell he cares about his work. I told him I wanted one of those cool soccer player haircuts and and the end of the cut he was on point! His fade was super clean. I also got a hot towel shave and out the door it was only $35. That's a great deal considering the quality and full on experience u get... The only star missing is that I would wish they had a shop manager or assistant to manage appointments. There is a Barber named Ricky who cut my hair 2 weeks ago and i couldn't believe the way this guy reacted when i wasn't satisfied with my hair. Again "MY HAIR" . I still offered to pay the full amount and asked if we could maybe do something else and i gave him the standard option and he threw a fit about the product being in my hair and the contact with his clippers , so i said we could wash it out. We didn't end up washing it out because he just said fuck it and began cutting my hair and starting pulling on my hair hard and actually thumped his clippers on my head intentionally . Very unprofessional, doesn't know how to handle problems correctly, and has no clue of customer service and also has a short temper. read more

Heard about this place from a friend so I gave it a try.. well two tries. First time I was double booked. Waited an hour to get my haircut. Second time I was scheduled to get cut at noon and didn't get seated till 1. Why even make an appointment? The haircuts are good but unless you have a few hours on your hands don't bother. I would expect that the barbers would have better time management. This is a professional business. read more
