    3 pc Cannelloni

If Chef Boy-R-Dee had a restaurant this is what I imagine it would be. the food is just ok... nothing special. Wait staff was busy with a friend who brought her baby and was on her phone FaceTiming people the whole time. (Loud & rude). Not to mention the customers were suffering because of the distracted staff. I won't be back. One and done for me had the 3 pc Cannelloni.

Can never go wrong swinging through Pasta House for a nice meal. I'm a big pasta lover so anytime you ask me I'm all in! I typically start off my meal here with their Mt. Vesuvius very delicious chicken fillets. Then I'll move to their house salad followed by the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. In the picture included you'll see their seafood ravioli which is amazing too To finish it all off, the cheesecake The menu is very suitable for people of all ages and tastes too, more than just pasta! Be sure to check them out.

The service is terrible here. I've always loved pasta house but stay away from the one on Ladue crossing . They're ruining the brand name.

This was so good; we came here the whole week we were in St. Louis for lunch! The office I was working in was on the same block as Pastaria Deli & Wine, so a less than five-minute walk from the office, so no driving or need to hail an Uber was awesome. Inside there are wine bottles all over the walls and it just has this cozy, Italian café/deli vibe. Depending on when you get there, the line to the cash register can snake out the door, but it moves pretty fast. There's a surprising number of tables inside and since the weather was nice, there were several tables out in front. Each day, we had the same cashier, Carly (I believe that's her name). Carly was incredibly bubbly, cute, fun! Once we placed our order, we received a metal tag with a number on it and found a table. I didn't order any sort of specialty drink; I took advantage of the free water located near the back of the restaurant. The time from when we placed our order to getting our lunch was pretty quick, even when the place was packed for lunch. So for the three days I was in St. Louis, I ordered these three sandwiches: 1. Il Capo Italiano: Lemon ricotta, mortadella, soppressata, mozzarella, giardiniera, salted potato chips (Miss Vickie's most likely), arugula, red wine vinegar, & extra virgin olive oil on a 6.5" Union Loafers Hoagie - A jam-packed sandwich! The lemon ricotta was amazing and the crunch from the salted potato chips was excellent. Beware that this sandwich is heavy on the oils, so be prepared to "wear" this sandwich the rest of the day unless you brought your toothbrush. haha This sandwich was plenty thick, the slices of mozzarella really helped to make this sandwich thick and filling. 2. Volpi Heritage Prosciutto: Volpi Heritage prosciutto, butter, lemon olive oil, & house-made giardiniera on a 6.5" Union Loafers Hoagie - The lemon olive oil was a very pleasant flavor, not too strong. Of the three sandwiches I ordered, this was the smallest in terms of fillings but it was still plenty filling for lunch with a bag of Miss Vicky's Spicy Dill Pickle chips! 3. Chicken Bacon Ranch: Thin sliced chicken breast, bacon, smoked cheddar cheese, tomato, arugula, banana peppers, & jalapeno-ricotta ranch on a 6.5" Union Loafers Hoagie - The sliced chicken breast was piled on thick and the bacon was a welcome addition. There was plenty arugula and banana peppers inside but the jalapeno-ricotta ranch elevated this! Creamy with a slight spicy kick to it. I didn't have one bad meal here and for the quality and quantity, I felt the prices were pretty reasonable, especially in the year 2026. Pastaria Deli & Wine is an awesome lunch spot! The friendly staff, cool, authentic Italian-vibes, fast service, and the quality food, it comes together here! I can't wait to come back through St. Louis for work and stop in here again for lunch, maybe I'll even treat myself to some of their gelato!

You order at the counter and choose your own seat. I ordered the delicious kale caeser wrap with chicken & Mrs. Vickie's sea salt chips. They have an assortment of sandwiches, salads & desserts, including gelato. There's a cute little grocery section too with some specialty items, like boxed sugar cookies. Our food was ready fast. Even the coke from the can was fresh & delish. Would def come back!

The Best Dining Experience We've Had in St. Louis - Hands Down…read moreMy husband and I wanted to give our dear friends who are leaving St. Louis one last unforgettable meal from their bucket list, so I immediately recommended Peno. I used to be a regular at Rosé with the same talented Chef Pepe, and his food is truly to die for. We walked in on a beautiful day and were lucky to snag a spot in their small parking lot (parking in the area isn't the easiest, but it's worth it). Our server, Harry, made the evening even better right from the start. He had such a warm, calm, professional presence--the kind that's rare these days. We instantly remembered his name thanks to a fun Harry Potter / Harry and the Hendersons reference, and he handled everything with effortless skill. When our friends had parking trouble, Harry quickly offered helpful suggestions. Then, when it was time to order, he elevated our meal in the best way possible. My husband and I got our longtime favorite--the Roberto pizza from Rosé days--and Harry suggested adding sausage and peppers. That small tweak took something we already loved and made it 1000% better. Absolute perfection. Our friend ordered the spaghetti (her all-time favorite comfort meal), and after taking Harry's thoughtful recommendation, she declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had in her life. We finished with the cheesecake. I'm extremely picky about cheesecake, but this one did not disappoint--it was creamy, rich, and flawless. This was one of those legendary meals you remember forever. The kind where you leave thinking you could die happy. Chef Pepe's food, paired with Harry's outstanding service, made it a perfect night. If you're in St. Louis, do yourself a favor and go to Peno. You won't regret it. Thank you, Harry and team--you helped create a truly special send-off for our friends!

If you can actually land a reservation, congratulations, you've won the Resy Olympics. A friend pulled some strings and got us in, which felt less like dinner and more like a heist. I went for the halibut special. It was a pesto vibe, flaky, and sitting pretty on a bed of couscous. It was giving coastal vacation energy in the middle of the Midwest. #stlouispescatarianapproved without hesitation. That said, is this all worth the reservation stress? For me, debatable. St. Louis is quietly stacked with spots that don't require a minor miracle to get a table. Now the pizzas were great. I took a few home and suddenly became the most popular person in the room.
