This place has it's ups and down...it's where I live so IF I really want to shop I go here cause they got DSW/Reflections/ Macy's/Sephora so I mean it has a lot of stores I go to... I like that it's outdoorsy and it's when the it's nice out...it's the spot to be at...they have a PF Changs and other little places to eat out... Also on the weekends they might have some music/live band playing or guitarist...It's really nice. they have tables, so when your tired of shopping you can lounge. Also when it gets dark and you feel like mingleling they have a yard house there... Or if you want to catch a flick they have a theather...you can't go wrong but the traffic does suck... Other than that it would be a nice thing to do with your friends or family. if your significant other likes shopping w/ ya I would take him/her there. =) read more

I live down the street from Paseo Colorodo and I can't knock it because I'm always here. It's a nice outdoor mall that has a lot of restaurants and a few high end retail stores. It's not as crowded as Old Town Pasadena, but is nice & cozy place to visit. Sometimes they'll have free concerts in the main plaza or across the street at the Civic Center. In fact, I just saw the SPAZMATICS perform a free concert here last weekend & I must admit they put on a pretty good show! read more

I grew up in this area, thus frequented Paseo Pasadena often. things to know - it basically is one big shopping square - adjacent to the ice skating rink - parking: underground (and a few on the street) --- it can be a pain in the behind to park --- get validation! (or you'll end up paying a lot) ------- the movie theaters and restaurants give extra time for validations - there are random photobooths - the second floor is mostly restaurants like Yard House, Islands, Tokyo Wako, etc. - the rest of the plaza is comprised of boutique shopping/ chain stores (i.e. BCBG) - Macy's is on one side - Gelson's is on another read more

The shopping concept here is as good as dead, but the restaurants here seem strong. Most of the shops here are closed or on the verge of closing. This is kind of sad, but totally understandable since Old Town is down the street and is a better shopping experience. Sit-down restaurants are more favorable here. In fact, I feel that there are more active restaurant spaces here than stores. They have restaurants like Yard House, El Cholo, and Islands. I have a relative that lives in the apartments that are within this property and they are quite nice and upscale looking. I think extending the apartments would be better than having shops here. I remember when this mall opened it was alright, now its horrible about 80% of the retail spaces are vacant. Save so time and skip this place. Parking is horrible also. I wont be going back unless they demo the place and make it how it was before. read more

There isn't much to do there except eat and watch an over-priced movie; both things that I could do in Old Town for a much better experience. About 5 years ago this place used to be hopping and you couldn't walk 10 steps without running into someone you know, but now it's pretty much deserted. I walk to Paseo when I visit my boyfriend so I can't talk about parking, though it seems they have a big parking garage underground with validation. I agree that this is the WORST Macy's. I thought maybe the Macy's at home (Honolulu) was just unusually nice (which it is) but I think this this one particularly sucks. The angry filipino lady at the jewelry counter really pushes the credit card (Filipino people love to work at Macy's huh? (including my mom lol)). Came here with my girls to spend some time outside. Not too much selection of stores at this place but the people were more upscale and that was nice. You won't find people with tattoos on their necks, fat baby-mamas with crying kids in strollers and the like. Ghetto is definitely not chic here. Limited selection of stores here so don't expect the full mall experience. Good to come and walk around and be outside. Don't come here when it rains! read more

Honestly there are not that many stores in paseo colorado, but i do love just the atmosphere. on weeekends there tends to be an art walk or what not :D Remember to get validation at Macy for free 2 hours :D Enter Macy from the mall it's to your right I do like how they have gossip reference and a few other boutiques. They also have sephora and Mac which old town doesn't have :D Other than that, I really just go here to do a quick browse. Oh BTW weekends and some evenings are a little crazy int he parking garage and it's hard to find space so be patient :D Dining experience they have yard house and i think a few other big chain restaurants :D They also have the ARC light theatre read more

This complex is a mere 5 minutes walk from the Sheraton Pasadena (as well as Hilton and Westin). We didn't find anything particularly special about it aside from the architecture. It's a beautifully constructed mall, but the size makes it look much bigger than it really is. There are many small shops (nothing big named except for probably Macy's) and plenty of restaurants. There was an abundance of teenagers, which is probably due to the fact that there is a movie theater and low to mid-range eating establishments. I wouldn't waste my time here. read more

When I was a little girl, my parents would drive up the 110 and the curving freeway always puts me to sleep. These days, it's more nerve wracking and I wouldn't be able to sleep on that careening highway! But the lure of the Plaza always drew us. It was a great mall. I loved the baked potato place. And the Sanrio store. Then it became desolate and empty. Eventually, they renovated the place. And now there are all these great shops, most of which I cannot afford. But the parking lot still sucks! They couldn't have changed that up a bit? Oh wait, they did...with this new fangled technology. And yet, it still charged me $6 to park when the movie theater failed to validate my ticket properly. Blah. There aren't people around to try to argue with. Well, there are but what are you going to do when it's the day after Christmas, freezing out and you just want to go home? You pay the $6. Unfortunately, you use your debit card you neglected to put money on and then you get slammed with a $35 overdraft fee. Ooopsies. read more

I wouldn't really go here for shopping because the variety is limited but if you only want Macys, ok then! To all the whiners because of their parking, get some patience and learn to read the signs. The Paseo is a nice little shopping center that is better known for it's restaurants than actual stores. Most notably there's the Bodega Wine Bar, a Yardhouse, a P.F. Changs and more. The shopping is a combination of high end and cheap stores: from BCBG and Coach to knock offs of Charlotte Russe. The best thing about the Paseo is the outdoor seating- where there are often live shows or DJs. It's also where local artists set up booths on the weekends. Makes for a relaxing day out of people watching. read more

There's really not a lot of shops but there are good eateries & Arclight is there. It's a good place to stroll around while waiting for your movie. All the good shops are further down on Colorado Blvd. It is fun tho when they have the chalk painting festival, live music & entertainment. Just don't expect amazing shopping. read more

The staff are NEVER friendly, and are often rude. About half of the place tends to be under construction, so it often takes a while to find a space in the first place. The elevators are slow and often shaky. Often, some of the entrances are closed. Usually, most of the exits are also closed, which creates quite a backup of traffic. They recently made one of the exits "residents only" which further contributes to traffic congestion. One of the "pay on foot machines" which should help to expedite the leaving process has been broken the past several times I've been there. Worst parking lot in Pasadena (and I've lived here for years and been to them all, so I know what of I speak!). Please, park somewhere else! read more

I stopped here on my way to see a friend who lives upstairs from this mall. It was okay, they have a cool sports memorbilia store where I bought a whole bunch of UCLA stuff. Other than that it's one of your run of the mill upscale wannabe retail plazas. There is a P.F. Chang's, Cheescake Factory (I think), and a Ruth's Chris across the street. The Macy's is neat and the Loehmann's has a decent men's selection from what I saw. I give it 4 stars because I walked past a few non-chain restaurants and a wine bar that looked pretty cool. read more

It would be 4 stars, but the latest experience = :( During the day, this place is nice. Its got an alright selection of shops, & the food will get the job done (Islands). The movie theater, in my opinion has gone down hill. The last time I went, on a Friday night, I was going to watch a movie with the boy. We were getting in line for the movie, and I literally got shoved multiple times by these loud obnoxious teenagers. Then I realized the entire place was packed with lous obnoxious teenagers! They were smoking weed out of apples ( no really! ), being super loud, and just would not get the french out the way for people that were actually there for a purpose. What they did to this place is 100x's better than what they had before. Lots of parking, cool ambience, good mix of retail shops, and great entertainment throughout the year. The residents on the North end have a fabulous view of Pasadena's City Hall. There's a cool fountain area for kids to splash around in and a huge, open area where the entertainment is held. It's home to The Yardhouse and my favorite shoe store, DSW. It's also within walking distance to Old Town Pasadena so you can continue your shopping spree along Colorado. Its a shopping Center with the types of chain restaurants and easy walking that please both your folks and suburbanites that get overwhelmed by down town Pasadena. (Yes, they do exist!) Rip Off!! First of all, why so little outdoor seating etc? Secondly, everything is so expensive. The Express Pay charged me $9 even though I had Movie validation. Told the parking guy and he asked "why'd you pay"? Well, because it had my ticket that I needed to exit and to get it back it said $9 pay please. So we had to go to the parking office... This-after the Arclight guy told us to try the electronic kiosk which couldn't read my card. Had to get in line for their other electronic kiosk which read my card. But WHAT A HASSLE. read more

I always wanted to review this place. So here comes my fingers. Firsts thing. I wish the old mall, was still there, the one they took down years ago. That mall was cool. It was so cool, it was on a Fresh Prince of Bell Air episode. This place is always empty unless they have an event like the "Chalk Festival." At night or a movie premier. They have stores most people can't afford or stuff people won't buy. It can get hot in Pasadena so walking around the mall it's not an option. The theater is pretty cool,and nice. I guess because I'm, different generation. I don't get why many teen just go there to hang out, outside the theater or around the stairs area. So get ready to see that. I gave it two stars because of the theater and the nice little ice cream place that sometimes gives away free ice cream. BRING. BACK. THE. OLD. MALL! read more

i went to the spectrum cable tv office in the paseo on tues. 6/7 with some questions about possibly bundling my cable, phone and internet bill with spectrum. donte helped me, and he answered all my questions. before this, i went to the spe trum office in hastings ranch in foothill, and waited there for over an hour before just leaving. so this was way better. read more

I had an issue with the parking attendent that was working the late night shift at Paseo Colorado Friday 3/3/17. He ended up cursing at me. It doesn't matter wat the issue is was he should have never called me what he did. If he was my employee he would no longer be in my employment for treating a customer how he did. read more

This review is more for the Terraces at Paseo Colorado. I lived there for 2 years and was loving the closeness to old town. Initially when we first moved in we had the Macys and Gelsons supermarket on property. Times change and the two named businesses has since stopped being part of the property. I lived on the Colorado Blvd side of the complex ontop of Noor which is a banquet hall. Every so often they would have an event and hear the Bass from the party. I was tad that Noor had passed the noise regulations place by the city of pasadena. You may not be able to hear the music but you can definitely feel the BASS coming u the floor. I move a few books away and pay 500 dollars less than we did at Paseo. Until they get some new and upcoming businesses a year lease is not worth the rent they ask for. read more
